Pros: Location was outstanding!!! Right on the water! Can't get much better! The view was amazing, falling asleep to the ocean was amazing. Well thought out apartment with everything you would need. Amazing shower and beautiful balcony. Comfy bed and lovely pillows. Body wash and shampoo etc were delightful! Can't fault this accommodation at all for a lovely weekend away. A short stroll along the waterfront to restaurants and cafes. We loved Sam's Pizzeria for a beautiful night out with amazing food and delicious wine right on the water. We will be back!

Only signage you will find is to not book thru booking.com and call us directly. Booking.com charge us 15 to 20% commission etc etc. I travel across the globe but never experienced like this . Never recommend this to anyone to stay there.

Pros: I like when random picks turn out to be hidden gems. That was the case with The Lodge at Broulee. Expectations being exceeded would be an understatement. Spacious rooms/units (I stayed in one on ground floor), tastefully done interiors, it strikes a difference and catches your attention upon entry. It invites and welcomes you in rather than being a cloak room for your luggage and a bed to crash onto for the night. All amenities provided as a self-service apartment plus the provisions goes to show that owners think of hospitality by putting themselves in the guests' shoes. I must admit it made me feel like a home-stay more than a 'motel'. Loved my chat with Marko (owner) and appreciate his work and progress with the property. I wouldn't be surprised if he renames it as a 'resort' instead of a 'motel' soon :) Quiet neighborhoods/surrounds added onto how I like my stay at the coast to be. Short walk to the vast South Broulee beach was a plus.

Cons: Smaller furniture in the living room would have made it more roomy. Bedding in lounge room also not that comfortable (no complaints from the rest of us who slept in the bedrooms). Would also maybe reconsider the sensor light in the hallway as it was a bit disturbing going on and off when people got up through out the night (for those sleeping in the living room). For a group of 6 it would also be good to have some towel racks on the back of the bedroom doors.
