The location is a good walk outside the centre of Aegina (although we managed it comfortably with cases). The walk in to the town is worth while as it is fantastic and the taxi back at night was only 5 euro. great view of the ancient ruins and rugged coastline. The pool was excellent as were the standard of the rooms.
Breathtaking view from our balcony over the pool and of the sunset over the Saronic Gulf. No elevator...not a big problem...they were very helpful with luggage.
View from the hotel. Location area. No
view and area two weddings held two nights in row during stay awake too late with loud music
Very nice and clean hotel with nice view in a wonderful island
Pretty good location and rokms were clean and well-maintained. Would have been good to have a mini-bar filled at least with water. Breakfast was adequate but no more.
Perhaps it was because of the time of year, early October, and its location out of town that contributed to the peace and quiet which was much appreciated. The view from our room was superb and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The shower cubicle was too small, elbows banged on each panel, and there was no fitting on the wall for the shower head; one had to improvise
friendly staff plus swimming pool buffet breakfast could perhaps been more varied
The view of the sea, the beautiful grounds, the excellent location, the great service, the nice room with balcony, the great breakfast, and the friendly staff were all outstanding. No complaints. Everything was great.
Owners and staff gave the best service and were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel is small and quaint and in a great location. Within walking distance of Aegina Town and some historic sites. We had a wonderful seaside view and was given a larger room since we were celebrating our anniversary. It was our first time to Greece and it gave us a wonderful impression. The hotel has a wonderful pool, bar and beautiful outdoor seating. The room had wonderful marble tiles in the bathroom and marvelous tile floors. The owners are family owned and we felt like we were part of the family. We were originally booked for 3 nights but extended our stay for 5 nights.
Nice freiendly staff, helpfull. Quiet and relaxing only 10-12 min from centrum. Nice, big rooms with view to the sea. Very nice breakfast. Some few dishes to be served for lunsj and easy dinner. No dinner meny at this time of the year. It is a pleasure to recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back here when visitin Aegina. No
Nothing Although a small village hotel they were extremely stricked about the departure hour.
Lovely hotel, extremely clean, kind and friendly staff. View to the sea magnificent.
Clean rooms, kind staff, tasty and varied breakfast
The staff is delightful and wonderfully helpful. The rooms are very nice and most have lovely views. The breakfast was tasty and the breakfast room is spacious and airy. The pool and outdoor facilities/landscaping are great. It's a little bit of a hike out of the main part of town. But the taxi service is very good and not too expensive.
the hotel is fine with good service and and nice big swimming pool
Pleasent and helpful staff, very nice pool
The staff were very friendly. The proximity to the beach was good (only 5 minutes walk to furthest/nicest part of the beach). The views from our rooms were brilliant. The breakfast was good. The pool was just right for a dip but not very big.
Family run, Friendly and very Helpful
Maria and her daughter were very welcoming. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space and the kitchenette was very useful as we had our breakfasts on our balcony.
Superbly run and I had a brilliant stay.
The hotel was close to Skala Port, and the cleaning ladies were very kind and sweet. Cleaner swimming pool, better breakfast, improve bathroom facilities (had problems with shower and the toilet), the owner of hotel must improve her people skills as she was very rude and indeferent, and the hotel does not have a complaint box as much as I could notice.
The room (a superior one in the extension) had a little terrace, which was nice to sit out on after a day on the beach. The staff were friendly and attentive. It is just a few minutes walk to the beach and there are a number of good restaurants within walking distance. Although the room had a kitchenette, there was almost no crockery or utensils - the room I was in had only one glass and no cups or plates! I suspect that broken or stolen items are just not replaced. Things were different when I stayed here last year. Then there was a really nice buffet breakfast, which has now been replaced by a set breakfast that is identical every day. I suspect the hotel is not doing the business it once was, which is sad.
Maria the owner was very helpful with information and responsive over email in advance of the visit (1) the rooms were only cleaned every other day this is unusual and not what you expect from a hotel (2) additional charge was made eg for butter at breakfast which were excessive to say the least given that prices for food already seemed high
Peacefulness; location; unintrusive; owner's welcome and care on arrival;
I liked everything with the hotel. We were there on our homeymoon, got the honeymoon suit with an amacing view to the sea. Staff was extreamly friendly and helpfull and the food in the hotel resturant was the best we eat our entire trip.
The food and drink was very reasonably priced The weather was aweful, so limited us to what we could do.
Due to the position of the hotel, you could hear the sound of the sea in the night- which I found very relaxing
Johnny, was wonderful. I would stay there again. He's a great host..much better that the holiday inn at Athens. wc is small but it works , so no problem really..
the owner - the nearness of the beach -
Friendly stuff. very clean. good location close to the beach, shopping and resturnts. best value for the money. Maria and John and always happy to help and do the best for their guests.
The service was perfect. A very good value for money. I highly recomend this hotel.
Hotel staff - Very kind and care, old rooms.
Location, so close to the beach and only a quick bus ride to the village of Aghia Marina.
the hotel has a good situation in the center of the station the personnel is very nice rooms and bathrooms are really too small
I liked very much the warm hospitality of Yiannis and Maria who went out of their way to make us feel at home. They even provided us with books to read while there since we forgot ours....
very nice hotel, nice staff, calm and relaxing, friendly.good value for the money. perfect view over the sea. nice pool and poolbar
staff very nice, good situation quiet and lovely island
Everything was good, the staff was great really kind and happy persons. Clean rooms ,clean pool. hmm like a recomendation..include breakfast in rate, as other hotels do.
Convenient access to Hydrofoil; quiet location; sea views; good walking close by.
Run by a very nice and friendly family. i would reccomend it to evrybody.
The island of Agistri was beautiful, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, there was a lot to do - it was cheap and the weather was fantastic.
Everything about the room was ok, everything working, clean and tidy. Nothing wrong with the hotel, the island was not worth visiting though...
Lovely hotel, good food and sweets, excelent wiew, friendly family that runs the hotel. A place you want to come back to.
i like the location room cleaning
The swimming pool and all the exterior The bathroom
Miss Senia is very good, willing to help you. The location is relatively close to the main road and the beach but the road to return is uphill. We fortunately rent a bike. kitchen, bathroom complete renovation
It was a very nice studio (self-catering with two cooking plates) with a swimming pool, lovely people, quiet environment, close to the beach, room was cleaned every day the shower was not optimal, no decent curtains
It was close to the beach (3 minutes walk),and to the main street. No car parking available.
The hotel was quiet and conveniently close to the main town for shopping and eating out. The pool was too small and not for children as it was very deep.
Very economical, close to the beach ( 5 minutes walk), bars and restaurants. Very quiet at night.
nice friendly owners. lovely clean apartment.
Hotel is situated up-hill from the beach. Not recommended for elderly or persons with walking dissabillitis.
The cost was very reasonable, and we didn't want for anything. Both beach, bars and the ancient site were all within a short walk. Last evening was spent watching the sun set behind the Temple of Afea, which is 20mins walk away, fantastic!
It was very much a family atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and helpful, a home away from home, without being in your face. It is incrediably good value for money for a completely DIY holiday. The beach and tavernas are only 5 minutes walk away, yet you are in a quite road that you can relax in. The famous temple of Afea is a climb up the hill nearly straight behind you. This was our second stay, and I'd definately use it again if I'm returning to Aegina, the place is really good for relaxation.
Good location, friendly and honest staff. Lovely island. According to the Greece tourism dept it's actually a one star hotel not three.
Beautiful location Room a bit small
Excellent hotel with brilliant view. Very high personal service. Clean hotel with excellent food. Very helpfull staff.
Close to the beach, near to the port of Skala village (3min by foot) not enough staff, very small rooms, we had to change a room because of reservation's system problems
The sea view The owner was neither efficient nor friendly. The room was poorly furbished and the bathroom poorly finished.
Good location Room was described as a two bedroomed apartment and it wasn't. We originally booked for 14 nights and checked out after one. There was only one air conditioning despite us asking about there being one in each 'bedroom'. The second bedroom was a lounge come kitchen come bedroom (sofa bed with no bedding provided until we asked) with no air con. The stove did not work. There was no hot water. It was noisy with the hotel next door playing loud music until the early hours.
Friendly and helpful staff Toilet flush not working for 3 days.one light not working.room cleaned 0nce during week.had to ask for toilet paper.one light poor conection so flickered.no kettle or cups.not enough sockets so it was tv or fridge.no glass in toilet.
Hotel is at the beach, wich is wery nice and has their own umbrelas and sunbeds. Also near the vilige and veary quet. We had a nice stay.
only location as it was near the beach. everything ,
Administrator of the Isidora Hotel is considerate to the visitors. A kitchen in room is very small and not fully complicated for using this room as a standard studio.
friendly manager...closer to beach than i thought it was water pressure in shower not very strong
Friendly staff, convenient location and clean accommodation. Access to the internet was useful. The breakfast lacked substance and variety but otherwise no complaints.
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is nice situated. There was sometimes no hot water in the evening and - because we had the rom to the street-the room was very noisy at night.
Everything you need for the little money. Owners are very nice persons
Booking was easy Quality was not as expected
easy to find, clean and tidy
I stayed at a quiet period, and the staff genuinely tried to make my stay pleasurable - nothing was too much trouble. It pays to learn a little Greek in advance.
staff unobtrusive but friendly and always willing to help. cleaning staff in room every day to remove rubbish and wash floors and change sheets every other day. for a 2 star hotel it was exceptionally clean and great value for money. ive stayed in 4 star hotels less clean ! absolutely no complaints.
