I also disliked that some of the crew members drove the food/beverage cart violently through the isles and saw as one of the crew members rammed into another person's leg, to only say "oh sorry" and kept on going. This same crew member missed picking up the trash from an entire row and was throwing trash on the floor. She was more interested in caring for a baby on board (not sure if it was her daughter or family member) than the rest of the passengers. I also didn't like the seats were so close to each other, the person in front of me almost hit my face when he reclined his seat all the way back. There wasn't much room to breath let alone stretch."

It made a long, uncomfortable flight seem a whole lot longer."

It’s just tight quarters for a long flight… not much to do
The crew was excellent, attentive and professional. Our charging system in our row was down so I couldn't get entertainment or emails. However, a passenger next to me asked escalated the problem and the attendant had her plug in to the seats behind us. I suppose I didn't want to bother anyone. The landing was the best by far!!!
Flight was on time. No problems with luggage. We did have to use our own personal devices to view movies. Unfortunately my ipad did not have ios 13, so I couldn't access movies with it. I had to use my phone instead. Instead of full-sized sodas, I noticed that they gave us a mini-version of soda (around 8 oz). However, they did come through and do a second beverage service during our flight from Virginia to California, so we were able to get more to drink. They did not offer us pretzels during the second beverage service, although they may have if I had asked. Overall a good experience with minor inconveniences.

I’ve never had to wait more than 5 mins for a meal, that I PAID for, to be delivered to my seat. I was starving, forced to waste money on meals I couldn’t fully eat AND had to wait over an HOUR to receive them. I am beyond disappointed."

Finally I found someone to ask bc 15-20 people were around me in the same boat. Where the f do we go we wondered. The employee was insanely rude. I’m attentive and I listen. he was saying pay attention I told you go right blah blah blah. He was literally standing there with his arm out pointing right and never said a word to anyone. So once we figured out to go outside and right we had a stressful ten minute wal hoping we were going the right way. We were! We get to tsa and have to go through screening again. Which is insane bc we just got off a plane. The tsa agent told us this happens everyday with a smerk. On top of her attitude, her and the two other lazy ladies on her line were painfully slow. The other two lines went at least twice as fast(no exaggeration!) made it to gate 66 to find it was changed without notice to 63. Made the flight by two minutes or less sweating from running around!"

His arms were on my side and fortunately my husband was in the window seat and I leaned into him the entire time. The mans wife was not next to him but across the aisle and I understand why! He also had very poor hygiene."

I think the airline wanted to avoid saying the flight was delayed. We waited 30 minutes while Lined up at the gate for the crew to arrive and get on the plane, then have us bird the plane. Then we were delayed because there was a “problem with the numbers” which appeared to refer to not knowing how many people got on board. That took over twenty minutes with us sitting at the gate before leaving. When we arrived in Denver nearly an hour late, the captain said our “gate is occupied.” And we waited another twenty minutes on the plane, parked, waiting again. Wish they were more transparent. Not the worst thing in the world, but the flight attendants could have been nicer considering the circumstances. But they were frustrated too it seemed. Love southwest, but when this review was asked it comes after a tough flight the night before with three kids and a planned layover that got extended without being clear about it. The flight status was always “on time.”

During the process of boarding, one passenger was apparently injured due to a falling article from the bin caused by an incessant and non contained effort that went on for some 5 minutes of a passenger trying to JAM a bag into a space. No Flight attendant intervened. The flight was delayed for 1.5 hours because of the injury (minor and a bit overdrawn) which resulted in waiting for medical attention at FLL. The entire flight was held. The pilot and the flight attendants did not address the issue and resulted in just sitting on the plane with little or no explanation. Clearly there was a liability concern by SWA, as they had a ground supervisor enter the plane and realign baggage in the bids. The Flight attendants were very short and non courteous to passengers. The pilot was not present a exit of the plane.. We were terribly delayed and it was due to mismanagement by the flight attendants and the ground crew. The in flight service was horrid. Someone needs to look into this."

When we arrived at our gate we were told the flight was over sold and that I didn't have a seat. The lady at the desk was very nice and said you will be compensated for the mix up. After calling a few different people I was told that I wouldn't be compensated because my flight was "free". I refer to the 100k needed to attain companion fare capabilities Aka "free" airfare. We have never had a problem with southwest before to be fair quite the contrary but sadly the first time we had a problem it was handled in such a way that it cast a shadow over all of the past positives. Hopefully they will make this right. I can't imagine they won't."

The problem is that on bulkhead seating, the arm rests don't move up so it looks like they're sitting ON the armrests which means I'm leaning into the aisle and the person by the window is squeezed. However, other seats (middle) exist and no accommodation is made. There's also a policy that a COS procure an extra seat, for their comfort and comfort of others. Guess not, and when pointed out, the FA shrugged and asked if I want to move. Sorry, but I bought business select because I wanted a certain seat (get off fast, aisle, leg room). So instead of recognizing the policy, instead of making sure the COS is in a comfortable seat, instead of asking someone else to move where the armrests can be lifted, etc. She gets to sit nearly on the arm rests and negatively impact (aka wrecked) the flight of two business select customers (A4 and A2) Really?!?"

The concept that allows you to sit where you like is really nice. Next to the playful, friendly approach to interactions, the ability to choose seating is my second favorite. No games with baggage pricing is refreshing."

When we landed at lax we had to travel across the runway for quite awhile to our gate where we had to wait another 45 min for the other plane to leave before we could park."

There was a problem getting on, they allowed premium members to board but when I got to the plane, I was scolded by the cleaning crew lady (maybe the Mgr) that they were not ready and that she had informed 'them' of that and that no one is allowed to board while they are cleaning."
