Pros: Welcome and ambience. Mine host could not have been more helpful. Easy parking nearby. The building is wonderful and the beautiful quiet garden/patio area was beautiful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Facilities, people, breakfast
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and a most memorable stay. Ton, the hotel owner was very friendly and helpful! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. The decorations in the hotel are inspiring with marble fireplaces and subtle peacock decorations! (in keeping with the name of the hotel).
Cons: The amazing bathroom has a superb shower and large slipper bath. Unfortunately the hot water in the bath was not very hot - maybe this is a safety feature but I like a hot bath. I was only able to get a warm bath. This was not a problem but if you are going to have such an amazing bathroom you should have nice hot water to go with it. The shower was very hot so I used that instead!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Location, couple of steps away from centre. Plenty of parking in front of Hotel. As always great stay. Only Hotel for me when I visit Den Bosch for a Holiday or for work. Beautiful hotel, very elegantly designed with lovely details. Very good tea and good coffee making facilities in the room. Bedrooms are huge and very comfortable. Pros: Beautiful hotel, very elegantly designed with lovely details like tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Bedrooms were huge and very comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful, immediately providing us with a map and suggestions of what to do and where to eat and we were able to leave our bags the day we checked out. Excellent breakfast. We will definitely stay again and recommend highly.
Cons: Everything perfect apart from no free parking during the day but the owner was quick to suggest cheap parking nearby.

Pros: Very nice and modern design of the rooms. Building looks as if it has been renovated lately. We were welcomed by some sparkling wine. For us, the minibar was inclusive. Very friendly staff, very good location.
5.8 Okay
Pros: location beside train station and rooms were stylish
Cons: I was conned on breakfast charge. I did not select a breakfast at booking and on arrival stated that I had to check out early. On check out they said that I would be charged for breakfast although no breakfast until 9:00 am and blamed the mix up on my language barrier. I had to rush to catch a train and did not want to have an argument but I am very angry as 9:00am is too late for a business breakfast. Will not stay there again and may use a different booking site in future. I even emailed them after I was home but they would not reply.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel. Friendly staff, luxury rooms and good to have a mini bar & coffee in the room. Also clean rooms and not noisy area. There is also a garden. We come back!
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location modern clean and trendy! Lovely rooms and
Cons: Everything is selfservice and the staff is remote. If this is the case then things need to go smoothly which they did not. The garage keys were not in place there was noone to help upon departure. All in all I would give Julien a 9,5 but for this.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to station and center, located in a very beautiful, historical building. The room was luxurious and modern. With an amazing bathroom, good beds and free goodies in the room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would surely stay here again!

Pros: Fantastic location and very friendly staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager was able to keep the lines of communication open with me as there were last minute changes to my travel. This made me feel very secure with this hotel. With an injury to my ankle she personally carried my bags all the way to the top floor by stairs to my room for me. Who does this? I will always stay at this hotel on visit to the area. It is also very close to transportation shops and restaurants.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, which was demonstrated in his personal way of communicating and giving advices for sightseeings. In terms of service couldn’t have been better. Location is perfect. It’s in the city center. If you open your door, you literally walk into the streets as we had a ground-floor room. Rooms are beautifully designed, and very clean. Breakfast is truly amazing. The combination of the above has made our stay a great vacation which we have enjoyed. I didn’t expect such a great stay for this money. Definitely recommended. This is a hotel you shouldn’t worry if you should take this one or another. Just take this one. You will not regret.
Cons: The coffee machine didn’t work. We noticed afterwards that it was us who couldn’t find the “on”-button. Lol.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Right in the centre close to restaurants and pubs. Nice cosy and spacious room and friendly people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is very close to the train station (perfect location, quite during night time). Excellent to have own kitchen (you can find everything for cooking) Clean, nice breakfast, very helpful owner.
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location, nice staff, decent breakfast with high quality foods.
Cons: Charming overall aesthetic, location and staff. This though is not a hotel so much as a set of Airbnb-type apartments where they hand you a tray of nice breakfast. Carpet was clean but stained and covered entire floor including kitchen. Dishes/cutlery with 4 of everything, some times 2, so if you are there for a few days you will wash some dishes. Decent cookware but no sharp knife, only butter knives. Shower drain was slow and overflowed, and we could not find anyone around to help. Here though is the major issue. Our room was quite hot (and we weren't there on the heatwave days, can't imagine). The sun shines directly into the room all afternoon until late sunset and no cross-ventilation. The room overlooked an interior courtyard where other hot guests drank and chatted, including one group at 2:45am upon returning from the bars, where they continued to drink out of the large refrigerator full of beer and wine the hotel supplies on the honor system. So our sleeping choice was close the windows and roast, or open them and be part of the noisy 3am party. At $200 a night this is totally unacceptable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic and staff very accommodating
Cons: The stairs were very steep (although we found this everywhere in Holland)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was fantastic in a beautiful city. The staff provided a service over and above expectations!
Cons: N/a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff. Manager couldn’t do enough for us. The location is amazing and lovely and clean and comfy beds
Cons: Nothing. We loved it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just perfect for our needs. In a great location. Rooms lovely a spacious. Beds really comfortable. Great facilities and the staff were more than happy to help/provide for our needs.
Cons: Only thing I would change is the kettle, you can see the lime scale as its a glass kettle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location allowed me to explore the city fully without living next to the noisiest parts. It was a short walk to grocery, shopping and many outdoor/indoor restaurant strips. The en suite breakfast exceeded expectations as did the quality of the kitchen, bathrooms and bed. The staff was always available to help with suggestions or questions and you can feel that they love their city!
Cons: I would have used a “do not disturb” sign or something of that sort to skip room cleaning each day because I enjoy sleeping in late if I’m up late.
Bed & Breakfast Achter de Kan - 's-Hertogenbosch - Building
7
9.4 Excellent (287 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was super nice, friendly, we could ask anything she was more than happy to help! The breakfast was more than enough, more types of food, it was lovely and delicious :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The wonderful hospitality and dedicated service from our check-in lady Laurianne and housekeeper Gemma! Our beds were very comfortable, the room clean and stylish and the morning breakfast was very well laid-out. It's a very cute and stylish B&B, just minutes from the main thoroughfare where you will find clothes shops, gift shops, very nice grocery shops and more!
Cons: The booking.com listing mentioned 'free parking', however this is unfortunately not the case. We had to park our car some 10 minutes away for EU 45 for our stay. It would be better to mention payable parking instead of free. Saying that Laurianne was very sweet and paid for us for 1 hour whilst we unloaded, so her service was very good :)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: the room was really nice together with the possibility to use the kitchen and the stuff from the kitchen. I liked the idea to be a little bit independent in a hotel.
Cons: nothing

Pros: The owner is just lovely, she was very kind with us and gave us all the information we needed. She really cares about her guests and her b&b, which is perfect in every detail. Our room was cosy, comfortable and super clean. Last but not least, at breakfast we were spoiled with fresh made orange juice, pancakes and other delicious food. Too bad we only stayed for one night!

Pros: We stayed in the blue room for our wedding night and it was beautifully decorated! I would recommend it to everyone!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast (with lots of variety) was very appreciated as was the special beverage and chocolate! The hosts (even though very busy) took time to greet us warmly and ask for any requests we might have. The room was large and very clean as was the bed! The bathroom was a spa with a soaker tub and rain shower and travel size lotion! The location was easy walking distance to the train station and to many fabulous restaurants. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the very private balcony and access to the suite was so easy with the provided door code!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location between the centre and the train station. Stylish design. Nespresso and a good selection of teas. Both bathtub and shower. Rich and varied breakfast.
Cons: Heating in the bathroom. Hangers for coats / trousers. They changed my towels every day, despite my asking not to do it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The style and spaciousness of the room, the cleanliness, the way it was decorated, the little extra's in the room... Location is perfect, few minutes walk from the train station and very close to the city center. It's very easy to get into the building and room with the code sent beforehand and we loved the coffeeshop downstairs! Will definitely be back!!!
Cons: Really, there was nothing not to like. We were a little bit disappointed when breakfast wasn't complete, but this turned out to be a misunderstanding and was made up to us with a refund and discount voucher. Thank you MonQui Boutique Hotel!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was very satisfactory and the cleanness of the room and bathroom was perfect. The breakfast basket was very nice and sufficient.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location and lovely room.
Cons: Just need some extras in the bathroom like sink soap and face cloths for the shower
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, my room had a huge nice bathroom with tub and shower, and a big comfy bed. Overall it was a great space. Breakfast was juice and such left out for the guests in a fridge / pantry in the hall with some nice touches that make it seem like they really care about their guests.
Cons: I was super confused when I arrived late in the day, since it is basically a couple rooms above a shop and offices which were all closed up and no one around. I didn't realize there was an email sent to me previously with code to get in the door. It would be nice if they add a note to the listing outlining the above, I checked all the hotel info again and didn't see any mention of this or that it doesn't have a standard reception (it's more similar to an apartment rental but I didn't know that from the listing).

Pros: The location of the hotel was in the square and close to all facilities available

Pros: Looks very simple from outside but the rooms are nice and bathrooms better than expected. Good shower with very warm water. Coffee in the room. And new bottles of water every day. Not far from station or centrum. Comfortable big bed.
Cons: Asked for a quiet room, got a room towards a club that closed at 03.30...

Pros: We were there to see Bimmerfest. It's small hotel, but family friendly. we booked family room for 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 12 y.o), it suit for us.The staff were very friendly. the bed were queen size and bunkbed. although the room located on the ground floor, and the window facing the street, it was really quite. breakfast were good. and at night there were free milk, coffee and tea at the restaurant, self service. The hotel located about 15 minutes by relax walk from the train station and city centre, but the view were wonderful. besides the hotel, there were restaurant, it was also delicious food. Too bad we only stayed 1 night in this city

Pros: Joop made us very welcome, and provided a good breakfast.
4.3 Okay
Pros: staff were polite, and it was in a quiet location.
Cons: It was fairly dingey, not spotless. Can't understand the owners allowing basic lack of cleanliness and neatness - some lights not working; holes in the sheets; walls quite stained; reception area was by the back entrance with a messy carpet (stomach-churning!) and supplies stored by the only stairs. If it was a youth hostel, I would expect it to be as it was. The only room left available for me was €111 per night excuding breakfast. Not worth it!!!
7.7 Good
Pros: Nice comfy hotel in the centre of town and close to main station. The staff was very friendly and the room was big and clean.
6.0 Good
Cons: Rooms quite noisy ! Hotel is simple, plain one. Not too luxurious, but fair for the price.
7.0 Good
Pros: free use of internet, large bathroom, basic coffee/tea making facilities and walking distance to the centre.
Cons: Room was a little cramped and the breakfast was expensive so we did not have it, however the overall experience was very good.
5.3 Okay
Pros: the bed was very comfortable
Cons: the hotel staff did not speak english and there is a chance i got charged twice for my stay. The heat in the room could not be turned off and it was extremely hot in the room all night, i couldn't sleep.

6.8 Good
Pros: The personnel was friendly and were willing to help when issues arose. Breakfast is handled efficiently and with a smile. Sufficient choice of the breakfast spread.
Cons: The airco is no airco, as it is blowing a minimal amount of cold air when you have it on max and max cold. When a room is populated by 2 people, you need to make sure there are 2 big and 2 small towels. Why did I have ask for it on two different occasions?
6.8 Good
Pros: Meals were delicious ... if they arrived at the table.
Cons: Restaurant staff, both in the kitchen and at the table were hopelessly untrained in food delivery and customer service. Food orders getting lost between the table and the kitchen, poor communication between kitchen and table staff and indifference to customers complaints.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable
9.3 Excellent
Pros: nice breakfast location fine ,
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast at the Moevenpick is exceptional and well worth the price. They have a large selection of cold meats, cheese, eggs, bacon, muesli...the works. They also serve their own brand jam which is not so sickly sweet as the jams you find in the supermarkets. The honey comes in its comb form; so delicious. The hotel is located in a quiet area which I prefer; the rooms are immaculate. They have various language TV channels available, especially German which is great for me (being German). Whilst on business I have stayed there 4 times and keep returning for above reasons. Highly recommend it.
Cons: One little thing that I don't like are the old water kettles in the rooms. It's the kind where you have to unplug and take it to the sink - with the cable - to fill it up. Twice I had kettles that didn't turn themselves off; so I had to watch them. Because they're fairly old kettles it takes considerably longer to heat the water, even for just one cup. So really Moevenpick, it's time to replace those... Other than that there is nothing that I didn't like.

Pros: Cheerful team members
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was top
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and proper hotel. Good breakfast. Nice location with P+R Transferium close by.
Cons: Sauna was under maintenance. At the end of breakfast people in need take left overs of fresh food. This is a very good and noble concept however paying guests are still eating as well. It would be better to do this out of sight of the hotel guests.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was near the meeting place that I had to go to
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable and our room was available before the official check-in time. Parking at the Park and Ride around the corner gives you a lot of value for money. Nearly everything this hotel provides is of good quality and the little extras like a choice of pillows and refreshing free drinks in the lobby add a nice touch. I like the hotel's environment friendly approach, like the eco bath towels.
Cons: Just one thing: the shower curtain clinging to my legs, just can't stand that. And we were charged for the hotel's parking without being asked if we had used it. We didn't pay, of course.

Pros: The hotel is great. The food is fantastic. The hotel arranged a taxi to go to a concert, all perfect in time. The breakfasts is really good, more than enough choice. All in all a great stay
Cons: It was a warm night. The only things we missed was a fan or airconditioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and clean.
Cons: The open plan bathroom was a little odd for a twin room. Myself and my travelling companion would both have preferred a little more privacy. Breakfast was expensive.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was fantastic, very spacious and peaceful. Evening meal in the restaurant was very good. We'll be back next year.
Cons: Breakfast was a little expensive.
6.8 Good
Pros: Evening meal and breakfast were good. Room was spacious and comfortably furnished. It was quiet and the bed was roomy and comfortable so slept well.
Cons: Room had some maintenance issues which were reported on checkout. TV was a little too high on the wall and a bit small for the size if the room. Room was in an annex and meant walking across an unlit car park to get to the main building. Needs a covered walkway. Restaurant was large and open to non residents, so was rather noisy. Only thing heard from the background music was some irritating bass tones.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel in a lovely little village with good links to the main roads

4.3 Okay
Cons: I know it was a budget hotel but the room had wardrobe or even a chair. Bathroom was tiny you could barely turn round and there no extractor so there was constant damp and fousty smell all the time in bedroom. I also asked for a guiet room but unfortunately there was a shop right below us with opening hours of 16oo to 0400 hours which was used by drunks who shouted and argued there was even a fight one night. I think I have stated how our holiday was ruined and my wife who is 69 and I am 70 could not wait to leave this hotel an d go home.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice decoration, lovely view
Cons: The check in didn’t work properly via the iPad
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for money. Great location on the majestic avenue leading from the central train station into the old town. Very comfortable bed with crispy cotton bed linen. I asked for a quiet room and was given a room on the top floor on the back, which meant no noise at all. Friendly service, albeit by phone only as the house is completely self contained including a self check-in & out. In-room coffee and tea making facilities as well as a small fridge allow for self catering a breakfast in bed.
Cons: Our room was fairly small, which was ok, if it didn’t also face a dead wall at barely 1 meter through the roof window. Also, there was nowhere to unpack our suitcases, other than three cloth hangers on a bar.
6.8 Good
Pros: Excellent location, easy self service check in and nice design
Cons: The room is decorated with velvet curtains and thick duvet with no A/C but a tiny fan. I stayed in July and the room was a furnace. It would have been nice like other hotels if they left the window open or kept the fan running when guest are expected to come so that they could find an acceptable temperature condition. I could not leave the window open because it is facing the train station so there is street noise. I left the fan running so that I would not find the room temperature unbearable again but the cleaning lady would switch it off. The only way to sleep was to wet towels and sleep on them for air.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, easy check in, excellent bed and nice room
Cons: NA
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to the station and the centre is only a short walk. Cafes are close by for breakfast.
Cons: The room was tiny and hot. The heat was better once I worked out how to open the window (not easy to reach). There’s no lift and the stairs are very shallow and steep. Not good for elderly people or heavy suitcases. The bed was ok but the mattress topper kept sliding off the mattress which made it necessary to keep adjusting the bed. My room on the top floor was definitely not suitable for two people, barely enough room for one and there was hardly any floor space to put a suitcase and little hanging space. All in all not worth the price. I wouldn’t stay here again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean, comfortable bed, room was a little warm at night. Very close to station. Breakfast in coffee shop below was amazing
Cons: Bathroom in our room (8) was so small, impossible to sit on loo comfortably with door closed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I know the area quite well. The location of the hotel is very convenient because it is a few steps away from the railway station and a short walk to the closest supermarket and the heart of the city.
Cons: No remarks. Everything was as I expected it. I was pleased with the stay and the convenience. I will definitely recommend it to colleagues and friends. No further comments.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed and pillows, good shower with essentials, enough recharging points, free Netflix, free tea and coffee, fridge, digital reception, nice and clean feel, great location.
Cons: It gets very hot in the hotel and in the room. But there's a fan in the room and there's a big window. Since everything works digitally, there's no option to check in earlier if your room happens to be ready, or to leave your bags while you explore. Mind you, no free parking anywhere in the center. At least there station's garage parking is less than 5 minutes away.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean rooms and convenient location
Cons: Lack of aircondition

Pros: Really beautiful appartment next to a canal, french doors (should be lovely during summer). Very helpfull staff with our luggage problems (they missed our flight). Stylish and clean appartment, nice decor, great location with plenty of restaurants just around the corner. Good Wifi. Nice gas burning fireplace to give a great atmosphere and warmth.
Cons: We never did get an answer to our two questions on possibiliy for late checkout, but that was the only negative aspect of our stay.
6.8 Good
Pros: The bath and fireplace in the room
Cons: Outdated music installation only applicable for iphone3...
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Good space and modern setting
Cons: Noisy surrounding. There was a party until late night and we werent informed of such an event. It was our anniversary and we could have gone for a nicer place if we knew about the noise.

Pros: Great location, everything on walking distance. Friendly staff and fabulous rooms!,
Cons: To leave
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hosts
Cons: too short
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I was on a motorbike and had secure parking behind agate which was very useful. I was situated away from the main hotel but was in the centre of the town. I thought that the staff were friendly and helpful. It was explained how all the equipment such as the TV and gas/wood burner worked.
Cons: Because the place I was staying was away from the main hotel I had to work my way around the streets of the town to get to it. As it was my first time at this location i got lost a couple of times even though I had been given a map with directions and travel routes. But got there in the end and worth it.

Cons: Not much to dislike except could hear a lot of banging and stomping from the room above

Cons: Difficult parking
6.3 Good
Pros: The owner was very welcoming and helpful, The hotel is situated in the heart of the town with a lovely atmosphere. It is a wonderful old building with very high ceiling and unique decor.
Cons: This hotel is lovely, some simple changes could make it so much better, especially considering the price. The bed was extremely hard and could do with a new mattress as I think its about 30 years old, The light switch was broken, revealing the electrics where the switch should have been. The shower room was not attached to the bedroom and meant you had to go on to the shared landing to get to it, somebody kept using the toilet in it instead of using their own?? Tea and coffee is provided but could do with it being in your room. The TV was tiny, not something that is needed but always good to be able to see it. The room had heaters but still felt fairly cold. Lots of clean but old bedding, just needs a little over haul and then it would be perfect.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The bedrooms were very comfortable, unique and interesting . Beautiful art work, and friendly atmosphere. Really nice host
Cons: All was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A B&B like no other I’ve visited before! Great location and the room with terrace was amazing. The owners have spent a lot of effort into their B&B and that shows. The terrace (belonging to the room) is a little get-away in the evenings with a bottle of wine and the heat from the heaters. Sitting outdoors in the early morning sunshine with a cup of coffee is always a winner. We will definitely revisit next time we’re in Den Bosch.

Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms, historical building, great garden, good breakfast
Cons: My room was very warm even on a very moderate summerday. Small windows made it difficult to ventilate. I understood airconditioning installation is planned but dependent on regulations for monumental buildings
8.0 Excellent
Pros: nice and comfertable
Cons: Only missing a television
7.0 Good
Pros: The price was reasonable, the staff is good and close to the nearby shops.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This was a very nice stay - friendly staff (hotel with a purpose - educating youngsters!), super food around the clock (breakfast, lunch, borrel and dinner), perfect location, nice rooms with tiny design details - take a walk or run around the nearby lake in the morning, also recommendable. Only minus point: Saturday night it was rather noisy outside the building with drunken people shouting and vomiting in front of our windows (we had booked two rooms - both were affected)..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel garden was perfect to have dinner and breakfast. You can have a relaxing moment even when you have three small monsters around since they can play in a sandbox or run around safely. Also the location was perfect. You can easily walk to the city center and at the same time you have a big beautiful park just beside. In the park there are some animals and a splendid playground; so perfect for tiny ones!
Cons: The lamp in the bathroom did not function. It went on and off. The restaurant food is mediocre. But if the garden is available there is enough to compensate the quality of the food.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice setting in a former 1930 monastery with a lot of original interbellum architectural elements still in place. Close to the city centre (10 min walk). Very good restaurant.
Cons: Shower without screen in the bathroom.
Overview Reviews
At the foot of the Saint Jan Cathedral in 's-Hertogenbosch we find the comfortable Best Western Plus City Centre Hotel Den Bosch (formerly known as Best Western Eurohotel). This hotel offers not only personal hospitality and comfortable rooms with bath, shower, commode, color television and telephone, but also car parking facilities for a small fee, in the indoor garage. Of course, your meeting or conference can be perfectly combined with a visit to the old, Burgundian city Den Bosch with its many inns, pubs, grand cafés and restaurants. Den Bosch is also the ideal base for local trips to theme parks such as De Efteling Fun Park, Beekse Bergen safari park, the Autotron traffic park or a fun boat trip to the old city Heusden. Enjoy your stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Being in the middle of a lively town; having a good bar, very good and friendly service. Great!⁷Couple
Cons: Nothing
5.5 Okay
Pros: The location is great, in the city centre. Den Bosch is a lovely and lively place. There are other hotels that are better value for money than this one.
Cons: The hotel seems to be a combination of two hotels. The entrance looks pleasant but the room we got was disappointing to say the least, at the far end, above a shopping street and in the older part of the hotel. There were many quieter rooms, but we were given a very basic room with poor/broken window hinges and locks. So the noise from city visitors going home after having enjoyed a drink was extremely loud en went on until 4am. A better window situation could have dampened the noise. We closed the windows but without airconditioning the room became warm and stuffy. An uncomfortable night in a city we love. We usually stay elsewhere, just a street away and will do so again next time.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is the winner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with its own parking. Friendly staff and very efficient. Good breakfast selection.
Cons: The bathroom was rather cramped.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, friendly staff, beautiful room with comfy beds!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was good, nice restaurants near by. Warm welcome from reception. Relieved to find a decent hairdryer in the wardrobe; if there was only the one on the bathroom wall, I'd have had to go and buy one. The tea/coffee tray in the bedroom was well stocked on day one (never fully replenished after that though). Bathroom toiletries were nice too (although not replenished either).
Cons: Air con in the room was useless; we didn't realise it was going to be a portable unit with a hose to the window (next to the staff smoking area, who seem to start smoking and talking loudly around 5am) and only cooled a limited area around it (unable to move it closer to the bed), so the room was unpleasantly hot and smelled faintly of cigarettes, & made it difficult to sleep in the summer heat, before the 5am wake up chatter outside the window makes it impossible.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: lovely friendly staff overall but particularly the gentleman who checked us in and even thanked us for staying in their hotel when checking out today which was a lovely touch and something you dont hear very often these days. wifi good aircon a bonus excellent soft comfy bed nice programmed hot shower fab location
Cons: this is not a criticism of the hotel as i understand housekeeping must take place. however the staff appeared to start very early and we could hear noise outside our room at 8am..staff preparing to do bedrooms etc which woke me several mornings. We were on holidays, not there for business so a little early to wake when not working.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our room. The bed was so comfortable and every member of staff was very friendly and attentive.
Cons: If I have to find fault, a small fridge in our room would have been great. Otherwise, I loved everything.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were wonderful, everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The location is great.
Cons: Nothing, we loved our stay.
