Cons: The walk up the hill a few times a day was hard work but the views wouldn't be so good if there was no hill! It was a little more expensive to most hotels I have stayed at for the size/type of room but I think Queenstown is just generally expensive. I would still stay here again.

There are always several delicious options for a hot breakfast as well as self serve cold options (cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc). The staff was friendly and helpful. Upon arrival my fiance and I received a warm welcome from Ryan and a nice summary of things to do in Queenstown. We needed dinner reservations for the first night and received wonderful recommendations and Ryan even took care of a reservation for the night. Lovely hotel, great staff.

Cons: nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. For us we both requested GF foods and that request was fulfilled. We were also left GF cookies in our room. The lounge area was good to sit and have a read of the paper after breakfast. Location was good for most things. Worked out a way to get back to The Dairy by walking around the block to avoid the stairs. Coffee shop across the road was fantastic.
Cons: The noise. The spa was directly under our room and as most people know when you are in a spa you speak louder. Well the noise was so loud we had to turn our TV up to maximum. The people didn't get out until very late. The doors in the property are quite heavy and from our room you hear every time someone closed a door. The rooms were noisey, you could hear every time someone closed the wardrobe door and sound of voices and the clunking of shoes being taken off. Generally it was quite noisey, especially when one lot of our neighbours arrived home at 2.50 a.m.. Waking anyone up at that time of the morning was not their concern. Last time we stayed at the property there was a wood pile for the fire outside not this time. It would have been great to use the outside fire as a place to eat as it it protected from the wind.

Pros: The attention to detail of everything, enjoyed the first time and same 2nd time
Cons: Tried to book restaurant above the hotel JSH for a certain time. We’re told couldn’t accommodate but they could an hour later which didn’t suit us, so ended up booking at Left Bank but decided to cancel that as we felt we could get booking at JSH ourselves which we did and at our time we wanted which we did and the restaurant was basically half empty but in hind sight maybe should have stayed at a Left Bank as JSH not very good !

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic, the Sofitel is by far the best located hotel in the main town. The rooms are comfortable however we booked the one bedroom suite and had a fair bit of trouble with the heating not heating up the bedroom very well, in saying that the hotel must be aware of this as they had a separate heater in the bedroom already for us to use. The breakfast is great and the staff were very friendly and managed to accommodate all our needs.
Cons: The rooms are quite dated and very dark. We had also booked at adjoining room which was confirmed prior to our arrival however when we arrived this was not the case. The manager rectified the situation however it took us four phone calls over four hours to house keeping to get our daughters trundle brought into the new room.

Pros: The staff is so very welcoming and accommodating. Great location - steps away from the shops and restaurants. Very comfortable room, comfy bed with soft linens - large bathroom including a jetted tub. wish we could've taken the hotel and staff along to our remaining destinations throughout the South Island.

Pros: One of the memorable places we stayed in NZ. Mary & Terry were wonderful hosts. We gelt very welcome indeed and enjoyed our conversations around an excellent Syrah bottle of wine ( we went afterwards to the winery to buy more of it) and in the morning sharing breakfast. It confirmed how N Zealanders are great welcoming guests. You feel at home. Even the little dogs contributed.NZ is far but it gives you the desire to return. Excellent breakfast and thanks to our hosts we were" able to book a nice restaurant although it was already late. Superb and comfortable large en suite room in a gorgeous house. Very quiet area Very good internet.
Cons: still looking for something which explains why it took so much time to write this report. Just gave up.

Pros: Great guests, Tery was really very nice, welcoming and made great breakfast We had some wine and cheese with Tery and his wife in the nice living room Mountain bikes to enjoy the wine valley ! Superb immense bed room with a great terrace view on the wineries and a nice bad !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Saying that we loved our stay here is definitely an understatement! I can’t think of anything that we would have liked more for our holiday because Mary and Terry did an amazing job in making this by far the best place we stayed in during our three weeks in New Zealand. The rooms were amazingly nice, clean and comfortable but what made everything even better was the hosts’ and other guests’ company and the very generous wine and cheese platters that we had every night on the lovely terrace in between good chats and under the light of stars. We really could have stayed there forever and can’t wait for an opportunity to go back. The breakfast was also out of this world and all the small things that the hosts did for us were so appreciated. It felt like a home thousands of kilometres away from home, in between beautiful vineyards and perfectly located to visit the wineries in the area. So many thanks, Mary and Terry, for making our last part of the holiday unforgettable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked this last minute without much thought after my plans changed because of weather. I could not have been any more pleasantly surprised! I loved the home, the location, the views, the hosts and the little dog! I sat and had wine with the owners until the stars came out (quite late this time of year) and couldn’t have been more relaxed. Breakfast was wonderful and my dietary needs were addressed without issue. I wanted to return during my trip for another night but ran out of time. My room was very large, comfortable, and clean. The internet worked better than anywhere else I stayed. I highly recommend a visit here :)

4.5 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The service in the restaurant whilst friendly was incredibly slow we were the only people in there at the time for breakfast and it took more than 30mins for our breakfast to arrive. Our sheets were dirty in our room and when we addressed this with the hotel manager she said that it must have been from the chocolates and basically implied we had made the mess on the sheets, it actually looked like birds poo on the sheets. One of our possessions was removed from our room and the manager again told us their staff are trained not to remove any personal possessions from the room so it couldn't have happened. it did happen it was something that we can only purchase in America and cannot freight here. All in all we were very unhappy with the stay and fro the cost it was not up to standard by any means at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location Staff excellent Luxury unit with plenty of extras We loved staying at the Spire
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were spacious, beautifully styled and comfortable. Great location in the centre of town. Staff were extremely helpful.
Cons: A little bit pricey but worth the expense.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel customer experience is incredibly thoughtful, even to the point of offering guests a menu of pillow choices (eg down, firm, soft, latex, etc) to choose from. They have anticipated everything a guest could look for in a room. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Made you feel at home immediately.

Pros: Great location and good set up for us with space.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic accomodation, very clean and modern and the best shower! Even better than a few high end hotels I’ve stayed in. Will certainly be back

Pros: Awesome location about a 5-10min walk from city centre. Great in house facilities; stove microwave, kettle, all cooking utensils. Comfy bed and warm heated floor tiles

Pros: Beautiful viewss, comfy rooms
Cons: The couch was damage in the middle so if u sat on it, u ouldnt get out
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Brazilian admin lady was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Their wasnt much air flow in the room..it was a bit stuffy and smelly. We had room 13. The bathroom gets very wet after a shower. The basin tap will flow out of the basin and wet your clothes unexpectedly. My husband and I are quite lean and he still would fit comfortably on thr small space where the toilet is..
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Cosy nice bath
Cons: Too far from town
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved how small and cosy the room was. It didn't bother us at all that the kitchen was together with the lounge. The view was honestly amazing!! Beds were very comfy. Bath tub was a good size and nice to use after a eventful and cold day. The location is a total bonus. Staff were very nice and helpful. Totally recommended
Cons: There's no oven, but it's not a big fuss.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Particularly appreciated the post check out service. We were able to leave our luggage in a safe locker until we returned for our shuttle transfer to the airport. Camilla the manager invited us in to the office for a warm place to wait until the shuttle arrived. She also obliged us by taking a photo of us with the beautiful snow covered mountains behind us.
Cons: Nothing negative to report.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I arrived late after check in - the staff contacted me to let me know how to find my room which was left unlocked, key inside and the heater going, this was greatly appreciated after a long trip, arriving late on a cold winter's night! The room is modern and has a great sized bathroom and spa bath. There are tea and coffee facilities but also basic cooking facilities with a microwave, toaster and plates/cutlery etc. The bed was comfortable and the room was tastefully decorated. The motel is less than 10mins walk to the town centre and even closer to the Queenstown Botanical Gardens. It is very easy to access the Frankton track which is the walk way along the lake's edge. I was staying at this motel but attending a conference in a nearby hotel. The rooms in the hotel while tidy ,were old and dated, and considerably more expensive. I was VERY happy with my decision to stay at Autoline Motel and hope to stay there again when next in Queenstown.
Cons: Nothing!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Big room, very comfortable and warm.

Pros: The location is great. It is right in front of the lake. The staff have been nice and helpful in arranging transportation and meals. The apartment is spacious and clean. I would definitely reccommend this hotel to friends!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I stay regularly at SO hotels and like they are a bit different.
Cons: Bouncer trying to ask me to take my cap off at Roof top bar.....nope ain’t going to happen. You pride yourself on being different and then try and have Draconian rules at bar !!! Seriously !!! The roof top bars I use in LA are super cool and don’t try and hassle guests paying top dollar. Sometimes housekeeping miss minor things, like not fully restocking mini bar each day or making sure bathroom body wash is full ... last time it was empty !!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb experience! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Hotel facilities and experience were outstanding.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Thought we were in private hotel In luxe suite but were down the road in an apartment Didn’t need that much space for one night stay

Pros: Excellent hostel. The "pods" gives you a good privacy considering you are sharing the room with others. Add to that the cleanness, the toilets, shower rooms, the communal area, good WiFi, free parking and the very central location in Queenstown and this place is a winner. An affordable accommodation in town.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The waffles and soup were an excellent bonus. The bed was comfy but difficult to climb up to. The staff were awesome. The temperature inside was perfect. Couldn’t fault anything.
Cons: Next time I’d like to be able to book a bottom pod. Being a mature guest was awkward to climb the ladder but that’s only a minor dislike.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Bed smelled terrible. Also they shouldnt run the business when rennovating. They are repainting, fixing bathroom, sheets on the carpet, locker door fell off its hinges. Experienced staying in half construction site.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hostel with super friendly staff. They even helped me jump start my car when I had a flat battery.

I had a really great experience and would definitely come back again :).
Cons: I liked everything! :)
