10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is my favorite place to stay in the Dundee area. It is an exceptional value. The spacious house is set off in a large property with a gorgeous backyard setting. The swimming pool is so refreshing, with a slide, waterfall, whimsical motifs and built-in bar seats, surrounded by fragrant flowers of different hues. (Dependent on time of year of course.) The two owners could not be kinder and more accommodating. While Josh is whipping up a beautiful breakfast for you, Roc is often playing classical music on the baby grand (and he's terrific.) The upstairs room with the balcony has a lovely view of the pool area below and the surrounding countryside and the room across the hall without the balcony is still very spacious, with a surprisingly large walk-in closet and lovely bathroom. There's a relaxing feel, as if you're staying at a close friend's vacation home and often, it seems like you have the place to yourself because there aren't that many rooms, unlike the vast majority of other places. It's about a 15 minute drive to some of the best wineries in the nation and the charming town of McMinnville is a short drive as welll. I believe the overwhelming number of great reviews are heartfelt. (There is only one that left rather odd criticisms, such as a lack of glasses in the bathroom, never mentioning the lovely tiling and all the other accommodations and if you've stayed there, you can't help but wonder if some people simply lack the capacity to enjoy themselves.) I have literally stayed in every B&B in the area and although some are also very beautiful and have their own unique charms, they are also extremely expensive compared to Casa S and they don't have Josh and Roc. Highly recommend. I hope this information helps.
Cons: As always, I hated the fact that I had to leave and go home ;(
10.0 Excellent

The bnb pays attention to every detail a guest may need: nice music, beautiful rooms, home made snacks, a wine social hour, tvs, games, seating, coffee makers, etc. Nothing is missed. The folks are great as well. Great conversation. Wonderful breakfasts. Great service and care for their guests. Pros: We loved everything here, lovely staffs, best breakfast ever, relaxing atmosphere, very cozy, just feel like home. The complimentary wine testing for 2 at a vineyard next door (5-min walking) is a big plus and the wines there is really good. So far this is the best B&B we have ever stayed.
Cons: The only downside is that we stayed here for just 1 night, not enough time to enjoy what the place has to offer. If we knew it would be this good, we would have planned to stay here at least 2 nights.

6.2 Good
Pros: Stayed here after a long day of driving and unloading boxes. - Room was clean, wifi worked. (which is a lot more than can be said for most places, so I'll give them that) - Free Parking
Cons: - Heater had an obnoxiously loud plastic on plastic vibration. - From this room on the 3rd floor pointing west over the roof, there was a persistently loud humming noise. - Linens smelled a bit too strong of bleach or something similar. - 2 out of 3 parking spaces have a post occupying part of the space, generally right where a car door would open. I did not sleep well. Generally not a bad place but I would expect just a bit more for the price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice decor. Location great..
Cons: Noisy, I could hear the guest upstairs walking around. Also could hear a squeaky bed. Did not sleep well

Pros: Clean. Nice rooms.
Cons: Is there really any reason to need liscencs plate numbers?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: clean rooms and good location
Cons: no
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great front desk staff, spacious room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!! The room was huge. Bed was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet. Buffet breakfast was delicious! The breakfast staff of one, Kelly, was very helpful, kept the dining and food areas very clean. Breafast pastries, eggs, sausage, ham, biscuits and gravy, and coffee were all hot and fresh!! And cant forget make your waffles (original and maple cinnamon) were scrumptious!! And it was no problem getting a later checkout time!!
Cons: Its not that i didnt like, I just think that the King suite with jacuzzi tub (Room 325) should switch the living room to bedroom area so that the jacuzzi tub is in the bedroom area to have more of a luxury feel rather than Voyerdorm Girls Gone Wild feel. Plus, having the rooms switched would eliminate people needing to use the restroom not disturb people sleeping.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: nice to be in Mc Minnville, even if not walking distance
Cons: not really
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, free breakfast. We liked our suite set up! There were actually good tv channels to watch. My kids love going to hotels and they really liked it here. Oh and the cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch.
Cons: Bed wasn’t super comfortable but I’m kinda picky.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location and very clean.
Cons: Only had 2 queens available. We wanted a king bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, location.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The only good thing about this hotel or rather the best thing about it was the location.
Cons: I found the room to be unacceptable. The sheet on the bed didn't fit and had to be changed. When the young man changed the sheet we saw that the mattress pad was stained in numerous places.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Everything met our needs, and then some. The breakfast was yummy. Plus, this was a perfect hotel for our kids.
Cons: The only reason I did not give it a 10 overall was because I would have preferred more comfortable beds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and soft beds, good shower . Quiet
7.0 Good
Pros: The location and ease of access to McMinnville was what we liked best. Breakfast buffet was fresh, clean and good variety.
Cons: The room had some loose M & M candies on the floor. A young lady and boy brought their dog in the pool/jacuzzi room while they used the facility. Doubt seriously they were paying for a room here and were seen sprawled out on the lobby furniture.

Pros: Excellent hot breakfast choices. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Table & swivel chair blocked pathway when in use from beds to bath. My wife hurt her leg trying to get around me when I was using the swivel chair & table. Breakfast room was crowded with no available seating so we waited in our room for awhile and retried later when seating was available.
Cons: See room layout issue above.

Cons: Nothing, everything was just fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool and spa felt new and clean, we all enjoyed them for a couple hours. I used the gym, which was also sparkly clean and had good options for working out. For a buffet style hot breakfast, it was the best I've had at a hotel. Name brand yogurt, peanut butter, plain oatmeal already made with lots of toppings options and the waffle machines were clean, worked well and the batter made for delicious waffles. Everyone in our family was extremely satisfied with our experience
Cons: The wifi did keep bumping us off randomly but it was definitely high-speed when we were connected.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place to stay for the value in McMinneville. Enjoyed it very much!

Pros: Bed was comfy.
Cons: That the hotel didn't take credit cards with a chip and charged a 200 dollar deposit cash So I had to go find a bank get charged 3 extra dollars to withdrawal I have worked hotel and not even the extended stay had this. Nice hotel clean. But the pool wasnt up and running. When I booked it. It said there was a pool. Gym was ok.
5.8 Okay

Cons: Hotel is NOT on the lake as depicted. it is near the lake. bed not comfortable, pillow like rocks. Our window was blocked by the hotel sign. Ask for a room where the window is not blocked by the sign (ridiculous!). Room was very dark due to the sign covering the window,

Pros: It was close to who we were visiting, and easy to find.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was a very nice hotel and has easy access to I-5. It is very clean and modern - the bathroom was beautiful! The breakfast was very good, fresh and hot. They even had fresh-made pancakes using a "pancake machine" which was better than the usual waffle-maker. It was also located on the fringe of a shopping center with lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Despite being close to an interstate, it was very quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had great options - we needed a light breakfast to tide us over until a late brunch. The bed was perfect for us.
Cons: We liked it all.

Cons: The room was a little small
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is in a business park area of town, with lovely landscaping around it.
Cons: It was a bit difficult to find because it is set way back from the street and there is minimal signage. I mentioned it to the gal at the desk-she said it was because the hotel doesn't own property near the street, so they can only have a small sign. Also, the hotel is very near the freeway, so the traffic noise level is a bit high at times.

Pros: Very old-fashioned, like having an 1890’s immersion experience, very pleasant staff, handy restaurants, excellent housekeeping service
Cons: Handy to be downtown but Noisy. Earplugs provided! Thank you! Very rustic — know before you go
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Love the rooftop deck. It was a great place to sit and have a drink at the end of the day. We had dinner there the first night and it was very good. The hotel is lively - 4 choices of places to eat or have a drink, and live music. The location on the Main Street is perfect.
6.3 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Shared bathroom
7.0 Good
Pros: Free morning coffee and front desk staff were GREAT.
Cons: Noisy - street noise. Funky room, but clean. Elevator was slow.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, wonderful food.
Cons: Room was stuffy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice bed, location, food. Great staff.
Cons: Children of another guest were unsupervised in the room next to us, and they were quite noisy until very late at night. We wete in 303, & they were on 304.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a great vibe. Older building that has retained it’s character and has not lost its charm. The staircases were wide and easy to climb up and down. Access to the roof was easy though I’m not sure that it was wheelchair accessible. There is also an elevator but not to the rooftop. What I really enjoyed was the paintings and posters on the walls in the halls. Many fun stories. The rooms were all named and their explanations were written on the wall in the room (at least my room). Another nice touch was the bottled liquor that was available for sale at the desk. Mostly whiskeys. I was very impressed by the coffee liqueur. Samples were sold at the bar/restaurant. I had chosen a room with a shared bath (a short distance down the hall). The bathroom with toilets and showers was clean. Access was via your room card. Staff were helpful and polite. I now want to check out the other hotels in this unique chain. Morning coffee and newspapers were set up on the second floor. The hotel is located in the downtown area in this wine country town with many shops, tasting rooms and restaurants.
Cons: Free parking was in a garage a little over a block away.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Old, funky, fun. We stayed in the UFO Room, which is very small but has an antique headboard and information about a UFO sighting in the area painted on the walls.
Cons: If you are looking to stay in a modern hotel, this isn't for you. No tv, and the bathroom is down the hall. But there is very good wifi and really nice robes!
6.8 Good
Pros: Liked the quirkiness and decor
Cons: HATED THE SHARED BATHROOM SITUATION
6.3 Good
Pros: It is right in the middle of the downtown area. Walking distance from what are probably the best restaurants in the city. The rooftop bar is exceptional and the foot there is great. The art covering the walls is cool, if not a little creepy, but it adds to the quirky nature of the hotel.
Cons: This is definitely a specific destination stay. Maybe I did not read the fine print, but there were some amenities that I am used to that were not available. I can live with no TV or fridge, I mean it is a historic (see very old) hotel after all, but not having a private bathroom was something that I did not expect. Like I said, I probably missed the note on that when booking, I hope, but it should be bold font on the booking page. If I was staying there longer than 2 nights, I would have walked away after entering my room. Also, the super creepy old dude painted on my wall was unnerving.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel. Loved the rooftop
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Courtyard on 3 rd floor outside our room with potted plants & a fountain- We did yoga in. The morning. It was perfect

Pros: the staff was both friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It did appear clean and quiet.
Cons: the beds were wayyyyy too hard and we had requested a handicapped room which I had reserved online so not sure what happened but then was told there was no elevator. Who doesn't have an elevator in this day and age. The clerk was fabulous and offered to drag our luggage up the stairs but it was difficult still. Thank god we packed light as it was just an overnight trip. Also the cost seemed a little overpriced.

Cons: Nope
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place was clean, the staff was fantastic, the room was adequate. The breakfast reminded me of Army food, not the best but it was hot and there was plenty of it. The cook made up for the down sides with good humor and plenty of sincere charm.
Cons: They did not have an elevator that I could tell. I don't mind using the stairs. But we would not invite elderly to visit if we were upstairs. And had we not packed lightly multiple trips with luggage would have killed the stay for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great, lots to choose from. My husband was able to bring it to the room for me. One of the best breakfast setups I have seen at a motel
Cons: I really cannot think of a thing that wasn't great. Everything I requested was there for me.

Cons: In a mostly commercial area near big box stores

Cons: No pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very honest staff. Friend left his money wallet which the staff help him train until he could retrieve it

9.5 Excellent
Pros: A lovely period building. Very good hosts Probably the best breakfast I have enjoyed in my all my time travelling various parts of the world
Cons: Wifi was poor, I could not log on, my wife did manage to log on on the ground floor
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rose room was awesome! The hosts were very warm and welcoming!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and healthy breakfast! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks to the very friendly and hospitable hosts. The B&B is in a very quiet location, yet very close to Main Street, with its restaurants and wine tastings.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The house was lovely and the owners were very friendly.
Cons: The skylight in the bedroom made the room really bright in the early morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mike and Rose are very friendly hosts as well as excellent cooks! Rooms are gorgeous and inclusive breakfast was amazing!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice people, good location, just not comfortable or good food for us.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room and bathroom were very clean.
Cons: The room was on the third floor... a bit awkward with luggage. The wifi did not work on 2nd or third floor. The host apologized and suggested that we use the main floor. The next morning the hostess said she would reboot. The wifi then worked on the first floor. There is a nice authentic Mexican restaurant nearby with wifi that works both inside as well as when standing in front on the sidewalk.
7.5 Good
Pros: The property was beautiful and the location was perfect. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to requests. They are really nice people.
Cons: It would have been nice to have either televisions in the room or high-speed WIFI to accommodate streaming entertainment. Although board games were available, a good collection of books, i.e. novels, would have been ideal. Since the B&B is in a very small town, there is little to do in the evenings, so providing options while staying indoors would have been so great! Although the hosts were excited to provide breakfast, it was sadly one of the worst meals we ever had. This is hard to write as they were so proud of their offerings. They should stick to the basics, make sure it's prepared fresh in the morning, not held overnight and then warmed up, which is what appears to have been done.

6.0 Good
Pros: Pleasant, nice staff, clean
Cons: City water problems I understand. Hotel should have made ice available and kept vending stocked. Breakfast was disappointing, should have juices, sweet rolls, milk available. For $$ I was disappointed that more effort was made with breakfast dispite water
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great!
Cons: My only criticism is that the bathroom was very small, not a lot of room to change clothes, especially since we were sharing the room with another adult.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was out dated, cracked sheet rock on ceiling and the ceiling appearance was poor. Bathroom tub surround at seem has what appears to be black mold. But without testing it’s just a guess. The actual motel itself is descent and in a great location. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the area witch for us was a bonus. I would stay here again however I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone because they may not have the same taste as I do.

Pros: Large room with living area space (sofa, desk and lamps) on end next to window. ALL the comforts of home!
5.0 Okay
Cons: Stained sheets
4.5 Okay
Pros: The price and swimming pool
Cons: Not enough parking and the parking you did have was taken up by vehicles pulling trailers. Our room smelled like someone was smoking cigarettes in it. Breakfast was stopped early and when we asked for them to put more out the employee was upset and said "but we stop serving in 15 minutes" When I asked to speak to a manager about the cigarette smell I was told there was no management on the property until Tuesday. Very unprofessional. I would rather pay more to stay in a place that's clean and professional.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Traveled quite far to enjoy the pool - which we found out after we got there it was out for maintenance. Quite disappointed.
5.5 Okay

Pros: I called before my stay to make sure handicap toilets were available. Turns out some permanent residence had those rooms. I was speaking with a gentleman named Brennan. He was so kind and helpful he decided to order high rise toilet seats for this room. So when we got there the toilet seats were installed. So that was totally cool. So let’s go with the good things first!!  Was checked in by a very incredible gentleman named Carlos. What an incredibly detail oriented person this man is . He was offering us things I had no clue were available! This place has a wonderful continental breakfast from 6-9 am. They provide everything you may want for breakfast! GREAT way to start your day off!! Then in the evenings…..M-W they have a dinner social. They serve some sort of dinner entre with side dishes and drinks, sodas and wine!! Endless…….you can have a much as you want!! They have a beautiful fireplace and incredible folks who cook and serve all these items. This place has the most incredible staff. All super nice folks. Very competent, efficient, super friendly and on top of everything. Now the bad stuff.  This Residents Inn is backed up right next to a freeway so it is very noisy. That really should have been disclosed. The Internet and televisin is horrible. I could NEVER get my computer to connect to the internet. The staff was so sweet. They all tried and stated it was weird it wasn’t working. Well, this hotel is for business people who NEED the internet. So this was extremely frustrating. The TV connections were slim to none. The picture would freeze or just go into the pixels. This happened the entire time we were there. Could not EVER watch a full TV show as it was always being interrupted with freezing or pixels. That was very frustrating. Would call the front desk every night asking why we could not get TV. Carlos actually came to our room testing all the connections and discovered our connections were fine. Ther is a staff member named Tim who worked nights.

Pros: The front desk staff was absolutely amazing!! The breakfast was very good!! The temperature in the pool and hot tub was nice. Pool and hot tub seemed clean.
Cons: It is run down. Carpets and flooring are disgusting. The hallways are hot. There was fruit flies in our room. The room itself smelled and I wore shoes in the room unless I was on the bed. Tub had black stuff in it, dirt or grease?? It was very humid in the room. I want to believe that the cleaning staff is good and that the property just is in poor condition. For $143 I really expected it to be a lot nicer. My daughter was at the pool and little ones had cuts on their feet from the rock on the outer part of the pool. My daughter’s were very red and hurt. She is 17 and has pretty tough feet. Next time I’ll pay an extra $60 and stay at the Grand!

Pros: Breakfast was very yummy and there was plenty of selections! Coffee was hot and juice was cold! Love the waffles! Felt full after eating breakfast! The area was very clean and organized as well.

Pros: The staff made us feel very welcome.
Cons: Remove the divider wall in the room so the children sleeping on the couch can see parents. Turn the heat up in the pool room as well as the pool Find a new exit to Hawthorn as it really unsafe to pull out on that street.
