After a day of skiing down the mountains of Aspen, guests can return to this historic hotel, which originally opened in 1954. Much of the old-school charm remains in classic, affordable lodging. The quaint rooms of the older wing feature the original furniture while updated Economy Rooms are a bit more modernized. Rooms sleep two to four people and come with a TV, small refrigerator, private bathroom with tub/shower combo, and complimentary WiFi. Older rooms don’t have air-conditioning but are comfortable in any season while upgraded suites can include a gas fireplace.

Once a week during the winter, Mountain Chalet hosts the Apres-ski Gluhwein party.
