Pros: A fantastic conversion immaculately executed. A good restaurant although not used much when we were there. Excellent rooms, bar and restaurant. We stayed there as it is adjacent to the bridge of ...
Pros: Wet room, staff
Pros: modern hotel in historical building, nice place to stay
Pros: Beautifully refurbished former convent offering every convenience
Pros: The location was great and the pool was the highlight of our stay. Great birdwatching while just floating around. We were also able to arrange a late check out which made our time there more relaxing.
Cons: The bed was too firm for my old bones.
Pros: Very interesting adaptation of the old convent already used as a mill previously.
Cons: Room in the new block is very claustrophobic , looks like a concrete box with little windows. View to the garbage collection area.
Pros: Great evening meal at reasonable price. Superb spacious room in new block and extremely quiet AC. Breakfast in the flour mill area was excellent and so unusual as regards Vista. Excellent value and ...
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Lovely old building, nice quiet room, helpful staff and good buffet breakfast.
Cons: Air con a little noisy. Also, there were two children's beds stored at the top of a staircase that was supposed to be an emergency exit!
Pros: I loved the location in one of the most interesting places in Extremadora . The hotel was a great place to stay and having the swimming pool was definitely an added plus at the end of the day.
Cons: Not that impressed with the bar service and the food served in the restaurant.
Pros: The property is an old cortijo and full of character. The room was comfortable and the dining room enormous - more like a baronial hall! The owner and staff were very friendly and came out to greet us...
Cons: Our sat nav couldn't find the place. However, it is very much off the beaten track and about 3 miles along a track off the main road but well worth the effort.
Pros: Arrived very late in pouring rain and were served a simple but nice supper in front of an open fire lit for us, lovely country estate, charming rooms, dogs welcome without charge, the lovely dining room was a nice experience at breakfast, we would certainly like to re- visit.
Cons: The mattress protectors gave us an uncomfortable night.
Cons: Only the fact that I had to telephone the hotel to get someone to come to reception, as I had been inside and out shouting for 2 or 3 minutes to no avail. Perhaps a bell or someting may help.
Pros: We loved the tranquility and the friendly staff also the wonderful menu of food that was produced on the farm. The rooms were nicely situated and cosy and the bathrooms were exceptional.
Cons: The 6 kilometre track was a worry for drivers of an ordinary car and really only suitable for 4 x 4 vehicles
Pros: Quite liked the rural quality of the place
Cons: Outside was very untidy. Swimming pool needed cleaning around the outside and never saw the 'skimmers' working. There wasn't a bar and so couldn't get a drink when wanted. Price of food 'menu of the day' was expensive compared to anywhere else I have stayed and the breakfast was a joke, only 1 little piece of toast and a poor cup of coffee.
Pros: Everything! The setting is unique, the staff very attentive and charming, the room was very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished and the food fresh, traditional and excellant value,we did not want to leave!
Cons: The drive up to the hotel is about 6 kilometers of unsurfaced road and you think you are never going to get there but have faith its worth the drive!
Pros: Very isolated and quiet rural hotel. It's inside of a farm, in a typical building that has been partly recovered for the hotel. The staff is very genuine and friendly.
Cons: We've been there in winter and the heating was ok, but I wonder how should it be during the summer without A/C.
Enjoy your visit to Brozas with a stay at Hotel Rural el Vaqueril. After having fun at the outdoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer sofa beds and room service.
Pros: Property met our needs. We were cycle touring from Madrid to Portugal and this was one of the best value properties in town We were met on arrival and allowed to store our bikes in the underground ...
Cons: Nothing significant. Would maybe be good to have a clothes airer / drying rack for use on the balcony.
