Gave us a “discount” with a nearby hotel that was more expensive than what you could book it for online. Had to wait several hours for them to get us back the carry-on luggage that they insisted we check in the first place."

United crew hid in the galley the whole trip wit lititle to no interaction with passengers. My flight today on Delta was great; food really excellent (Chicken Tika) and the crew was great as usual. The 1000s of people to make your flight in an hour at this unfamiliar airport Now try to do that when your wife also has to get around with her scooter and try to stay together. Then if your flight gets moved to another gate...and you have 10 minutes to do ALL this again... Never mind the bathrooms while one of us watches the scooters while the other uses the facilities and this is Impossible. Never mind the narrowness of the elevators. STRONGLY SUGGEST AN AIRLINE EMPLOYEE TRIES TO SEE THE PROBLEMS FIRST HAND with a scooter, THEN RECOMMEND FIXES. And don't get me started on the restarants with tables too close together if you use a scooter. Toronto airport is better as a comparison. Alton and Mary Cason"

Then we ran to the gate inky to find the gate was closed less than 2 minutes before we arrived. At least 20 others also missed the plane because of the lack of crew and long lines checking bags. It was frustrating, irritating, uncaring crew checking in, and a bit rude. Then on of my checked luggage was lost enroute - which made getting off the flights even later which made me miss a meeting that I was scheduled to be at. All because you didn't have the crew needed to check in."

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

Cons: "The Washington airport is horrible. The gate we left from was not a gate but a series of doors that buses came to. This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Althiugh the flight is only 1.35 hours, I was surprised that flight attendants didn't even make an effort to offer a drink service. No turbulence or anything, just seems they were lazy."

Pros: "From start to finish the flight faced problems: unscheduled stop for refueling, change in planes for mechanical problems, emergency medical intervention, and more. Yet at every stage the flight crew and gate staff did an outstanding job communicating and seeking to alleviate passenger woes. With delays, we missed connections, and yet AA worked wonderfully to find alternatives. At the end of the day, we arrived at our destination, and even our luggage made the trip successfully! Wonderful courtesy, adaptability, and determination to serve. Thank you."

Cons: "United. September 14 Newark to Delhi Premium Economy Entertainment screen didn't work for 1st hour of the flight. the movie list was mediocre at best. The screen was smeared with some substance. The list of movies on the United entertainment app is great (via internet) but connectivity on this type of flight is spotty so the traveler is forced back to the antique screen plane system. Dinner. Butter chicken or vegetable options. Food was bland and very small portions for the length of flight. The snack was delivered immediately after dinner was picked up. I did not open it. Looked like a hard roll with something on it. Style of service is abrupt, bordering on rude. Uses terminology that non-US travelers from different cultures would not understand, for instance do you want "white" coffee. Asked me if I had someone at home to pick up after me as she felt she was cleaning too much off the floor. Her comments appeared to be directed at me but it was not my trash (and even if it was, a better approach would be recommended). The flight attendant realized she had gone too far and apologized. Then complained about this "route" being difficult, with no one listening. She concluded by wishing me a good flight and saying that she hoped that she had not offended me. I assured her that she had. Breakfast was mediocre. Egg with soggy potatoes and an inedible sausage. Did not see what they were offering in the veggie dish. Staff seems tired and not culturally sensitive. There needs to be some retraining and consideration given to long haul menus and entertainment. I take this flight at least once a year. It continues to deteriorate."
Cons: "Temp inside plane was freezing cold. Pilot was asked 3 times to adjust. People were bundled up, hugging themselves and had blankets over their heads to try to stay warm. After third request to pilot, the temperature was set to so hot people were sweating and complaining. Typical United Airlines crew who think they are driving a cattle car"

My issue unfortunately the people sitting behind me with 2 kids under age 3-4 years old. One of the kids screamed and cried for probably close to 5 hours. I didn't sleep at all. At one point, he cried for a continuous 2 hours while he kicked my seat. I felt like the staff should have asked if they could help, maybe suggest walking him around, etc. The child must have had ear pain, he cried constantly. I felt so badly for him."

Pros: "One of us had the last seat on the plane even though they were reserved almost a month ago. However we had signed up for basic economy so that was not a shock. What was a shock was that water was dripping from the top side track onto his lap and he had to use the provided brochures to redirect the dripping water. The steward said it was condensation and that was it. Also, since it was next to bathroom, the smell wasn't great and the small child screaming while waiting to get into the bathroom wasn't pleasant."
Cons: "We were forced to deplane in DC and instructed to go to the United customer service counter to arrange our missed connections in Frankfurt. After standing in line at the United counter for 2 hours, we were told to go to our gate to re-board our plane. we wasted all that time standing and all but 2 agents had left the counter to take a break. it was EXTREMELY STRESSFUL not knowing what would happen to our missed connections. when we reboarded WE still did not have connecting flights.Also, on the United flight to Frankfurt, I had a premium economy seat and it was HORRIFIC. the extra leg room did NOT make the seat more comfortable and I SUFFERED greatly because I am recovering from an injury. Upon arrival in Frankfurt, after a great deal of begging, I got a hotel room for the night and upgrad to economy premium for the flight from Frankfurt to Addis. that Lufthana flight was better because my seat reclined somewhat but still I had a great deal of pain throughout the flight and I would have preferred to have been upgraded to business so that I could lay flat to ease my physical pain. Overall, the experience was extremely STRESSFUL and painful and the only way, I feel that Lufthana can repair this situation is to give me a free upgrade to business on my flight home.to Miami"

They then said United couldn't assign seats at check in - only at the gate AND THEN the said they couldn't assign seats for our second leg because it was operated by Luftansa. It was ridiculous added stress on our honeymoon and my husbands first cross Atlantic trip. Made me never want to fly Luftansa/United transatlantic again (and I have been a milageplus card holder so that's saying something)"

No one offered compensation or even to wave the surprise fees for seats and for baggage. This was after they lost our luggage on our way out to Washington!! With no compensation or apology. We will never fly Frontier again - it was a huge fiasco."

Not sure I will fly with them again, as waiting for what COULD have been my carry-on at the carousel took so much time... then again, it makes it easier and quicker to board and de-board. But the seat charges were still ridiculous. Wish drinks and like, pretzels could be free just so we don't deplane with harsh breath."

A lot of junk food, and a huge offering of alcoholic beverages. Could we maybe have healthier food. It could still be pre-packaged somehow. Cost of carry on: $30. Checked suitcase: $25. That did not really make any sense, other than they make more money that way. Also irritating that if you want to have a specific seat, rather than waiting for what you might get at the airport, you have to call them, and pay $13 for a seat reservation. They are nickel and diming you, or rather in dollars. It is a rip off."

Cons: "When we obtained our boarding passes, the Assistant could not speak English very well and kept pointing at our computer screen from behind her desk-thanks, but we didn't need her help. Upon boarding, we were taken aside to have our bags checked. We were told that both bags needed to be checked, and it would be $60 per bag, total $120. We were not told why because again, the Assistants could not speak English. They again, just pointed at the sign on the side of their desk and to the bag measurements. One of the bags fit in the overhead compartment, and we were not told why we had to pay for it to be checked. The flight was at most 60% full. There was plenty of overhead space. On top of all of this, when we checked in for departure with the same airline, the Assistant told us both of our bags were free because the person with whom I was traveling was military!!"

In the interim, I missed my connecting flight and was stuck and delayed yet again"

When I went to recollect my luggage from them, no one was there at the counter and they were not responsive via phone. I have yet to receive an email for my voucher."
Cons: "2 hour delay on tarmac b/c they had to add additional fuel for weather. Kicked passengers off b/c of the extra weight, but not enough to allow us to take off in the normal direction from DCA. Had to wait an extra hour on the tarmac to fly the opposite way. Ridiculous."

I booked Frontier because I wanted to take my daughters to see their Grandpa, perhaps for the last time and this was the best price I found. It wasn't a huge savings, but like many families every little bit helps. So you can imagine my surprise when we go to check in and I find I have to pay $45/ bag. And of course, this will happen both ways. So my savings just went far out the window."

I fortunately I noticed when shecking in and prepaid for a checked bag. Which strangly is the less expensive option. I have flown Frontier several times and this is a newer policy. I always remind myself after a Frontier flight that I will not fly with them again but their low fares keep luring me back. But no more . This is a deal breaker for me. I can pay a little more for my flight and get a free carry on and a drink! I also did not appreciate having to BUY a seat assignment."
