Pros (+) friendly staff, proximity to bus stop (15-20 min ride into Anchorage for $2; car rental $30/day offseason), good value for price, upgraded my room for 4 nights :)
Cons (-) not the place to bring your mom or grandma. you'll meet some Alaska residents, thats for sure. Building is not super new and there are not many amenities, but it'll do

Cons (-) The place was disgusting! And didn't have own bathroom in rooms had to share with everyone and of you didn't wear shower shoes u probably would have brought something home. Didn't even sleep under covers.

Pros (+) Cheap price that provides you what you need. Friendly staff and travelers from all over. Decent location with food options nearby and a shared kitchen for you to use. Shared bathroom has a toilet and shower with soap/shampoo provided.
