10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lobby and guest room were modern and beautiful. The staff was especially welcoming and warm. The lobby was decorated with contemporary comfortable sofas, open spaces with burning candles, wine bar, Nespresso coffee machines, wood and stone walls. The well-designed shower, bath and guest room were spacious and tastefully decorated. The room had a Nespresso machine, which I enjoyed. Additionally, our room had huge windows with a beautiful view. Adjoining the hotel was a restaurant with great food including breakfast (which was included with our room) and a full bar. This was a very enjoyable stay.
Cons: Our room-included breakfast was not available until 8:00. Due to the late time breakfast was served, we could not avail ourselves of the amenity that was included with our room. There were a number of electronic devices in our room, which was nice, but it made operating the TV much more complicated.

Pros: Great location in the old town, but just a block away from the really touristy loud area. Super clean, nice room, quiet. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful.
Cons: Bathroom little run down in some places (outside shower), but nothing major. Just wasn’t expecting it in a 4 star hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I found the staff at the Auberge St. Pierre to be extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to provide us with information about tours that we might like as a family travelling with a twelve year old. The concierge, Francine, was especially friendly and helpful and was able to inform us of a virtual reality activity that was excellent and suggested that we go to Chute Montmercy. The hotel itself was in an exceptional location in Old Quebec City. It was close to many of the sites. So close that we could walk to many of them. I liked that the hotel took on the responsibility of parking our truck and also stored our bikes for us. The staff was very professional and the facilities extremely clean. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit this beautiful city.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: 2 good restaurants for breakfast. Excellent dinner at the Italian restaurant Matto. Large room with large bathroom and very comfy bed. Foyer has a wine dispenser allowing you to have 3 alternative sizes of around 10 good wines, from a taster to a large glass, using a card which sends the charge to the room bill. Great location in Basse Ville.
6.8 Good
Pros: Very central location and very friendly & supportive staff
Cons: The size of the bed is for 2 persons far too small, even for my two children 16 and 18 years old, No fresh air in the rooms, windows are locked, aircondition device does just circulate the air, hence, humidity in the bathroom is quite high, it was impossible to dry the towels, thus, fresh towels have been required every day, which is not environmental friendly, price at check out was higher vs booking.com confirmation, however has been eventually corrected
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly! The bar and the restaurants are all better than expected. Although the bathroom in our particular room was small, the room itself was sizable and comfortable, as was the bed.
Cons: The only downside is check-in. Due to the deserved popularity of the hotel as a place to stay and as a site to see, the valet gets backed up and the check-in lines can be long. The staff do a great job though to make it not as miserable as it could be.

Pros: Service and Location are both excellent
Cons: Rooms are small

7.5 Good
Pros: Everything felt new. There were a Costco, a few restaurants, and a supermarket nearby (walking distance). The staff members were friendly.
Cons: Everything was decent except the moldy, dusty odour of the room (probably from the carpet). They gave me a different room, but it still had it, albeit weaker.

Pros: Lou Lou was an incredible host. And tour guide
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast. All home made and both mornings Lulú cooked different breakfast. I will remember them forever!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Friendly and informative owner.
Cons: The room was very small and, surprisingly, the toilet and the shower were right inside the bedroom, without any walls separating it from the bedroom. That is an unusual arrangement. The owner said she had other, bigger rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing amazing breakfast!!!!!! Easily a $25 per person breakfast at a restaurant. Hostess was absolutely wonderful and the room was great. Will go back for sure. I have never left a review but this one more than deserved the accolades.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Some of the best B&B breakfasts we've ever had. Great location on the island. Great view of the river and mountains. Wonderful host.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lulu's homemade breakfasts with fresh vegetables grown in the garden and quail and chicken eggs from the backyard coop were amazing! She gave us good advice for local attractions and we followed her suggestion to see the Canyon de Sainte-Anne—beautiful! We did not request a specific room but our room was spacious with a private shower/bath, toilet and sink. The quiet location was great for us, since we wanted to avoid the bustle of Quebec City but still have access to the city, island, and surrounding countryside. We were also able to chat with some other guests over breakfast. A fridge is available for guests to use, which we appreciated as we bought meat and cheese and picked strawberries—just don't forget your maple syrup like we did. Overall great experience!
Cons: The room was a bit cluttered with all of the eclectic decorations (but this is just part of the personality of the place). Lack of A/C was unfortunate as we traveled during the recent heat wave, but Lulu provided a fan which helped. The toilet was unexpectedly not separated from the rest of the room, although there was a closed (shared) toilet down the hall that we were free to use as needed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The conversations we everyone on site.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The decor was unusual but fun. The owner was a wonderful cook and very helpful with directions, support etc. The location made the B&B accessible to all parts of island. There was a problem with GPS
Cons: Difficult to use the GPS and the street numbering system has been changed. A bit difficult to locate.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, beautiful views, great outdoor aera, rich/diversified interior decor with a lot to discover in each room! The breakfast are also amazingly good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ver nice stay. Clean, inviting and one of a kind hostess. Has travelled a lot and stories to tell. Very interesting and memorable stay.

7.5 Good
Pros: Good hotel but in need for some renovation. Excellent location, several restaurants of good quality
Cons: Staff service mentality needs to significantly improve (I would describe it as 'not interested'/aloof). The gym and pool need urgent modernization. No Wifi in the gym (very annoying)

Pros: Spacious room, updated interiors, comfortable beds, clean and well maintained rooms and spaces, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, and for those traveling by car, on-site valet parking.

Pros: Got to try a local brew (beer)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was a modern hotel with very nice decor. Staff was very polite and friendly.
Cons: Outdoor parking was very small and had a dead end one way road. Which meant that we had to drive in reverse to exit the parking because it was full. Very dangerous. Also, the indoor underground parking spaces were very tight.Although there were two spaces between pillars there really wasn’t room for two cars unless they were smart cars. Every car was parked with a buffer so half the real capacity of parking spaces.

Pros: Didn't try the breakfast. The location was excellent. The street it was on had a good selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. The hotel was comfortable close to the Gare de Palais (I arrived by train) and the 800 and 801 buses for the old town were just outside. Excellent location for our weekend. Also, my daughter enjoyed the swimming pool.
Cons: There were no problems at all.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, interior and comfortable

Cons: Out the back of the hotel there are a lot of people using drugs outside of the church.

7.0 Good
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Bar and restaurant closes early. No bar at the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is new so that was a big plus. The room though is a bit on the smaller than what I would have expected. The pool was really nice.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The best feature of this hotel was its location. My husband and I loved being outside the most touristy parts of the city, and we found plenty of great eating and drinking options just a short walk away. To get to the tourist sites, we just had a short (uphill) walk, but there was a staircase and an elevator available to make it a bit easier in the heat.
Cons: The only issue we had with the room was the bathroom. There was only one hook for wet towels, and there wasn't a fan. It'd be great if the hotel added another hook on the back of the bathroom door.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed is really comfortable.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: You couldn't beat the convenience. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go and felt safe just going out for a walk later in the evening. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. Even though it is on a main street next to a park, we couldn't hear noise at night.
Cons: The bathroom is very small. It was obviously fit in the space. There was only a shower; the sink was a bowl on a shelf that was a bit high for me. The toilet had a pull chain. When people above us used the bathroom it sounded like it was raining. I missed my regular coffee but then I did when I was in Alabama as well.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, we had a great view of one of the gates of the wall surrounding Vieux-Qubec Quebec.
Cons: Bathroom small, old toilet with chain was held together with duct tape and had to be pulled a certain way to flush properly.
7.0 Good
Pros: The bed was good (king size), hotel had lots of character and close to Restaurants and shops and sites.
Cons: The room was not very spacious, no where to sit except the bed and no table except the desk and the bathroom was minuscule! Not enough pictures of the room to make an educated decision.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It felt like family. Service was exceptional!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming old building, terrific location, close parking, helpful staff, nice breakfast
Cons: No window in our room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a small, boutique hotel with an excellent location, an adequate breakfast, a comfortable room and bed, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was an easy walk from the hotel and just $17/night. We could get to every part of QC in a 15-20 min. walk, however the hotel is in the upper city so getting back to the hotel from most places is uphill. QC is a beautiful, clean, lively city and we can't wait to return, and we would definitely stay here again!
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: The A/C in the room was not functioning correctly. When mentioned to the hotel staff on two evenings we were told the hotel is old & A/C is controlled from the front desk & we could have a fan. It was extremely hot in the room. Resources at the hotel are controlled by the staff & they don't even want to provide ice. We were constantly being watched by the hotel staff when we came & went out on the town. We had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door but the maid let herself in our room when we were out.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This location in Old Town was enhanced with a good free breakfast. The elevator made access to the upper floors easier especially for moving luggage in and out. Paid parking was available just across the street and there was easy access to the Off & On tour bus.
Cons: The stairway entrance from the street to the lobby is difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Limited space in guestroom for luggage.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location. Charming room, very clean. The breakfast room was a little cramped and not a lot of choices, but everything very good, fruit, pastries, yoghourt, erc... I liked the code system to enter the room.
Cons: The air conditioning was too strong and couldnt be controlled individually. The room was cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was wonderful - location, helpful staff, breakfast, room comfort. We would definitely recommend this to friends, and return in the future.
Cons: Bathroom was miniature!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect close to all attractions. Amazing French free breakfast with more choices than able to eat Staff which goes out of way to be helpful with your room, questions on sights, and pleasing smile.
Cons: Nothing truly cants speak ill about the multi day experience.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel Cofortel, you'll be centrally located in L'Ancienne-Lorette, within a 10-minute drive of Laurier Quebec and Aquarium du Québec. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.8 Good
Pros: Free parking and free breakfast
Cons: Too far from the city of Quebec No pool
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It is like a motel and a hotel where we could park our car right besides our room and it was easy to unload the baggage from the car or leave the stuff inside the car and retrieve when we needed. The parking is free and so is the breakfast for the same cost we paid for the room. This is an added bonus closer to a big city. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sarah of the front desk helped in locating the hotel when we found difficulty with our GPS.
Cons: It is located a little far from the down town or the Old City of Quebec. In fact some GPS does not work with the city name under Quebec and it has to be L'Ancienne-Lo. This was a problem in locating the property with GPS assistance.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very calm and clean
Cons: The breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Overall very good stay for the price. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Nothing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room clean, bathroom clean, towels spotless and clean, bed comfy, super-friendly and nice staff, breakfast included in room price, free parking in front of the room.
Cons: They could only add a few meat and hot items to the breakfast ( bacon, sausages, eggs, ham...) and improve the quality of coffee.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: great staff, clean and comfortable
Cons: on going flood in the back parking behind rooms 109 to 115 where we stayed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The coffee in the room was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and well maintained. I wasn't sure about staying at a hotel that has a back door for you to park outside your room but it ended up being extremely convenient.
Cons: The air conditioning in our room went out in the middle of the night the last two nights, and the cleaning staff will replace your towels even if you hang them up.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Over priced
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very clean. Nice rooms.
Cons: Location Breakfast poor
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel, rooms, staff, service, breakfast, cleanliness...
