7.0 Good
Pros: The castle itself is very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom was very big and clean and the parking was free which is a big plus.
Cons: The cost for my dog was 20 Euro per night which is quite a lot. The room felt a bit "unfinished", lacking paintings or any kind of decoration. Possibly the place was being fixed up a bit since it was low season (other parts in the castle were for sure) and the price per night was not that high for a castle stay, but there was no mentioning of that so don't know if it is normal standard or not.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Breakfast was poor! Only let down! Just not enough food options!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What did we like? A list - wonderful welcome; fabulous food; great wine (their own); attention to detail; very friendly atmosphere; lovely location; dined ‘en famille’; large, comfortable rooms etc etc etc. We shall return.
Cons: Leaving.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms, beautiful garden and pool. Very friendly hostess/manager. Awesome French dinners!
Cons: Everything was great!!!
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: After having a nice stay, before leaving we told the staff that a part of the door was broken and next thing we know two male members of the staff were screaming at us like crazy calling us liars for saying that it was not our entire fault. They were incredibly rude.
7.1 Good
Pros: Stately mansion/castle in a small village. Big park/garden around the house. The electric system had been totally renewed. Big room with lots of floor space. Nice bathroom with Italian style shower.
Cons: The Booking.com confirmation gave a price of 242€ for two nights. We paid 280€. Bicycling is mentioned among activities. They have no bicycles. Same for kayaking. The photos on Booking.com show people fixing bicycles. We chose the place for the possibility of biking. Nearest bike rental is 5-7 km away. The wifi connection was extremely slow. So slow that it was nearly impossible to book an airline ticket, for example.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superfriendly people. I arrived yesterdayevening, and even there actually was no dinner planned at the chambre d’hotel, owner Jacqueline made me a wonderfull meal. The chateau is beautiful and the ambiance is great. Definitely will come back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an exceptional experience. Jacqueline made us feel welcome, and presented a very warm, comfortable environment. We chose to have dinner at the Château one evening, and enjoyed everything she prepared. Also, the breakfasts were excellent. The only downside is that we were there for only two nights. I could have stayed much longer, and will return!
Cons: There was nothing that needed improvement.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The small team of staff and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere were excellent. The beds were comfortable, the room huge and the building beautifully restored. The pool was especially welcome in the heat and the saline water much better than chlorine. The fact that there were several places to sit outside meant that you could move around in the shade.
Cons: There is a limited choice of other local restaurants and the hotel meals are very expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Apartment was huge, separate lounge area, superb park views from balcony, Food was outstsnding
Cons: An absolute gem of a stay, chateau located in stunning park setting. Staff, food, parking excellent. Only negative no lift. Apartments were huge

7.1 Good
Pros: It was very close to the castle and in the low season was 38€ a night. That is exactly how much it's worth. Happy
Cons: Very basic
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I was only staying one Night pasning through - check out was just to put room key and parking Remote In mailbox -very easy. Affordable space
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location and breakfast.
Cons: This was a very poor, dirty hotel which was more like a 3rd rate hostel. I took photos of all the defects including faulty power points; dirty shower and ripped shower curtain etc etc I would definitely not recommend this hotel/hostel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good value clean and tidy
Cons: Lack of staff in the evening
7.1 Good
Cons: Very very basic
6.0 Good
Pros: The location next to the castle is fabulous, a function that was extremely helpful to us.
Cons: There was nothing very unpleasant. The only notes are the issue of closing the reception in the early afternoon, which can be a nuisance for those who travel in the late afternoon and cannot leave their bags. One point that I think is unreasonable is the room being equipped with a kitchenette but to clean the utensils you have to buy, I don't see the difference between providing a dish detergent, a sponge and a dish towel and providing towels, sheets and shower gel.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Lack of flexibility with rebooking due to corona virus-very rude response from man on desk. Women were helpful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really very clean and the position was midway between the market square and the old Cité. Great views from the hotel, across the river bridge to the Cité. Staff very polite and helpful.
Cons: Didn’t quite understand why the bar didn’t open until late in the day and it seemed impossible to order any food when we needed it so had to go exploring to eat which was odd. Also while the hotel was far from being full we were told there would be an €80 charge to extend our checkout time by an hour which seemed unreasonable based upon the fact out room wasn’t cleaned each day until mid afternoon. Then again this is France I guess! Overall, very enjoyable stay.
4.0 Okay
Pros: - the views to the river and fortress. - front office ladies who attended us on our arrival and on our departure were very nice and professional
Cons: We had 3 rooms in this hotel. I am not sure who is the architect who designed the rooms in this hotel, but it seems nobody thought about the clients that are staying with you. In a 5* new hotel like yours, it is unacceptable to have such a horrible experience, to see that the hotel is understaffed, to see that there is not hotel manager on sunday morning, to see that there is no door to the shower and you are cold in the shower, to see that you can fall while getting out of the shower, to see that the minibar does not let you get in the room (and of course with the possibility to hit it and have an accident during the night while going to the toilet), to see that the hot water is not coming so that you can shower, to see that the phone is 4 meters away from the bed and it is not even working, etc, etc. This is not a level of a 5* hotel and it is not possible to charge clients the rates you are charging, while offering such rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the city centre and old city.
Cons: Nothing... all good, Would book a room with a view and balcony next time.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was ideal. The staff were very attentive and the rooms were cosy.
Cons: For the 5 star rating we would have liked more options for dining, there was no restaurant, the room service menu was too limited for children and the bar was very over-priced.

Pros: This is a very inexpensive option with free parking and just a short walk from the city walls. You get what you pay for, so although it’s not luxurious, it is comfortable, clean and has better facilities than expected. From the outside it looks a little like a uni halls of residence and it’s very basic, but still very good. Friendly and very helpful staff. Room for 6 (we were a party of 4) was clean, spacious and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and bedding clean. It was February but very warm inside. Apartment had lots of facilities including a coffee machine and dishwasher. (Bring your own paper filters for the coffee machine)

Cons: nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location with Parking. An indoor pool to relax in after a long drive Walking distance from the castle and town. Our apartment was spacious
Cons: Property is getting dated and fixtures and furnishings need a refresh. WiFi is clunky slow and basic. Need to log in after relatively short periods of inactivity . Frustrating if trying to work.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great receptionist, large room loads of hot water, excellent location for visiting the old town
Cons: Looking tired around the edges esp the car parks and foot paths. No plug for wash basin, no soap In the dispenser for bath, only 1 cup provided.

Pros: Excellent hotel. Amazing location with view to the Cité. Marylou in the reception was very friendly and helpful and speaks very good English. The hotel is a charming Country house style with beautiful garden. Breakfast is fresh and tasty. My bedroom was amazing! Big and super comfortable. I’d love to stay again and definitely recommend it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Has a lift for access to the upper floors. Short walk (upgrade) to the Cité. Free parking with easy in and out. Several rooms apparently had a good view of the Cité — ours, just a glimpse of tower tops, but did overlook a lovely garden.
Cons: Our stay was during a time with cool nights; even so, we needed to open window for cooling, which let in a couple of mosquitoes each night. Breakfast (extra) was great; dinner, less so.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The room was clean and with an excellent view of the Cité. It was handicapped friendly and I had no trouble getting around. I appreciated the 12:00 check out because I was very tired from travelling.
Cons: I thought everything was very good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Right next to La Cite so great location and easy to find with secure parking. Very dog-friendly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location near to the castle and a pool in the garden
Cons: Some of the staff in the restaurant are not so service minded but great food
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, just 5 min walk from La Cité. It’s a very comfortable hotel with good facilities.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better, with dairy free options apart from gluten free that they already have. The staff at breakfast wasn’t as kindly as you expect in a hotel.

Pros: Excelent facilities and amazing staff and location

Pros: Friendly staff. Great location. Caitlin was very helpful letting us know where best to eat.
Cons: Nothing. Came in feb/March. Not a lot going on locally.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location location location View from my bedroom terrace The parking is excellent. 7 euro per day.
Cons: The dining room is poor. Go out to eat
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From what we could tell, location seems best stay in Carcassonne, from its view, conditions and price. Room was good, balcony was big and view from it was like in presentation. Romanian lady, Andreea, was super friendly and helpful, too bad that we met her only on checkout, it could have helped us alot, if we would have met her earlier. Still appreciation to her to enthusiasm and way she described what to do, where to eat, where to go. Plan is to come back some day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view, the view, the view! We stayed for New Years Eve and really enjoyed looking over the Cité de Carcassonne, especially all light up at night. The bedrooms where clean and comfortable. Only a short walk into the main tourist spots too.
Cons: Tad pricy BUT it was New Years Eve and we had a view, with a location better than most, so only to be expected.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff provided me a room with a view of the river and of the Old City, highly recommended
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view and the attentiveness of the staff! As it was Valentine’s Day I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a bottle of wine in our bedroom. They called me to know my preferences and offered a few options. And the regional wine we picked was just AMAZING. The spa also, 1h is more than enough in silence, with the space just for yourself to enjoy a good relaxing time.
Cons: The parking is not in the hotel, is a public secured parking. It’s half block away, not that far, but it’s not specified on the description in details. The spa is not included in the price of your booking, it’s part of the Hilton hotel (it’s less than 20 steps to get to the building) and a bit over priced. But don’t regret paying for it because it was just great.

Cons: Breakfast was €15 for continental. Bit steep, not a load of choice. Bar was poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is centrally located in La Cité making it easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. Staff was kind efficient.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: After arriving at the secured hotel car park in the middle of the night and experiencing a little difficulty in communicating with the hotel, the night manager 'rescued us' and took us and our luggage to the hotel and made us most welcome. It transpired that he knew our home town having worked in Wales for two years!
Cons: There was nothing about this hotel or its staff that we didn't like and we would be happy to stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in the centre of a medieval city
Cons: Not a complaint but a bit of a warning: drinks are a little pricey in the bar.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location within the medieval walls...
Cons: Early morning noise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was ideally situated in the medieval heart of Carcassonne. The staff were professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location inside the Medieval city.
Cons: Getting there was quite a performance. I arrived in torrential rain and hail and took a taxi but was dropped off at a car park and had no idea where the hotel was! Eventually some other people arrived at the car park and I asked them. One turned out to be from the hotel to collect guests as no other cars are allowed inside the old city. I was greeted at reception by a very rude and unhelpful receptionist. That night I asked where the restaurant was and was told it was down the road. I had no coat on as I assumed it would be in the hotel and it was still raining. Again she was very surly so I gave up and ate the complimentary biscuits in my room. The next day’s receptionist was the complete opposite and was friendly and helpful. Again I had the same performance of being dropped at the car park to await my taxi - heaven help you if it doesn’t arrive. The hotel was full of character but was quite cold and very dimly lit, especially in the bedrooms where it was too dark to read.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A lot of restaurants around, far from Hotel. Front desk great, and Garage Attention Great too !!!! Very nice for a few Hooney Moon.
Cons: The restaurant from Hotel, very expensive and a poor Menu, very expensive we walk 250 mas we found a great menu for 15 euros. Dificult to find the Garage, but great attention.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was Incredible. Obviously the historic background made it very special.
Cons: Nothing other than the restaurant staff were a bit too serious about a product that was good, but not deserving of patronizing attitude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole castle is recreated with medieval ornaments. The staff drove us from the car park to the hotel due to the steep road. Our superior bedroom was connected directly to a garden. The service was excellent and retailer. I recommend the free guided visit with the knight around la Cité.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: LIkes: Fabulous view of the City over the Walls Overall feel of the hotel Comfort of the pillows and bed Best location for staying in the Old City Terrific breakfast Complimentary castle tickets
Cons: Dislikes Car has to be at least 200+ yards from the hotel--no private auto access--they use a small van to take you to the hotel. The room we were in was quite small--the closet door backed up to another needed door--constant banging. Chair for the desk had arms--could not go under the desk--another small room issue Partial glass separator for shower in the bath does a lousy job of keeping water in the tub Needs more electrical outlets--especially around the desk area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s amazing!! Like a fairy tale castle! Great service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel set within the city walls. What an experience. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite so our room was massive with a view over the square. Charlotte’s service at the front desk was fantastic. Nothing was too difficult and she made us feel like royalty. The bar outside is rock star with awesome views and a special ambience.
Cons: The hotel smelt a little bit of ‘old building’ smell
7.0 Good
Pros: The reception of all in special when taking you from parking to inside the walls where the hotel is located
Cons: Vert poor breakfast

Cons: Inside is a bit dated, wouldn’t recommend it as a long stay over, anything past 3 days and the dull interior of the room could make you a bit miserable.

Pros: Nice croissants tasty very good orange juice machine
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was huge & very comfy. Staff were excellent. The hotel was very clean & in a great location. Would definitely return & recommend to anyone wanting to explore the beautiful La Cité
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was limited but delicious and the staff were nice to me despite my franglais. The room was very clean and modern and had great channels for those who can understand french and in close proximity to the medieval city
Cons: There was a storm the second night of my stay... I didn’t want to leave the hotel and walk around in the wind and rain. Upon visiting the hotel restaurants there were NO vegetarian options. I understand it’s not common in europe to be vegetarian however it’s an easy dietary requirement to cater to! Also the rooms aren’t well soundproofed and when doors surrounding your room are opened, it sounds like someone has walked into your room! Not great but minor things that didn’t affect my stay too badly

Pros: 5min walking to the Cité
5.0 Okay
Pros: It is very close to the Medieval city, 10 minutes walking distance
Cons: There are no bedside tables, only big squares of hay instead. Unable to rest cups/telephones or anything on the top, the top is domed so everything falls off. The main light in the room had spider webs and dust all over it, it had obviously not been cleaned for a while
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast really good - 85 %. Place 85 % - really near of historical centre
Cons: We were really satisfied - 90 %.

7.5 Good
Pros: Nice hotel, great location, very clean, nice staff
7.9 Good
Pros: Good price, easy to park, fast checkin
Cons: The highly strong tobacco smell in the room.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great value for money, 10 minute drive into Carcassonne
7.9 Good
Pros: This chain of hotels is cheap for a reason. The services are basic, the facilities (i.e., shower and toilet) are communal, and overalll uninspiring. If all you want is a room for a night or two, this is a perfectly suitable and affordable place.
Cons: This was not the easiest place to find as it is just outside the city along the side of the freeway. A heads-up would have been nice.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was budget hotel good value and suited my needs.
Cons: Nothing it was as expected. Budget hotel get the head down and sleep
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fully automatized check-in: payment on a machine & to access code on the bill. When shower is not on the room, it will require from you kite a walk, and you'll get your trousers wet. Over all very good experience.
Cons: Walls are made of thin plastic.

Pros: Easy check in and nice staff
Cons: Difficult to find and the contact phone number is incorrect.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: There was not hot water for the morning shower the room was very small. It was the worst hotel I seen in my life
7.0 Good
Pros: Close to the motorway so good for an overnight stop.
Cons: One hot shower and then the water went cold. The staff were friendly but the evening receptionist seemed to be eating an evening meal when we arrived and the morning receptionists were both eating breakfast at the desk whilst we ate ours - not a very professional image to present.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The room was not clean
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed in Ibis hotels before and this one was as we had expected. Rooms clean and able to take the dog. Near to restaurants, although most are closed on a Sunday. Lady at reception on our arrival was wonderful and very helpful. Easy to find.

7.0 Good
Pros: The castle itself is very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
