Good value Nothing special
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable. This is our second stay we appreciated the economical value and cleanliness, however on both stays the female receptionist was extremely rude the other staff were polite and hospitable but she is terrible no manners or customer service etiquitte whatsoever.
My mom was traveling with a group of friends and asked for me to help her with her reservations. She said she really enjoyed her stay, the room was clean and ready when she arrived. The front desk staff were informative about what was around to do. They mentioned some museums that thy might find interesting. They said the breakfast was also good, as well. I didn't hear anything bad about it. :-)
Quality staff location neighborhood price To sleep alone
Not terrible. Small and very few outlets. Beds were an the high side, made it hard for us, especially the kids to get in. They were mostly comfortable but did feel like you could role off when on edges. Parking is limited on the close rooms and had.to park far away from our building. Carpet on our room needed replacement. Staff was nice & breakfast was typical of these small chains. It.was fine for the low price and need to stop & rest in holiday traffic.
The front desk staff was friendly and awake when I checked in at 1am The bed was so uncomfortable! They have Summer bedding that doesn't hold body heat at all! I had to crank the heater just to make it tolerable.
the room was supposed to have internet but i could not log in , l book this hotel for the internet, the front desk offered now help ,what a bummer,
Large, clean room, lots of interior lights, microwave and refidgerator nice touch, low price, q
location near road to take way to las vegas
Convenient Location, clean room Wi-fi connection was spotty, had to borrow a LAN line from the front desk. Fluorescent light turned off would have brief flashes. Big fly in the bathroom.
Best of all. I didn't find one flaw.
Room comfortable and very clean. Excellent continental breakfast.
Stayed because of prior reviews and ratings. Lived up to reviews and ratings.
Cleanliness & free breakfast. Wifi password didn't work and there is a train track with a VERY loud train that runs through the night. I thought we were having an earthquake when the first train went by!
Staff was very friendly, room and lobby were attractive and facility was very clean. There were extras such as lemon water, newspaper, outlets on the nightstand, remote control was sanitized and there was a list of restaurants with recommendations. I felt pampered. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
efficient check in. Quiet & comfortable For the 2nd time on this trip our booking had not be recieved by the hotel, but was dealt with promply by the front desk staff with out any issues.
nothing really room was dark & dirty looking. The location was about the best part of it.
large room, suitable for 4 persons WiFi did not work
The facility is well maintained. The decor has a since of elephants. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was only one girl at the front desk and several of us were trying to check-in at the same time
Good hotel for one night. It is on the Route 66! :) The room was ok. I stayed there on my way from San Diego to Vegas.
We started our trip to the Southwest with some route 66 hotels. This hotel certainly is that. The round bed was a novelty and the old wood floors reminded me of my grandparents house. We would stay there again.
My stay at route 66 motel was very good. I was sadly, late in arriving, however, when I got there the room was ready. It had a feel of a different era. Everything was clean, and the person at the desk went over the remote control for the TV with me. It also a fridge and microwave in the room that was a nice extra for me. :-) I was also given a postcard when I checked in. I also really liked the price of the room. The location was on the end of town where there wasn't much activity, which is not the hotel's fault. My only real negative was the bed was a tad on the soft side.
The room was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the rate was very reasonable. The room allowed all sorts of noise into the room and there's a train every half hour. The room was also 20 feet away from a drive through. I think this could have been remedied by adding some weatherstripping on the door (we could see light coming in all around the door).
the quietness, the professional, breakfast service liked everything for the price
They gave away our room and wouldn't give our money back! Creepy bad part of town. The receptionist was inside a mesh cage because of the dangerous neighborhood.
The low price, and the tile floors and shower. The location close to shopping and food locations, and the very attentive staff. A 1/4 inch hole at the bottom of the door allowed wind to whistle through. At one time it sounded like a siren, when it gusted up. I woke up and thought it was the police. When I heard it again, I knew it was the wind. Only saw one bug, but not biting me.
The close proximity of my car so I could get the hell out of there after seeing the room. The cockroaches running across the bed sheets and across the floor . The slept in stained sheets . Questionable people running around the parking lot and hanging out front of the doors . Overall filthy room .
Location (very close to I-15) if you want to rest for some time. Doors were bad, flies all around, smoke in non-smoking, not enough towels.
The low price. 3:05 AM: Pounding on the door. 'Hey, you the guy I met at the Jack-in-the-Box, told me to come over?' No, I was not. Packed up and left at 4:00 AM.
Nothing. What a filthy place. Felt very unsafe; empty shopping carts in the parking lot; couldn't use the beds at all (sheets, comforter and blankets had writing and nasty stains on them and holes in them); bathroom was dirty and un-usable.
I liked it when i left it. The bed wasn't clean ther was a cigarette in the bathroom and in the shower. it was dirty in every corner, so i didn't use the blanked. They tell you they have a frigde, but if it's not plugged in even if you book in advance and they know your coming.
When we arrived there was NOTHING about this motel that rung true to what was listed online. It was horrible. We requested a nonsmoking room. There was not one room that was non smoking. The staff was questionable. EVERYTHING... My family and I walked into the room, took one look around and walked right back out. We couldn't even sit on the beds because they were filthy. The mattresses were black. The floor were visibly dirty. It was not a good experience. We left.
Nothing at all. Terrible. Room was extremely dirty, filthy beds and sheets, smelt like crap. Had to leave to find a different hotel to stay in for the night. Just terrible. Not work a penny Run by druggies. All sorts of drug activity going on, no sense of security
Conviantly located The time it to receive clean towels and sheets
We arrived at 1:00 AM in the morning and the night clerk was so nice and accommodating. The motel no longer serves free breakfast and he noticed my two daughters in the truck and gave us a free upgrade to the family room. He scored 10. Location was nice. Pool drained. A great deal of in/out of room activity at 1:AM to 2:30AM. NO free breakfast. Day clerk looked more homeless than the ones hanging around the motel. Sheets written on, walls and doors stained and no blackout current on east window sun 5AM.
Nothing there was bugs everywhere, and was gross Fly's and roaches, I was in the room for about an hour and checked out, went to another hotel much better.
The room was large. It had internet, a refrigerator and microwave. The room was in disrepair. The refrigerator (which froze things) and microwave leftover from a junk yard. Tube TV didn't work. Damaged and dirty room, carpet and furniture. Bed and pillows hard and without separate blanket. No Kleenex, I flimsy bath towl, lukewarm shower, no bath rug, One small Chinese hand soap and noisy wall air conditioner controlled by wall switch. When leaving room you can't lock deadbolt. They didn't service room so you were left with wet towel and messy room for second night. You can hear outside traffic and occupants of other rooms.
This was a reasonable motel for a short stay - good to have muffins available for breakfast! The sound insulation in Barstow needs to be improved - the sound of the nearby rail freight depot is weird and very loud all through the night!
Good value for money, nothing special, but not bad either, internet was working, a pool was available and the room was not bad. The continental breakfast was very poor and there was not much to do in the town
very cheap, nice welcoming staff and clean rooms the close train station resulted in constant screeching brake noise of the train, so this hotel is not the best for the ones who are easy to wake at night
We were on the way to Las Vegas and just slept there.
Wouldn't know, reservation got messed up and wasn't able to stay. There was no one at the front door. when I called the number that was posted on the door for assistance, it was an older lady and she says that they have no rooms available and questiomed that I even had a reservation. she said that she just joined different websites for booking rooms in her hotel and she has had many issues. she never came out to actually speak to me face to face we are just talking on the phone the entire time which was pretty irritating. She said someone just checked out and that if I waited an hour I can have a room but for right now that they were all booked up. It was already very late and we are just looking for a place to sleep and I had made the reservations earlier that day about 11 o'clock in the morning. so overall the stay, the booking and the experience was horrible.
