I had a horrible room, it was right near an ice making machine...which apparently everyone was using that night when I was trying to sleep. Also, the locks are horrible on the doors. And after coming home from a dinner, I couldnt even get in my room. Was really disappointed. Especially when the staff acted as though I was not competent to get into my room. At which point when they came to my room (security) I hadned them the key and he had trouble. He then asked me multiple times if someone else was in the room. Why would this matter? And why ask me multiple times if I told you no one else was in the room. He then explained it wouldnt be looked at till the next day and I should probably stay in my room. Excuse me??? Such a disappointment, a horrible night of sleep, which messed up my next day trying to be alert enough to be black diamonds.
Fabulous hotel in great location!! All the staff were efficient and pleasant. The online pics do NOT show how UPDATED & LOVELY the hotel room actually is. I stayed on the 4th-top floor and it was very quiet.
the valet staff
the bathtub does not drain properlyIt seems because i get rooms on priceline they always give me the crappiest room they can find
The location, staff, and rooms. The location is one of the best for the price. Walking distance to peaks 8 & 9 chair lifts. Across the street from Main Street. The staff was very friendly and I believe did a great job with our questions or needs.
The rooms are not insulated from external noises. You can hear pretty much anything occurring on the floor. Doors closing, normal conversations occurring in other rooms, and people walking through the halls are all clearly audible.I've stayed at the Village 3 times, so obviously I love the value, location, and cleanliness of the rooms, and staff vs. the external noises taking over the room. I just realize that when I stay here that I know I won't have to walk very far to enjoy all Breckenridge has to offer, and I won't be going to sleep at least until around midnight and will be getting up around seven AM.
GREAT STAFF! GREAT LOCATION
VERY NOISY, COULD HEAR EVERYTHING FROM SURROUNDING ROOMS, NO HD CHANNELS, WIFI WAS VERY SLOW AND OFTEN DID NOT EVEN WORK.
Room was very clean and had been updated.Nice hotel, great location in Breck. But they did wack us a $22 resort fee. We knew it was coming, but these resorts and hotels just don't get the fact it just leaves a bad taste in the customers mouth.
Location and friendly staff.
Bathroom way too small. Door nearly hits toilet. Cramped space. Air conditioning response not very good.
All the staff was awesome! Great walking location to most Breck has to offer.
Valet parking is the only option. Room could use a little update.
Location was convenient
Required valet parking, resort fee (for what?), layout/access somewhat confusing, room small and dark - thermostat not working, easy to hear neighboring roomsThis hotel has a great location in Breckenridge, convenient walking distance to Main St and skiing if that's what you're there for. (I wasn't). In my experience, location is the big plus. The room was small but clean. The layout was not very functional for anything but sleeping. It was easy to hear others on the floor when they were talking in normal voices, so I'm glad it wasn't peak ski season when I imagine it would be quite noisy. I was unpleasantly surprised to discover that valet parking was required even though there is a parking garage in the lowest levels of the building I stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which was a plus.
