Pros. It was near where we wanted to be.
Cons. We were in town to run a marathon. Almost immediately after we checked in there was an attempted fraudulent charge on our credit card. We talked to another runner staying at the hotel who had the exact same thing happen- same attempted purchase, same amount. The only commonality we had was this hotel. Also, the hallways were full of loud people at late hours. Our overall experience was horrible. This hotel should not be in business.
Pros. Location in relation to my business obligation.
Cons. Roaches! I had to sleep with the lights on in fear of seeing how infested the room really was. Witnessed (5) roaches in total, most of which hide behind the baseboards and behind furniture. If 0 was an opinion, I would have selected it instead of the denoted 1 stars. I will be avoiding the Araamda Inn moving forward as a result of this experience.
Pros. The receptionist was friendly and professional.
Cons. The inn was terrible. All ac was turned off in the building to perserve money or it was broken. The room was humid and muggy. Floors were sticky. The bathroom had dead fleas around the sink. Only the ac in the room worked which had a funky smell. Elevators didnt work. I would have been angry if had to endure more than just sleeping but it was mainly a short overnight just to get by.
Pros. The place was just remodeled. New floring (no carpet), new tv, and new bed. The place has modern feel.
Cons. There are things that don't match with the modern style (table and chairs). The bath was not remodeled, it was painted but you can see the marks in two tiles were they had some screws.
