From the moment that the courteous uniformed doorman ushers you up the highly polished old-fashioned staircase and into the gleaming marble lobby of The Eliot, you will feel as though you've stepped into the hotel elegance of yesteryear. The warm and elegant decor and attention to detail in the guest rooms are more in keeping with a country manor house than a city hotel. Rooms are decorated in different pastel tones, including cream and soft ice blue, with gilt mirrors, plush furniture, floral arrangements, and rich upholsteries, including floor-to ceiling draperies around the windows and the headboard of the bed or beds.

The UNI restaurant at the Eliot Hotel operates under the direction of Ken Oringer, a multi-award-winning celebrity chef. At the Elliot, you can dine in or order room service from UNI. The menu comprises small plates inspired by street food from across the globe as well as innovative nigiri, sashimi, and makimono. The drink menu includes a wide selection of sake and wine by the glass or bottle, champagne, spirits, cocktails, beer, and cider. The room service menu is more limited but contains tried-and-true favorites including vegetable fried rice, miso soup, chow fun noodles, and more, along with selections of nigiri and makimono.

Guests can make a reservation for a deluxe guest room, which features either one queen bed or two double beds and is ideal for couples or people traveling on their own. The Elliot also features deluxe guest rooms with ADA adaptations. A one-bedroom suite separates the living room from the bedroom with elegant double French doors, and the living room features a queen sofa bed. A two-bedroom suite includes two bedrooms, two marble bathrooms, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Some standout amenities in all rooms include soundproof windows that you can open, umbrellas, complimentary overnight shoe shines, signature bathrobes, welcome amenities, and much more.

The Eliot Hotel features 1,422-square-feet of event space, including the Charles Eliot Room, an elegant room that features a cozy, functional fireplace and capacity for up to 40 dinner guests. The Eliot Hotel also offers the services of experienced professional event planners and the services and customized menus of the catering team led by Chef Ken Oringer. If you have a larger event, the Eliot Hotel can liaise between you and the Harvard Club next door. The Eliot also offers discount rates to groups of event guests staying at the hotel.

The Eliot Hotel welcomes dogs and cats, and guests are allowed two pets of any size with no weight limit, all for no additional surcharge. Make sure to mention that you will be bringing pets when you make your reservation in order to ensure that pet-friendly accommodations are available. Any pets left unattended in your hotel room must be crated. The Eliot has treats and pet bowls available for your beloved four-legged friends, but there is no pet relief area on site. However, there is a park across the street from the Eliot Hotel where you can take your dog.
