Pros: Everything about this stay was impeccable. This was my first B&B stay and it was hands down 100x better than any hotel stay. Elaine and Ron were warm and welcoming. They provided all the comforts of home and treated us with fresh baked scones and homemade breakfast. We felt like part of the family.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was better than I expected. Everything is thought of. 10/10 is an understatement. The hospitality and generosity was like we were visiting a family member. So warm and welcoming. Very helpful with local knowledge, reservations and suggestions. The spa vibes were so relaxing. it was serene and superb to stay at Benaaron, I wish we could have stayed longer. Nice remote location with the most incredible views across the Ontario valleys. We chose the location based on our plans to see both Ottawa and Algonquin Provincial Park.
Cons: Only negative was that we were only there two nights!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We had the best breakfast we've ever had in a guest house. The range of options was wide and the food was fresh and delicious. Our hostess is a wonderful baker and we enjoyed her fresh baked scones and cookies, and her "light as air" blueberry pancakes. The house was lovely and had a panoramic view of the hills. The room was large and comfortable, tastefully furnished, and very clean. Our gracious hosts, Elayne and Ron, made us feel immediately at home.
Cons: The guest house is a distance from the nearest restaurant. That would be good to know when booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good home made breakfast with honeybirds and sunrise view in the highland.

Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 1. Location is great. Close to the Bancroft town, restaurants and stores. Very easy to find and park. 2. The house is absolutely lovely and clean. The house has over a hundred years of history and lots of lovely decorations and antiques. Although the bathroom is shared, I found it always clean and accessible. I generally would book rooms with private bathrooms when I travel, but it is not an issue at all at Kathryn's place because you just feel as if you're staying at your friend's house. If you're looking for an authentic Canadian cottage experience, I would definitely recommend this place! 3. Kathryn is super nice and accommodating. She gave us tons of advice on the town and the Algonquin Park - advice that you cannot find on a travel guide book but that only the locals know. The breakfast is delicious and we enjoyed very much chatting with her. I felt like we're a bunch of elementary school girls visiting our friend's house and were well taken care of by our friend's mom!
Cons: N/A

Pros: The cabin was exactly as advertised. It was clean, cozy, and the perfect weekend get away. The hosts were excellent and very accommodating. They even allowed us to bring a small dog (with prior permission taken of course) without any charges. They have free canoeing and kayaking at the lake by the cabin (which costs approx CAD 30 at the Algonquin park). Finally, I forgot my wallet there and the hosts couriered it back to me all the way to Dubai! I would highly recommend this place for anyone planning on visiting Algonquin Park. Had an excellent stay on all fronts.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The resort was very quaint. The view was beautiful. Lots of things to do right on site, especially for kids. Playground, fishing, boats, beach...
Cons: Our cabin 4EEEEs was the perfect size. Nothing fancy but comfortable. The beds in the room was two beds were comfortable but the queen bed in the larger room was a rock! It definitely needs a new mattress. Otherwise everything was great!

Pros: Our lodge was Dunworryin. We only used it as a base and only stayed three nights. The lodge was clean but could have done with a bit of modernisation but I guess you go to the country for the rustic feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the view over the lake is fantastic. Would recommend the Sund Run Cafe in Maynooth for a good brreakfast.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location: centrally located to near by attractions...
Cons: Highly over priced property at $165+ a night...found out that other patrons paid 30+$$ less a night even though I booked in advance! The property is more in line, price wise, at $80-$90 a night. The property has had some recent renovations but still has that tired look. The entrance door to the room had a large gap above it that let light into the room from the hallway. Over all we were disappointed in the property and wouldn’t recommend it at the current price!
5.5 Okay
Pros: Good location for us. Reasonably clean and maintained
Cons: Small rooms, dated décor. Found it to be expensive for the quality of the accommodations.
6.8 Good
Pros: Easy to get to. Had a fridge and microwave.
Cons: Room smaller than most motel rooms. Ants In the room. Carpet smelled a bit musty.
4.0 Okay

Pros: Great location. Staff super friendly and helpful.
Cons: I was on the second floor. The access is outside which is fine but the stairs are old and scared me.

6.8 Good
Pros: Room fairly big with patio. Well aircoditioned - friendly staff with good service in the front desk
Cons: Direction where to go for main entrance not clearly written, - bathrooms small and no hair dryer but clean Small area for breakfast with 1 table to sit on with 2 chairs Not close to hub of town
7.5 Good
Pros: Old but comfortable
1.0 Poor
Cons: We had the worst room - it smelled, it had spiders on the inside door, the tub, sink and bathroom floor was awful (clean but in a much needed state of repair). The carpet looked like it was at least 30 years old.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was nice and polite. Breakfast was ok although we were probably expected to eat in our room as there was no cafeteria space. There was no way on earth I would have gone back into that room
Cons: We were given two rooms in the old section of the motel; both rooms were in dire condition. A lousy smell welcomes the guests because of the dead beaten carpet, there were holes in the bath tub and sink due to aging, the walls were in bad condition, the TV images were not neat... We spent in this motel the worst night of our entire travel to Ontario. I did not stop coughing as my asthma caught up due to what I suspect is mold. Ask that for close to 400$, this is despicable. Never again.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good coffee & bagels. Beds were comfy.
Cons: Slight smell in the room. Carpet could use a clean
6.8 Good
Pros: Able to check in early.
Cons: Breakfast was not available due to office not open. Staff was unable to make it due to freezing rain.
5.5 Okay
Pros: minimum of selection of food available
Cons: as above no place to sit and eat breakfast except back at the room
