Location and facilities
Lovely clean hotel with great friendly staff
That you couldn't book parking before you got to the hotel. So i had to park about 10 mins away..
Our family pet could join us.
Breakfast service; the first day it took 22 minutes to be offered a hot drink and when the cup and saucer arrived there was a chunk out of the saucer.
Was ideal area for sight seeing, bars and restaurants. My partner is a massive Black Sabbath fan so being near to the bridge was an extra bonus for him.
That there were two lifts out of order at the time we visited. We waited for 10 mins on a couple of occasions as the ones that were working were full. We couldn't walk down the stairs as we were on the 10th floor so think it was a bit of an issue for quite a few people.
It was nice upon arrival even though the que was lengthy upon arrival. And it was convenient that it was connected to the ICC also the room service food was fast and good quality.
The TV didn't work. Reported it and was told it would be fixed later, came back 6 hours later from the Stallone event and still wasnt working. Iron was cheap and spilled water all over the clothes. I got a replacement later before going out. My partner went to the bar to get a coke and me a beer after the Stallone event. I nipped to the toilet she was still stood there when I got back and she explained that the staff served 3 new customer that came to the bar after her. There was two staff on and about 3 sets of customers when I came back to the bar. My partner was going to go back to the room. I went and spoke to the bar staff and explained the situation and they then did server me. My partner found the bar staff rude. Due to the big event being on we had to wait for 5 elevators opening on our floor before we could get down to the event. We had platinum tickets so you can understand how annoying this was.
