Good access to the highway, so can be a cost effective option for business travelers in Nuremberg. Softest pillows I ever had in a hotel, and that includes 5* ones. Also, the bed was very comfy. In general, double room was a great value and even had a balcony with a nice view. Parking was tight at full occupancy, but no problems to park across the street. Very pleasant place overall, feels like a family guesthouse. Would have been nice to have a kettle and a small fridge in the room. No elevator, but stairwell is wide and not too steep. Allersberg itself is in the middle of nowhere, so this is only a good option if you're with a car.
Clean room and friendly staff. Yes, some of the rooms are in other building, when you have to intend breakfast you have to cross street and parking.
Rooms, lack of facilities in the hotel and surrounding town
very clean, very well appointed and good decor.
The kindness from the staff and the breakfast
Very large and comfortable room, very quiet and peaceful
Hotel's situation is excellent, only about 1 km from motorway. Hotel was very nice and clean. The beds were excellent and the room was very comfortable. The service was kindly.
The hotel's location is very good, near the motorway. The hotel is very easy to find. The hotel quit small, but it has two parking areas. The stuff doesn''t speak English so well, only German.
The hotel staff was very friendly and speaks good English and German. The room, even being in another building, was clean and warm. Breakfast was not too rich but just enough.
very friendly personel. VERY clean and orderly. Location perfect with close by and easy access to autobahn, yet still no noise - super hotel for the one night stay during travel.
Good location - Nice and clean . - Excelent breakfirst
The silence, cosesy atmosphere and convenient distance to the Nuremberg messe area
It is very quiet, the people are kind, the dinner is oke,we onjy stayed one night, we had to go to Oostenrijk we did not mind but there is no elevator
The rooms were clean and warm. The area was also quiet. The staff were friendly and spoke English. We stayed in the hotel twice during our trip and found both stays enjoyable.
Location, personal touch, price, room This hotel has also a bakery and the smell of frying oil was overwhelming. You could smell it everywhere.
All was very clean and fresh. Breakfast menu was short, missing of floor heating in the bathroom.
the silence not communicative, far away from any transport connections
Clean, No soap, host sat and watched as we ate, this was very weird. No english.
The hotel and staff could not have been better, especially when we needed to eat in the evening, although they spoke little english, and we very little german. The room was excellently clean, the water extremely hot. The only bad point was the location of the hotel as regards to transport into Nuremberg. Yes, it was a 15 minute train journey, but the station was not easily accessible unless you had transport. Thankfully, Peter, (the owner) kindly drove us to the station each day, and collected us when we returned. However, the 15 minute journey cost an extra 8 euros 60 cents each, each day, and with Allersberg being very quiet with a handful of shops, it was necessary to visit the City daily as there was much more to see and do there. Sadly, no tea and coffee facilities were available in the room.
The room was perfect for our one night stay. Clean, ample room for 2 adults and 3 children. It was nice to have dinner available at the hotel. It was excellent and very reasonably priced. The hotel had easy access to the autobahn. The owners spoke little to no English, but between our English and little Dutch and their German, we didn't really have any problems.
Everything like expected, the owners very kind, room and the park by the hotel nice. Breakfast standard.15min with the car to the Messe. Actually I found the price high, but it was no other option for that time of the fair in the near, which could be cheaper. If we are not in need, sure will not book.
the tranquility of the place Staff does not speak English!!
Staff were very friendly and accommodating Distance from destination (Nuremberg Toy Fair)
Everything was very clean and the size of the rooms was really good.
Really good location, close to Nurnberg and close to the highway (5 minutes by car). Very clean, comfortable hotel for stay for. Recommend! For some reasons, they don't wanted to accept my credit card.
A brand new and exceptionally clean and comfortable hotel - large room. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very well positioned for the trade fair grounds - 15 to 20 minutes drive and no traffic problems. Excellent breakfast. Good value all round. Train station into Nuremberg is a short walk away. No in house restaurant. However, I was directed to an excellent Thai restaurant about 5 minutes drive away,
very nice and helpful staff, easy to reach from motorway, cleanness
all looks proper and modern and clean not enough educated staff (1 person) and breakfast limited offer
Nice, all-new, clean room. Hotel is next to ythe highway but still very quiet.
always super schwabach very nice
Great value for money. Good for one day stay during your trip.
Although the hotel is a budget hotel, it was very well appointed and comfortable. There was a good selection of food at breakfast. It is located just off the morway and there are shops and a cafe nearby. The station is only a short walk away and there is a regular service into Nurnberg, where we spent the evening during our overnight stay.
Good front of house staff and the room was spotless Could have done with a bit more refreshments in the room - only 1 english tea bag and two sugars and two milks (but there was other teas that we did not like)
Clean. Comfortable, convenient for the autobahn. Good breakfast.
Close to autobahn (2 minutes' drive) but still quiet (NB our room faced away from the autobahn - you'd be a bit more aware of traffic on the other side of the hotel). Large comfortable room with balcony. Good food in an inn which felt very traditional. Pleasant village setting.
excellent location, very good breakfast
We only stayed for one night and it was cloose to the motorway. We had good food and fine service. The souranundings was not very charming but the hotel fulfilled our expectations for one night
The quietness during the night
Extremely friendly, family-run hotel and restaurant. Outstanding room size and comfort and the restaurant was so good (with extremely fair prices) that we would go out of our way just to enjoy the experience again. Easy to find, just off the A9, but at the edge of the village and very quiet - the best location for our needs. The hotel had been added to and modernized over the years, so be careful on the stairs between sections. Not difficult, but sometimes unexpected. Still, a lovely hotel.
The friendly and competent staff headed by the family owners. Fantastic German restaurant. Highly recommend and will stay there again when in the area.
all the best everything was very good
The meals are very good and there is a good selection to chose from on the menu. The people are very friendly and very helpful. The dining area inside and out is very quaint and comfortable.
on monday there is no restaurant
Very beautiful castle, stayed in the tower. Need to just bring what you'll need to the room since there are some steps up to the rooms. Definitely would be difficult to manage a large suitcase.
Breakfast, dinner menue and envirement
we were very disappointed that there were no rooms left in the castle, and were put in the guest house, which was about 5mins away from the hotel where we had to go for breakfast.you could not drive very close to the hotel, bad news when its raining!!
Very nice place, the staff was excellent. Delicious breakfast! We had also a good meal in the cosy hotel restaurant. Please be aware of that the hotel is an old medieval castle and has no elevatores or special access for disabeled people (at least not in the tower where we stayed). There is somewhat of a walk from the parking to the hotel inside the castle walls and up in the tower. No problems for us, but if you have problems with carrying your own luggage, be aware!
It's a real castle in a small charming town. Room was in a tower built around 1860. Friendly and helpful staff. Small room (twin bed room), no internet
very very good~~~
Free apples and bottled water at the room. The breakfast included everything despite it was not a buffet. For those who wants lot of food for dinner, the Wienerschnitzel is recommended. There are only six rooms in the castle, the rest are at the annex (Gasthaus), 100 stairsteps below the castle.
I really don't have a nice thing to say about the hotel. A single person doesn't stay in the castle, you stay way downtown in a very cramped tiny room overlooking mold on someone's garage. The fruit in the room was beyond eating stages, there was no plug in the sink to hold water, the room was way overpriced at 65 Euro, a hostel room would have been much nicer. When I booked, I thought I was actually going to stay in a castle room, not the case, you are no where near the castle, you are in a small room downtown. If you wanted breakfast, you had to go all the way back up to the castle.
beautiful building, surroundings, nice reception and good restaurant Very steep stairs, difficult to carry your suitcases to the room. room was not comfortable. We had a twin bed and one should climb over the other to get off. We were situated in the tower on one of the upper floors, which is absolutely not recommendable. However we believe there are much better rooms. The room we had (4) was not exactly value for money. Internet worked complicated. Once you are on the internet you cannot watch TV. Summarizing a nice experience but not to be repeated in the room we got.
Castle restaurant kichen
Frau Schuster was very sweet and helpful They gave my room away at 22.00 and the reservation said that we had the room until 23.00, so we had to stay in alternative room without bath.
Nothing good Very cold room. No towel, no soap, mould everywhere especially in the bathroom. No credi card accepted. Very poor internet connection. The swimpool exist but is out of order. The receptionist didn't check booking reservation. No car parking. You have to arrange by yourself.
The room was basic and very cold, The decoration was poor with cracks in the wall and plaster missing. The shower fittings needed repair. The hotel supplied tea towel sized towels were totally inadequate for taking a shower. No soap supplied. Very poor value for money. The staff had very poor english, which is unusual in my experience. They had a very good grip of asking for their money and insisting on cash payment only! The breakfast consisted of dry rolls and coffee. If you wanted tea or anything else you had to go down to the kitchen and ask for it. Service was slow or non-existent! The evening meal food was okay but very expensive and the service slow. All in all a rip-off!
Nice hotel, close to the Autobahn. Internet (T-Mobile Hotspot-cards) is only available per hour (for €8) or per 24 hours (for €29) which in my opinion is a bit too expensive. The cleaning ladies already started to clean around 08:00 am which gave some noise in front of my room.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay.Nothing was too much trouble even if we had special requests.
Excellent location on village square. Pleasant terraced beer garden. I have enjoyed a previous stay.
very friendly staff
beautiful old part of country town and quiet environs
Hotel is situated on the quiet place and keep a good table ounly a few parking places
Nice atmosphere in restaurant, food was good. Breakfast was very good and served from 06.30 so able to get early start for rest of our journey. Bathroom had no towel rails, so no where to hang up wet towels, Ok for overnight stay but would be annoying if staying longer.
good breakfast, nice location and very comfort hotel wireless internet was not working.
The hotel is situated in a small and quite village, so there are no noise during the night. From the hotel to Nurnberg exhibition it takes only 30 minutes. Rooms are clean and big with clean and big bathroom. It is a half way between a hotel and a B&B, strongly recommended to people that just needs a place to sleep. Good value for money. Breakfast is not very rich, but however it is more than acceptable if you think to what you pay for it
friendliness despite language differences, beautiful city and very homey accomodations
Very friendly staff, good guest room good breakfast
nice room, quiet, good breakfast, no internet in all rooms !
That the lady provided milk without me having to ask It smelled of smoke on the 2nd floor and this came through in to my bed room. There was only 1 pillow on the double bed.
Everything was ok, only the internet was not working, during my stay. Special thanks for the breakfast!
A family run hotel. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and big. Thanks them a lot.
comfort, breakfast, diner no elevator
Unique atmosphere and breakfast
The room, the bed was exelent, the pillows, the interesting entrance and the look from outside. Garage too small.
Nice rooms, Resturant not always open in the evening not mentioned on when booking
the rooms are very nice also the dinner and all other services were excellent we will go back again
Friendly staff and good facilities.
Very good restauternt in the hotel, nice location on main city square.
The hotel staff was particularly nice and accommodating to a mother on her own with 3 kids, particularly at dinner in their restaurant.
Excellent hotel and value. Good location in centre of town. Quiet. The shower room (wet room) was outstanding. Great breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff Parking was at the hotel but it was very tight and you had to leave your keys for them to move your car if others need to manouver. However, the garage was covered and safe.
The room was clean. There was good service and the staff were able to speak English
