Pros: From the moment I walked in the door of the hotel I felt very welcomed and was welcomed by a wonderful desk clerk who was cheery and upbeat. Customer service means a lot to me and I'd say this hotel has some really great staff. Very comfortable hotel.
Cons: That I could hear the TV pretty well from the hotel room next to me but it wasn't a huge problem just annoying and this is expected when staying in a hotel.
Pros: Free breakfast. Hampton Inns are always clean.
Pros: It was clean and the room was well appointed.
Cons: The front desk staff wasn't very welcoming. It was late in the day, on a cold afternoon, but she almost seemed bothered to wait on us.
Pros: Great location. Convenient to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Friendly, helpful staff -- gave a great dinner recommendation. Good breakfast included with room.
Cons: Not really.
Pros: The inclusive breakfast had something for everyone. The pool and jacuzzi was great. Quiet location. Neutrogena complimentary products. The gym was clean and had lots of options for working out. Ample parking.
Cons: The beds werent that comfortable. Rules in the pool area werent followed by others.
Pros: Clean, inviting quiet and reasonably priced.
Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and he breakfast was excellent
Was surprised there was no fridge and microwave in the room. I thought they were standard. I didn't really need it, so didn't ask if one was avasilable. Staff was very friendly. Close to lots of chain restarants and a supermarket.
Pros: Only hotel we found in Acadia National Park area open this early in the season (mid-April) with an indoor pool for the kids.
Cons: Worst breakfast we've experienced at any Hampton Inn. Definitely pre-cooked, frozen, and just reheated. Might have to do with this being the slow season at this particular location. Still better than any 'budget' motel free breakfast.
Pros: Excellent staff/breakfast and server at breakfast, clean facility, very comfortable bed.
Cons: No insulation under heat/ac unit, very very cold air came right in. Sensor over door turned off heat when there was no motion in the room- came back to 50 degree f room. No fan/vent in bathroom. Parking not very well plowed.
Pros: Loved the location, nice staff, breakfast, coffee/tea all day (soup during the week, room was quiet (with one exception - see what I didn't like), pool & whirlpool, room frig/microwave. All very convenient. The bed was comfortable too.
Cons: The one issue is the VERY loud heater/air conditioner in the rooms. When the fans come on you cannot hear the TV, conversations and I woke from sleep. When they are off, the room is cold. Too bad, because I did NOT get a good nights sleep for 4 nights.
Please don't send me other emails.
Cons: I didn't know it was that far from Bangor.
Hotel itself was great; had everything we needed; close to restaurants and stores we needed.
Pros: Cleanliness most of all, especially the top covering. Breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful and kind, lots of smiles.
Cons: It was great - would like to have been a little closer to Bar Harbor, but it was fine.

Pros: Towards the end of our stay there, I had a stroke which required me to be flown home to Pennsylvania. The staff, especially the owner Gina, bent over backwards to do anything she could for my wife. Not only was she concerned, but even the other guests were concerned for my health and safety. We WILL go back!

Pros: The helpful staff and the cleanliness of the room and hotel.
Cons: The chairs in the room were a bit small and uncomfortable and it would have been nice to have a slightly bigger table.
Pros: Hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Convient location to Bar Harbor
Pros: It is across the street from Shinbashi where I had come for a birthday party.
Pros: The hotel staff couldn't be nicer. The front desk people helped give us directions and let us know about events that were going on in town. The staff at breakfast was also great, greeting everyone as they came in and keeping everything stocked.
Cons: The refrigerator in our room was very noisy, keeping us up at night.
Pros: Convenient access to area attractions: Blue Hill, Acadia Nat'l Park, Schoonic Peninsula, etc.Friendly and efficient staff at reception, breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom small, basin separate off entrance.
Great hotel for the star level and very nice.
Pros: The room was nice and clean. I got more than I expected. The staff was nice and welcoming.
Cons: The location was a little hard to find at first but once I figured it out it was good.
One of the best Comfort Inns we have visited.
Pros: All staff from the breakfast room to the front desk to the cleaning staff were very friendly.
Pros: Close to mount desert island for hiking in Acadia park, schoodic peninsula, large room size
Cons: No pool for family with small children, small breakfast area which gets very crowded in the morning
We booked this hotel for a shopping trip to Bangor. All hotels in the Bangor area were booked. So the location wasn't great for us but the hotel was fine.
Pros: Very friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was really nice.
Very adequate for our 2 day stay. Thank You!
Pros: Friendly staff. Accessibility to desired locations.
Cons: We were not given a good orientation to logging on to the internet which caused some confusion.
We would probably stay there again
Pros: We were on the top floor making it quiet.

Pros: Room and bed were fine - clean, comfortable and expected amenities. Other things were not so great given the price: breakfast was awful, spa was
A sauna that looked uncomfortable for more than one couple to get in to, no elevator so have to take own luggage up or down steps to get to room.
Cons: See above
Cons: breakfast was very disappointing, all packaged food
also they didnt have good suggestions for dinner
the staff could have recommended driving to Bar harbor
Pros: I was so pleased with all the staff members we came in contact with. Polite, helpful, always smiling.
The breakfast is good, could have more options.
Location is excellent, with diners, fast food, supermarkets and pharmacies close by.
Whenever we put the do not disturb sign, the housekeepers left us bags of clean towels and coffee next to the door. Never saw that happen before. That's a plus for sure.
Cons: We wanted to try the pool but 2 days in a row the water was very cold. Disappointing. In their description it said heated pool but :( at least the sauna was there to warm us back up from trying the water.
Pros: The room was clean and tidy. It was a non smoking room that didn't smell of old smoke like some other hotel rooms, we have stayed in, which have been converted to non smoking. The staff were friendly and efficient. The continental breakfast, which included two hot dishes, was great value for money.
Cons: nothing to not like.

Pros: The price was the draw, and we had a suite upstairs that was very quiet. It included TV, microwave, fridge and was comfortable. We had A/C and the bath was tiny, but very clean and adequate. We were surprised to find freshly baked muffins (delicious) and a basket of fruit in the morning. The owner was delightful and friendly. For the price it was perfect for us. This hotel offers a variety of types of rooms, definitely no cookie cutter here!
Cons: No good way to enjoy breakfast in the room. We brought yogurt, fruit and rolls and had to balance them on our laps on a sofa. Could have used paper towels or a 'bar cloth' around the coffee maker for spills.

Pros: It was clean and adequate. OK for overnight .
Cons: Old facilities. The bathtub and sink were a 1950's blue. Electric outlets were few. I would not like it for extended stay.
Pros: Location. Close to the Ellsworth Downtown and only 20 miles from Acadia. The price compared to the other motels/hotels in the area.
Cons: The room had fresh paint and clean bathroom but the rug was dirty. You would think if the room was cleaned up they would clean/replace the carpet.
Jasper's Restaurant & Motel is a great choice for a stay in Ellsworth. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Jaspers Restaurant, which serves seafood and is open for lunch and dinner. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with room service and room service.
Pros: We stayed here for two nights and chose this hotel because of the heated indoor pool. The pool was cold, maybe 65. Our room was dirty (hair in the shower among others), and the shower was not easily adjustable between hot and cold. Not to mention how small the bathroom was. This place needs some major updating from the decor to the mattresses on the bed. We paid $80/night which may or may not sound expensive, but personally, I'd rather pay a little more ($100+/night) and be comfortable.
Pros: Courteous, friendly, helpful front desk clerk. Heated indoor swimming pool, cable tv, Reasonable price. Rooms were dated but very clean.
Cons: Small tv, doors not shutting well, No hot tub, even though it is advertised on their website and in the rooms.

Pros: The beds were clean and comfortable. The shower was hot. Our large dog was welcomed. Delicious blueberry muffins when we left. The owner was accommodating.
Cons: We questioned the structural integrity of this throwback to the mom & pop era of roadside motels, with decor to match. The office was not open for check-in when we arrived so we had to wait to get keys. No wifi in rooms.
Pros: Nice overwhelmed owner
Cons: Much maintenance needed. Much trash in yard
Cons: This place was a wreck and our room should never have been rented.
Words cannot express how bad this place was. Mold odors kept us awake. Did not even use the shower due to its condition
The end of the building was being held up with jacks.the entire decking across the front of the rooms had pulled away and walking on it was dangerous. If we had been a to arrive in daylight we would have canceled immediately.
