The atmosphere and genuinely welcoming staff and travellers made my stay so pleasant! There is a lot of social interactions and activities but without any pressure to participate. You can make the stay exactly what you want. It was amazing and I will definitely recommend and I will come back if the opportunity comes.
How are the hostel's cleanliness and safety measures?
It was very clean. the lockers were safe. the receptionist was friendly and helpful.
What practical amenities are available at the hostel?
Amazing Staff, Perfect location. I was travelling on my bike and it wasn't any problem to keep my bike safely on the patio. So if you travel like that I recommend this hostel.
What can guests expect in terms of social activities and dining options?
Sofia the receptionist was very kind and helpful as soon as I arrived to answer any questions I had, and Bambu the events manager is amazing! He cooks awesome dinners every night, you sign up on the day and pay a few euros (7-8euros while I was there) and it includes a drink. There is also the option to go out and do a pub crawl every night as well, joining up with the other San Jordi hostels in Barcelona.
How is the location of the hostel and its surroundings?
The location was really great it’s close to a metro station and it has a good pizza place just beside the hostel. Also the activities that they do like the pop-rolls. And the food that they cook every night is great.
