Pros: It was a good location for one night. The cottage we got was spacious and clean. Quiet place. Dog friendly. We planned a late arrival, and got a call from the host to give us instructions how to get to our place.
Cons: I would say, the only thing we did not like was the mattress.
Pros: Location was good, close to hiking opportunities. Liked access to the kitchenette, with stove, sink, and basic dishes, tableware.
Cons: Rooms were very dark. Cabin decor (hunting, fishing, beach themed items were everywhere) was over the top. Rooms had few windows, carpets and walls were dark. Did not like step up to bathroom, hard to see in dark room.
Pros: The place was very cozy and well kept. It's surrounded by the Huron-Manistee National Forest on all sides. Very well priced, I will absolutely return here.
Pros: The best that i liked is the Staff
Cons: The humidity
Pros: The cost was the best part of the overnight stay. The room appeared to be clean.
Cons: The room was very cramped for two adults. The television had many cable channels, but the picture quality from this old tube color TV was of poor quality. The bed had a blanket with hairs from previous guests. Gross!
Pros: I go to the Pere Marquette to fish. This hotel has served me well over the years. Nothing fancy, but a clean, dry, warm place to stay with a friendly staff. we all enjoyed the stay, and will be back.
Cons: Had lots of fruit flys, and rotten food under bed

Pros: Our host was amazing! He made sure everything we needed was available. He truly went above and beyond expectation. Our room was impeccably clean and breakfast was top notch delicious! Thank you for everything Lawrence! We'll be back for sure!
Cons: The was nothing we didn't like.
Pros: Location was perfect to explore the area.
Pros: Lawrence could not have been more hospitable or accommodating. Our needs were his top priority. Genuinely respectful of our privacy. Our accommodations could not have been better. - ADORED the Egyptian Cotton sheets!!! Breakfast was delicious and the presentation was truly impressive. Side note - for us, his four legged friends were one of the highlights of our stay. Beautiful animals who were well trained, well behaved and so enjoyable to watch.
Cons: Nothing to share here!
Pros: Lawrence is an extremely gracious host with a beautiful home and property. Went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and exceeded our expectations! (He makes the best blueberry pancakes)
Pros: Our host was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The house was beautiful and the breakfast was wonderful! Laurence, our host, even made chocolate chip cookies and had wine glasses available outside of our room (It was our anniversary). His breakfast presentation was absolutely beautiful with elegant fruit plates served on real plates and delicious main courses!! He had every luxury that we could have thought needing and even recommended great local restaurants. We will defiantly be returning on our next trip west. Maybe we will stay in the beautiful cabin behind the main house.
Pros: Excellent hospitality. Great breakfast with sweet talk time among guests and Lawrence. Friendly dogs and a cat, all well oriented.
Pros: The location is really awesome especially if you want something secluded. Lawrence was very accommodating and interested to know we were comfortable. The fireplace was a nice touch
Cons: The room was a little on the colder side for me especially using an electric heater for individual rooms can make it a little dry. Also, switching off the electric heater when you are out means you come back to a really cold room. The location does have dogs and a cat so would be good for anyone with allergies to know about.
