Pros: We had an absolutely fabulous holiday in great part due to the amazing team at the Auberge Sainte-Antoine. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hotel is well located in the lower city with easy access to the river front and the funicular to upper town. Madame Quay arranged multiple events for our group with great success. The entire staff were always courteous and knowledgable. Make sure to take advantage of the Penache Restaurant on the property for breakfast and dinner. I will be back!!
Pros: The heated bathroom floor was fabulous and the rooms were great! It was a very special hotel and museum all in one.
Panache restaurant was the best for breakfast and dinner! Superb!!
Cons: Nothing to dislike!!

The bed and breakfast is immaculately clean. The food was better than most five star restaurants. The location is perfect, far enough outside of the city but conveniently located near everything. Everything was amazing and can not state how highly I would reccomend it to anyone.
Pros: I wish I could give them a higher rating than what is available. It was an amazing stay. The food was unbelievably good and Lynda went above and beyond to make our anniversary a great one. This is a beautiful location and I highly recommend it.
A great choice for a stay in Chateau-Richer, Gîte Un air d'été features airport pick-up service. Guests can splash around at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. A fitness center and a terrace are offered, and rooms get the details right with bathrobes and slippers.
Pros: One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at compared to many throughout the world. Will be staying long term when I decide to write my book. Room, location and of course the staff were outstanding. wE REALLY WERE GUESTS AND ARE NOT BEING PAID FOR THIS REVIEW. Also, this is the first review we have ever done. COMPUTERS ####%^^#@@#$%!!!
Cons: HAVING TO CHECK OUT
Cons: One issue I had was when I was given my credit card receipt it was not itemised, so I had no idea if the valet charge was included. I therefore paid the valet guy separate for the valet parking. Then, when I later went over the credit card bill it appears that I had been charged for the valet on the credit card bill. An itemised receipt would have made me aware of this. Other than that I have no complaints, but I think this is something that is easily rectified.
Pros: Extremely helpful staff, I twice stayed here in one week, fourth floor of the hotel hard by the church square. The rooms are spacious and darkly handsome with just the night accents of decor. Love the rich wood floors and doors, roomy bathrooms and just everything.
Cons: I travel a lot and honestly cannot demerit the hotel for anything. From directions to restaurant recommendations to central location in old Montreal to handout umbrellas on a rainy Wednesday, Place d'Armes came through.
Pros: Very helpful staff. Great location. Clean. Quiet. Great breakfast which is included in the price. Overall excellent value at $160 per night.
Cons: Very hard to find the hotel. Room was very small with a shower made entirely of glass in the bedroom itself. Room was very small.
Location. This central Quebec hotel is on the corner where the city’s two pedestrian streets meet. Quebec City Town Hall is 200 meters away. Hotel Features. Auberge Place d'Armes is in two connected historical buildings. Breakfast is available for a surcharge at the hotel’s restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner. Room service is available afternoons and evenings. LCD HD TVs provide cable channels and pay movies and come with DVD players. Beds have triple sheeting, down blankets, and pillowtop mattresses. Pros: Lived everything about this hotel: proximity to restaurants, shopping, art, and more and the staff was not only incredibly nice but really helped us enjoy our stay more with day trip suggestions. Tania is the best front desk staffer we met!
Intimate Auberge overlooking the Old City, Contemporary Hotel overlooking the St. Lawrence RiverLe Saint-Pierre, auberge distinctive's two-century-old facade bring to mind a stately hotel where warm interiors enhanced with hardwood floors, stone walls and brickwork make it one of the most sought-after boutique hotels in Qubec.A distinctive hotel located in the heart of the Old Port district, Le Saint-Pierre enjoys a simply ideal location. Poetic names such as rue Sault-au-Matelot, rue Sous-le-Cap and rue des Pains-Bnits appeal visitors to wander back 400 years in time to Place-Royale, the cradle of Qubec City. On the hotels doorstep, let yourself be tempted by exclusive boutiques, antique dealers and art galleries, the very accomplices of Qubec Citys countless bistros, cafe-terrasses, restaurants and gastronomys top dining addresses.Only steps away from the pier promenade and Qubec Citys Old Port also a prestigious stopover for the worlds most sumptuous cruiseships Le Saint-Pierre, auberge distinctive is tucked away in a 19th century heritage building. Once prominently positioned among Qubec Citys leading financial temples and set in the oldest of downtown neighbourhoods, today Le Saint-Pierre, auberge distinctive stands proudly alongside another Old Qubec cultural icon, the highly acclaimed Muse de la Civilisation, known for the audacity of its exhibitions.Le Saint Pierre, auberge distinctive, brings together the top-notch services of a grand hotel with the authenticity of a cozy hotel, in Old Qubec.
Pros: The hotel is in the best location for someone wanting to see different parts of Quebec City. The staff is very well trained and seems to try to exceed expectations. This is a gorgeous historic hotel that has been extensively renovated. The pool and spa, all the restaurants, etc. are at or above the standards of what you will find in more modern luxury hotels. Based on my experience, I would recommend staying in one of the traditional decor rooms (preferably beginning 62##).
Cons: Initially, we were offered an upgrade to one of the remodeled rooms, but we thought the window was very small and the room felt rather claustrophobic. So, we asked to be put back in the traditional decor, unrenovated rooms and found it to be much larger and comfortable with a double window and a great view. Of course, these two rooms (out of the 600 in the hotel) likely were not representative of all the remodeled/traditional room layouts. Just my experience.
Pros: Beautiful interior and exterior, pool and related facilities were generously appointed.
Cons: Small room (even the "deluxe" room). Comfortable bed, but not THAT comfortable; my bed at home is much more so. There is a charge for every single thing... $16 a day for internet access is a joke, $36 a day for valet parking, $18 for a small pour cocktail at the bar. If I had it to do again, I'd stay somewhere else and visit the Chateau. Unless you are loaded and the money means nothing to you, I'd suggest the same.
Pros: All staff was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.
Pros: Well kept facility and competent staff.
Would come again.
Cons: But . . . you run a luxury hotel.
And then you do a Motel 6 maneuver and charge people for WiFi in their room.
I would expect this from an American airline company (the worst customer service businesses on the planet), but not from a top-end hotel chain.
Pros: Beautiful hotel, friendly and super accommodating staff. Wish we had more time to use the pool and to relax at the lounge area by the pool. It is close o all. We will go back again.
Cons: Parking is pricy. We got complimentary water the first day and then no more afterwards. Water is $8 a bottle in the room! Lobby could use some updating.
Pros: The renovated room and view
Cons: We were first provided a non renovated room that was not clean, requires a lot of maintenance. Our AC didn't work, ceiling and the mirror lights didn't work. On the 2nd day we informed the desk while heading out in the morning. The issues were not rectified upon our return. We called again prior to leaving for dinner. Upon our return, we noticed the lights were fixed but the AC didn't work all night. Neither was any follow through from the hotel regarding the issues. No follow up call to the room to check on us. Not a luxury service. On the 3rd morning I called and asked for the manager and the AFOM said she would upgrade to renovated room and waive the $40 upcharge as if it was a favor. We had not slept the night before and gladly accepted the offer.
Pros: Location, architecture, overall experience, elegance, staff readiness to please, convenience
Cons: Phones in the room didn't work, dental kit took too long to get delivered,
Pros: The location was fantastic. The pool area and terrace. The architecture and history of the building. Staff was wonderful.
Cons: Crowded, expensive, no wifi, average room.
Pros: Staying in a historic building in a great city. Didn't touch the car for 4 days. Great dining both in and around the hotel at a number of spots. Unbelievable views.
Cons: Only that I didn't plan on a longer stay.
Pros: The hotel staff is very professional and helpful, and location is close to most travel attractions. It's a landmark hotel with signifiant history.
Pros: The location in Old Town can't be beat. The staff was very helpful in suggesting & reserving dinner. Handled room issue with free upgrade when I didn't accept lesser room.
Cons: First impressions: a disaster! Tried to give us a double bed for our king reservation. Two of the three elevators were down. Took an hour for bags to make up to room. No towels in room when we arrived. The white wine had been used & filled with water!
Pros: Wonderful location, elegant hotel with great view and nice bar.
Cons: No concierge available much of the time. Elevator not always operating.
This world-renowned icon dominates the Quebec City skyline with its unique architecture. Ideally located inside the walls of Old Quebec, the landmark luxury hotel has undergone a multimillion dollar renaissance project that has repositioned it as one of the world's leading hotels. The restoration blends the charm of the hotels enchanting past with modern innovations, creating an allure that is fresh and seductive, balanced with the hotels rich history and dynamic future.
Pros: Proximity to all the attractions of Old Quebec make this an excellent and tasteful choice for the discerning traveller. Staff are warm and well presented. The hotel is very clean, and rooms comfortable. Meticulous! Well done, Manoir Victoria!
Cons: Paying $23 per day for parking, though I understand it, remains disappointing.
Located in the heart of the historic, culturally vibrant and gastronomic activity of Old Quebec, Hotel Manoir Victoria extends a warm and friendly welcome in an inviting decor that was recently renovated and upgraded: 156 rooms and suites. Free wi-fi internet Trendy atmosphere and inventive nordic-inspired cuisine at the new restaurant "Chez Boulay bistro boral". An indoor pool, sauna and fitness centre. An Internet lounge. Eight meeting and function rooms Indoor parking with valet service. "Le Spa du Manoir"
Pros: The owners were more than helpful and accommodating to our needs. Being frequent travelers themselves, they understand how to make guests feel welcome and at home.
Cons: Location is not ideal since a car or public transportation is needed to enter the city center. However, this is a very minor drawback when evaluating everything.
Auberge Jeunesse LouLou's Backpacker Hostel puts you within a 15-minute drive of Laval University and offers an airport shuttle (available on request) for CAD 12 per person. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking.
Pros: Spacious room, comfy bed, friendly staff, outstanding breakfast, free parking and free wifi. Quiet location within walking distance to the Shrine... the wonderful balcony with view of the River behind the hotel. Just amazing. I will go back.
Cons: My only complaint is I wanted to stay longer and could not...due to MY schedule.. no negatives comments what so ever.
Pros: Location, and nice room

Pros: The location is perfect for tourism in the old city. The bell staff took care of our car and luggage efficiently and were very helpful. They park in the underground lot below city hall right across the street. You can self park at lower cost but the lot fills up. Hotel is old but very well maintained.
Cons: Our room was very small. But everything worked well and it was clean.
Pros: Room was great for sleeping! Bathroom amenities were lovely! Bi-lingual staff. Wi-if. Accessible to all important sites. Old world charm.i
Cons: I could only open my closet door a few inches since it was blocked by a bed.
Pros: For an extra $20, they had no problem in moving me to a room with a desk and terrific views. I had a ton of work to do and the room was quiet and comfortable and allowed me to get it done ahead of an important meeting.
The bed was super comfortable. Just wish I'd had more time to sleep!
Pros: The location was great , and the staff were very helpful.
Pros: right in the heart of everything

Pros: Excellent professional staff very pleasant and friendly. Clean room. Excellent location around great restaurants coffee shops shopping and petite Champlain which was magical
Pros: The location is fantastic and staff was great. Room was very clean.
Cons: Did not include breakfast or parking ($25 per night). Only some outlets worked.
Pros: The hotel is close to downtown and easy to access restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: . .
Pros: Very nice room with courteous staff. Pleasantly surprised by the place.
Cons: The bar dud not open until late and the restaurant didn't serve dinner but with all of the bars and restaurants in Old Town, this didn't seem to pose a problem.
Pros: Location central to sites in old town
Pros: Loved the location! Staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: Rooms were very small. Parking. Taxes! Most of all, my grandson forgot his stuffed animal, Curious George, in room 622, there was no response to communication and he was not able to get it back! This is devastating for a 3 year old! I still hope that that can happen!

Hotel was clean, most of staff was friendly. Location was convenient to everything. Cost was expensive for size of room, especially when you add all the taxes and parking.
Pros: The location was convenient to everything in the old city.
Cons: We got a priceline confirmation ofXXX+ taxes per night, when we checked out it wasXXX + taxes.
would stay again and recommend to anyone going to Quebec, the location was in the middle of old town, lower town and all the places to visit. Very nice size room, restaurant, not the greatest but ok
Pros: location and charm of hotel/room
Cons: broken bed light fixture, expected a discount as could not read
Pros: Location was great for this botique hotel in the heart of the action. Rooms very clean and staff wonderful
Very few locations in Quebec City can offer the location and surroundings of the Hotel Ste-Anne. Situated in the heart of "Old Quebec upper town," in the shadow of famous Château Frontenac and inside the fortifications of the old city, it is ideally situated to give you a taste of the irresistible "old France" charm of Quebec City. In the hotel's immediate surroundings, guests will find a vast number of bars, restaurants, shops of all kinds, the famous "Rue du Trésor" street and its artists; the City Hall, the Wax Museum, the French America Museum, the Civilization Museum and the famous Dufferin Terrace of the Château Frontenac. The Quebec Parliament Buildings, the Convention Centre, the Cruise Terminal and the Louise Basin, which is the starting point for the excursions on majestic St-Lawrence River, are close by and accessible on foot.
The Hotel Sainte-Anne comprises 2 antique houses, which were combined and fully restored to maintain its charm yet offer every modern convenience. The location of the hotel and its terrace restaurant on the pedestrian-only section of Ste-Anne Street makes this hotel an ideal choice to discover this unique city in North America. A municipal parking lot (surcharge) is a half-block away.
The hotel features 28 rooms with every modern convenience including private bathroom and showers (some of them with bathtubs). Given its unique status of a historical building "inside the walls" of Old Quebec, all the rooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with the location. Several accommodations are attic rooms and 17 of them have stone or brick walls, which provide a unique decor and charm. For flexible capacity, connecting rooms, extra beds, and complimentary baby cots are available.
Cons: the personnel not at the bar the people don't give internet code and no explication for breakfest.. all the people discuss and doen't matter of you
Pros: nice room
Cons: you have to take a ferry to Quebec city. you have to drive there , park =6$ and take the ferry = 7$....at night you have a ferry once in houre .swimming pool is just a big Jacuzzi . you have to pay for breakfastthere is no refrigerator in the room.
Cons: Was really loud, lots of noise in hall
Pros: Nice large room. Good bed and linens. Nearby free parking.
Cons: Very hard to find. Street not on GPS. Should give nearest street that would be on GPS! Bathtub caulking was stained and had mildew. Hard to believe in a new hotel!
The room was modern, clean, and the quiet area was relaxing. It was also very close to the highway, which was convenient when we were leaving!
Pros: The customer service at the hotel was great. Our ferry back from Quebec City was running late, so I called the hotel and they made sure to relay the message to the shuttle driver, who waited.
Cons: The location is a bit out of the way, but I was aware when booking!
Overall, the hotel is newly renovated and well kept. Would stay here again for sure!!
Pros: Location close to highway and they provide a shuttle to the ferry terminal that goes to Quebec City.
Cons: The size of the pool was really small and it was way to hot. Went down to refresh after a long hot day and the water was like a hot tub.
Pros: Clean rooms. Nice restaurant in the building.
Cons: The noise from the Christmas parties carried through the room we had on the 7th floor. Too loud to sleep.
I've never stayed at at Four Points by Sheraton before. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was very elegant. The room had some disappointments for the picky stayer. I like to read at night. This wasn't possible as the only bed light was across the whole bed. It would keep my hubby awake. We were also traveling for a couple of weeks. We had items to put into a fridge. No fridge.
Pros: They were extremely helpful since when we got there, they didn't have a reservation for us.
Cons: No refrigerator.
Helpful staff, good location, room is bright and clean. I will definitely stay in the same hotel next time I'm in Quebec City.
Pros: The location is close to the trans Canada highway and therefore very suitable for travellers' stop over en-route to other destinations, ie the maritimes. The service was top-notch, the staff was extremely helpful and the facility is very clean.

Pros: I liked just about everything there. It's excellent.
Cons: The swimming pool is small, so I didn't bother to try it.
Hotel Chateau Laurier Quebec is a 2-minute walk from the walled city of Old Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a reputation for fine dining. Here, guests can browse the art shops and restaurants of Rue du Tresor, and stroll in the leafy Plains of Abraham park.
Pros: The rooms were spacious and clean. Comfortable beds too!
Cons: The shower head didn't move so our bathroom would get soaked every morning because it was a glass shower and there was nothing stopping the water from exiting the area.
Pros: Good location.
Cons: They were not very helpful wit directing to parking other than valet parking even though there is a lot right across the street.
Cons: The bed was a mattress on a piece of plywood... Very stiff
Pros: Convenient to downtown sites. Clean, friendly staff, nice restuarant. We would stay again if in the area.
Pros: Location in lower town and near the dock.
Cons: Exercise equipment in isrepair.
Each of the spacious suites of the Hotel Port-Royal offers a unique design, inspired by the original geometry of the existing walls.Modern technologies were skillfully integrated into the classical balance between wood, stone and light, thus enhancing the individual harmony of each room and giving it a distinctive cachet.A multidisciplinary team of architects and designers was gathered to create, from the contrasts between the colors, textures, and styles, an exceptionally refined atmosphere. Enhancing the individual harmony of each room, they came up with the perfect blend of yesteryear architecture and state-of-the-art decor. With a cosy Queen or King sized bed and a sofa bed, our suites can comfortably accommodate six adults. Each room includes an all equipped kitchen module with dishes and utensils, and vast storage spaces. The hotel restaurant offers room service. The bathrooms offer maximum comfort with bath/shower, some with separate shower cabins. All of our suites come equipped with a free high-speed wireless Internet connection.
Cons: We had breakfast at the restaurant and I had the lobster Benedict. The potatoes were stale and my eggs were full of egg shell. I let the waitress know and their solution was to discount 15%. The meal was over $20 and should have been removed.
There was a snow storm the day of checkisses out so I informed the FD that we may need to stay. When I went to check out around 2 pm, flight was departing, she said there would be no additional charge. Then she said because they made a new reservation that they would charge me $50 plus tax.
I think this is ridiculous. The hotel is well located with great views but is not modern or luxury but sterile. The food is over priced for the lack of quality of the food.
Pros: Outdoor heated pool and sauna were wonderful ways to warm up! We loved the view from our "river view" room.
