Pros. Customer service was over the top
Pros. Great bed.
Cons. Location is not good - no local character. Pretentious - with no good reason.
Pros. The Ritz-Carlton is what we dreamed all our previous hotels would have been. The staff, facility, rooms, food, location, and atmosphere could not be improved. In addition to a beautiful property with excellent customer service, the Ritz-Carlton is literally steps from the Pentagon City Metro station. They treated my children like kings and made our stay well worth the price. The search for lodging in the Washington D.C. area has ended. We will never stay anywhere else again!
Cons. I cannot say I did not like anything. Even the small logistical issues we had, that come with children, were fixed above and beyond expectations. The staff over-compensated for any issue that arose during our stay. Others should learn from the Ritz-Carlton model.
Pros. Free early check-in. Quiet room.
Cons. No free wifi. Drab view from room.
Pros. The Metro was just outside the front door and it made for very easy trips on the metro. The airport is only two stops away and you avoid the hassle of traffic if you don't have too much luggage to carry. I saw several families there so I think it would be a nice place for families too. And of course, the service was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros. Very quiet, no outside noise what so ever despite the location.
Cons. Nothing that set apart the Ritz from the others, room, furniture, bathroom was very medicore and what you get from any other hotel in the same class.
