Pros:The staff was very friendly and helpfull ( Claire and Maktum in Geneve!). It was not clear to me that my reservation would be ended after two hours after pick-up time. So there was no car reservated anymore. Both Claire and Maktum were very helpfull in finding a similar car. It took a while because of some technical problems with the first choice, but after all it was a very comfortable and reliable car.
Cons:The fact that my reservation was not extended till my plane has arrived, but I didn't know that that should heve been indicated or phoned in advance.
At the end of a long day of travel, I had lost my passport and couldn't pick up the car. We proposed to change the rental to my travel companion's name and use his passport. Alamo could not edit the Expedia car reservation and was inflexible and unaccommodating, offering only an alternate rental for 4x the original price. I called Expedia and they said they could not edit *their own reservation*. I asked for a refund from Expedia which they bounced to Alamo. Alamo refused, and Expedia now says they can't do anything. I will never use Alamo or Expedia ever again, and I will strongly discourage anyone if I hear they're thinking of using them.
Cons:The Alamo company recognized the website made the error - but would not honor our reservation and told us we had to talk to the website company - it was not their problem
Pros:Staff was super friendly, pleasant and accommodating. Our car was slightly too small, they went out of their way to find us another one that was big enough. Will definitely go back there next time!
Cons:There apparently is a French and Swiss side to the airport with car rentals at both places. The French side is smaller with less car but maybe a better deal. I rented a small suv because I was going skiing. They did not have that car but they “upgraded” me two classes to a luxury wagon without AWd. It worked for this trip but was not what I wanted. Also, the road signs and gps are not clear how to get back to the French side. We almost missed our plane. Found it by accident and not following what the signs would indicate
Pros:Staff was excellent and Gregory was super helpful with directions, etc. Customer service was the best.

Cons:They tried to make me buy unneeded insurance and I had to get the manager on the phone before they will let me take the car.
Pros:Drop off was very convenient. Car was very clean.
Cons:Pick up inspection made us feel like we would be responsible for bugs on the windshield (not literally, but that was the impression. Overkill).

Cons:Location in the French side although was supposed to be in Swiss. We had to buy the Swiss highway pass. Couldn’t contact the company to inform about our flight delay and they cancelled our reservation.
Pros:Friendly stuff and very nice and clean car. No issues for my entire trip.
