9.6 Excellent
Pros: The whole ambience of the place
Cons: It was a bit of a walk into town
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious modern rooms.
Cons: Cafe/ bar was a bit expensive and some of the staff disinterested.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super hotel located about a kilometer from the town itself. Breakfast offered just about everything one could wish for! The restaurant at night was a revelation , great Spanish food prepared with thought and imagination using excellent ingredients. The chef deserves some applause here! The staff were all friendly and helpful, a good team!
Cons: Alcaniz as the town itself didnt offer much , but our visit wasnt for that.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was splendid.
Cons: Problems with air conditioner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very large & spacious Hotel, immaculate throughout with an excellent cafeteria attached. Conveniently located for the MotoGp
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Warm & comfortable. Vast selection of food on offer for breakfast. Staff very friendly, helpful & English speaking.
Cons: No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, maybe the letter writing & other free items could be replaced with tea/coffee etc. The restaurant did not open this particular evening but we were accommodated in the cafeteria. Late opening of restaurant at 8.30pm
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a business hotel with emphasis on efficiency rather than romance. It's not located near the sights so you need your car to visit the city center (2 km). The restaurant in the hotel was surprisingly very good. Breakfast was plentiful but hot things have been sitting on the buffet if you come in late.
Cons: I am always stunned by the lack of a good size shelf in the bathroom and a hook or two.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: We LOVED being in a tower room, with two full baths, a bedroom upstairs and a lovely sitting room. Also loved the ambience in general of this well preserved castle. The common rooms were lovely, bedding old and new. We really felt like we were living among history.
Cons: The food n the dining room at dinner was ok. We were there at a very slow time (February) so it was understandably pretty empty in the dining room. Our server wasn’t particularly friendly but more importantly, our dinners tasted a bit warmed up.

Pros: Nice local products selection buffet breakfast Nice atmosphere with beautiful decorated salons and old Terra Cotta vases and pots
Cons: christmas decoration could have been a bit more pronounced and more tastefull
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Parador de Alcaniz is located at the top of a hill in an old castle/monastery. There are some remaining castle/monastery characteristics (although access to the tower was closing when we got there). We had a very nice room with a great view. There was a casual, less-expensive cafe-bar which we took advantage of for dinner.
Cons: I don't know how typical it is but we experienced heavy traffic to get to the Parador de Alcaniz. Dinner and breakfast were a bit pricey and alternative restaurants are down the hill which we didn't feel comfortable navigating in the dark - possibly a sign of getting old!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything.
Cons: The only thing is that restaurant in the hotel was a bit pricy. But that’s nothing to do with hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the fact that the hotel was set in an old Spanish castle. The views from the room were magnificent. The room itself was very clean and relatively modern. The hotel was within walking distance of the local town.
Cons: We were looking forward to having dinner in the hotel's dinning room but it did not open until 8.30pm and we were leaving early the next morning. Instead we had a couple of snacks in the bar with a few drinks, the food was not as good as we thought it would be.
