The staff is very attentive and speedy in their responses to requests. The facility was always being cleaned for a tidy appearance. The beds are comfortable. 24 hour hot tub and pool availability was nice. Walking distance to Disney about .75 mile walk.
Noise from I-5 highway. Those who clean the rooms skipped our room 4 of the 5 days we were there. The breakfast buffet seemed quite sparse for the $13 price point.
Location, due to being close to Disneyland
The room we had look good once you entered the room, but once looked over you'll notice it isn't dirty vents, bathtub water kept on running, spots on the wall and floor. Noisy, were located near the elevator and able to hear it go up and down. The housekeeping carts need quitter wheels going from room to room you can hear even From other floors.
The proximity to Disneyland is just right for the person in need of saving a few pennies by not choosing a hotel directly across from Disneyland. The half a mile walk up and over the freeway was very safe, fast and practically effortless. The elevators were always fast, the valet friendly, the front desk was expedient
The beds were uncomfortable- the sheets and odd thick wool blanket under the "fitted sheet" made me sweat and toss and turn all night long. I thought it was just me but after a four night stay I noticed that the sheets don't fit the bed...the fitted sheet was just a flare sheet tucked carefully under the mattress so when you moved at any point in the night it would roll up and creep slowly up the bed...this is also how I discovered the disgusting wool blanket that didn't fit the whole bed but I'm pretty sure it's some barrier to protect the mattress. Due to the short sheeting of the bed I basically slept in this wool thing through the night. The tub faucet didn't just drop it leaked, the telescoping shower head was broken, our bathroom fan was non existent even though I could see it in the ceiling there was no switch, we had a lamp that didn't work, our tv didn't work for the first two days and when I called down to front desk they said hey we're sending someone- after two hours of waiting my friend and I decided to go to lunch. They also put us in a room overlooking the gas ration and Taco Bell when I requested a room with a view. The free upgrade I got to two queens was actually not a good idea- the king room is more spacious and probably has sheets that fit.
Very close to Disneyland. Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Affordable.
They force you to pay for parking.
My niece & i went to Disneyland at 11am it was apparent she was sick and was not going to make it until 3pm (check in at the hotel.) I called, they said they had 1 room available, I got there they had 2, more important the girl at check in was sympathetic, friendly & quick.
No price on the sign for the buffet breakfast
I was insulted with Room 148. We had a small child with us and this room was beyond unacceptable. I did not appreciate the "hipster/industrial" vibe it had going on. Had we been given a room w/carpet and a drop ceiling initially, this review would have been "good".
We celebrated our 40th wedding in July of 2005 with 38 of our family & friends from around the country--our annv date is 8/15/65 but because of conflicts we had it in July--this is our 45th and we celebrate in Oct because of a wedding in Laguana Beach where we stayed in a sister hotel.
The traffic is noise is constant
Rate was reasonable, terrific pool, bar and free computer facilities. Walking distance to disney land.
The location was idea and the staff could not be more helpful. A great place to stay and I would highly recommend.
A Very Pleasant Stay . A Good Restaurant . Very Pleasant and helpful Staff.
Loved: The pool/hot tub (open 24 hrs), the restaurant K'ya is delicious, the lobby is very nice, the hotel staff were pleasant, there are 2 shuttles that go to Disneyland, our beds were very comfy, overall I feel it was a good value.
Hated: The size of the bathroom, they charge $10/day for parking, it's a little too far to walk to the Disneyland entrance, the room was not decorated and looked like it needed to be remodeled (in their defense I think they are in the middle of remodeling but hadn't gotten to the 5th floor yet).
The restaurant was very good and very inexpensive. The bed was comfortable and the large, flat screen TV was quite nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
I believe that my only complaint would be that the (complimentary!) wireless internet signal was a bit spotty. There were a number of times that I was either unable to get a signal or it was so slow that it was unusable.
I thought the lobby and the hotel restaurant were fabulous! The restaurant had a wide variety of food all $10 and under. The quality of the food was amazing, aned room service was very affordable. This along with the price of the room made the whole trip a treat! The pool looks very inviting though we didn't have time to enjoy.
Our room's air conditioner was a little old and loud, but it did nto disturb us enough to complain.
