Cons: Everything was fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Let me start by saying that I almost never do reviews. I think that we have gone way overboard in wanting reviews on anything and everything. That said, I felt impelled to do this one. The Bristol is an excellent small hotel that happened to be perfectly placed for our trip. The interior of the hotel has been extensively and attractively renovated. Our room was spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. The bath room is huge. The beds were very comfortable, if slightly short for me [6 ft.]. The roof-top bar has a great view is well staffed and is a really nice touch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In fact, everything about the hotel is first rate except for the restaurant. We stayed at the hotel for one night. On the evening of our arrival, we were tired and decided to eat in the hotel. My Lady ordered the grilled scallops while I ordered the Bolognese. The scallops were way over cooked. We know this because we like scallops and grill them all the time at home. If you grill a scallop for more than a minute or two on a side, depending on the size of the scallop, it’s going to be tough. I like Bolognese but this bowl looked like it had been sitting out for some time and reheated. It was not tasty. In fact, we didn’t eat much of our dinner at all. The desert was just as bad. The next morning, as we were in a hurry, we ordered a simple breakfast of two eggs sunny side, breakfast potatoes and bacon. We waited at least a half an hour to forty minutes before it came. In short, we would very definitely stay at the Bristol Hotel again. We would simply eat somewhere else.
Cons: See above.

Pros: This was probably my 4th time at this hotel. It's very convenient on and off the interstate. I have had a pet with me each time and the staff is always very helpful making sure I had a downstairs room and where was the best place to take them for potty.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly young man at check-in. The room was clean and somewhat updated recently. No carpet is a big plus! Close to downtown area (State Street)where we found a great little restaurant called Eatz that had great Southern fried catfish and BBQ. Everything on the menu looked wonderful which made it hard to choose.
Cons: Very close to a busy street. A police car drove by with sirens and it sounded like it was right outside the door, but that only happened once.

Cons: Nothing really. It is a very basic motel and serves a purpose and meets the need. I would stay there again.
6.5 Good

Cons: There was no vending machines and all the traffic noise, that was the most bad thing I could say about this place

4.6 Okay
Pros: Debbie at the front desk was extremely pleasant And helpful. She was very accommodating when I called to confirm online reservation. When we returned to say that our non smoking room smelt like smoke, she apologized, and gave us air freshener. Debbie was a pleasure to deal with.
Cons: Room was not cleaned properly. Bathroom was in need of updating, as walls were bubbled up with water damage and mold present on vent on ceiling. There was dirt on floor and hair present. Bottom of toilet was not clean. Bed had stain of dried liquid on side about 4 inches long.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was convenient. It was easy to get around the city from here.
Cons: Room was very dark. Wood flooring instead of carpeting. Bathroom was tiny which made no sense because there was an open area-closet-storage space that was @ 6' X 6' and some of this area could have been used to enlarge the bathroom. There was a desk in the room with a chair, but the small couch -it may have been a pullout couch-was stained and not comfortable to sit on. We were not able to enjoy the breakfast as there were only 3 or 4 tables which were always full. The scrambled eggs were always empty. The coffee cup lids did not fit the cups, so couldn't even enjoy that. We were there for 3 nights and never had breakfast there.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was very clean and bed was nicely made, very spacious. Perfect for us that were just passing through for the night.
Cons: Definitely been here a while, needs some small updates and repairs. Only accessable outlet was near the bathroom around the corner.

Cons: Everything
7.1 Good
Pros: The location to the historic downtown as well as to other attractions. The room has it’s own kitchen and a jacuzzi in the room.
Cons: I couldn’t control the air in my room and it smelled like cigarettes smoke from the vents. I had to clean the jacuzzi myself before using it. The room was not cleaned on the weekend.

Cons: road noise.

Pros: It's full of history
Cons: Nothing
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: not much
Cons: rm 315. gape under door, bugs came in at night-had to spray and put towel at base of door at night (yuck). Moved to another room after first night. Breakfast was sorely lacking.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Staff
Cons: When arriving had 2 switch rooms 3 times because everyone they put us in was dirty and had ac trouble. The staff finally gave us a room with clean beds and said the ac had been on for a few hours so it would be good. We had to get a fan from the office because the ac didnt work. There is alot of small things wrong with the room that could be fixed. Over all i wouldn't stay here again due to the ac and nastiness. Had to beg for a 2nd pillow for a full size bed!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was surprisingly clean & quiet. 14 miles from Bristol race track. Close to restaurants

7.5 Good
Pros: Looked brand new, and updated, close by everything.
Cons: They had 2 night minimum to stay. The front desk didnt remember when i called twice and spoke to her about making sure my reservation was still in tack now that i was checking in later.
4.8 Okay
Pros: cheap price. decent sized room,
Cons: as soon as checked into room got into shower and received call from front desk telling me the tv was on too loud. only noise was water running. was told in a rather rude way that i needed to keep the noise down or would be asked to leave. i told them come to room but that wasnt an option apparently. not to mention the front desk clerk didnt know how to use a credit card machine properly. so i had to pay half in cash other debit, not huge deal just inconvenient.

Pros: Area
Cons: Amenities, cleanliness, poor customer service, poor maintenance, poor quality breakfast. They use the absolute cheapest towels (which I would call thin rags), tissues, toilet paper, etc. that money can buy. The place really should be torn down. They are also so overpriced during race weekend for what you get it is beyond words.
7.4 Good
Pros: It was clean and the staff was friendly for the price it was about what I expected
Cons: The shower leaves a lot to be desired very low water pressure and water not very hot.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and had friendly staff
Cons: The hill/driveway to get up to it truly needs repair
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very kind to accommodate our late schedule. Breakfast made our day more convenient, so we had time to visit the museum nearby. Their gracious hospitality made our stay enjoyable, as did the care they have invested in improvements throughout the property from our room with all new fixtures and fabrics to the abundantly flowering shrubs bordering the sidewalk and parking area. The refrigerator, microwave and in room coffee were nice conveniences so that we could keep our fruit and snacks fresh during a hot time of the summer. The room, lobby and breakfast areas were very clean and well maintained. We definitely plan to return here for future trips.
Cons: There were no shortcomings.
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: The toilet ran constantly, sink didn’t drain properly, the bed was uncomfortable and there was no chair in the room. The free breakfast was a joke, I could have brought a box of Little Debbie honey buns.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The room was dirty. It smelled awful. No towels or wash cloth
Cons: Everrything
5.1 Okay
Pros: They put us in a king bedroom smoking and we don't smoke so we were hoping it didn't smell of smoke and it did not which was a good thing.
Cons: My wife needed an extra pillow and they didn't have one at the front desk so they gave her a few towels to fold up I thought that was kind of chincy.

3.1 Mediocre
Cons: The room was dirty. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed in ages and the bathroom sink hadn't been wiped down. But the sheets were clean.
2.8 Mediocre
Cons: I wasn't expecting a lot given the price, but even $50 should get you more than this. Room was dirty, smelled of smoke (even though I booked non-smoking), bugs were on the floors and walls. Didn't feel all that safe, either, with the seedy location and lack of a window on the front. I never do reviews, but this place was a waste of money. Lesson learned to spend the extra $30-40 and sleep somewhere safe, comfortable, and clean.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: That orea right offie highwaycigg
Cons: Cigarette burns on the comforter easy access for anyone to walk in from the sliding glass door the bathroom shower was filled with scum there were bugs the lights weren't working you had to use the phone to speak toThe worker at the desk so you never got interaction only when you picked up your key you did. And it's way overpriced 360 Dollars Is Way too much for just tonight store this place I will never go back and I am not a person to complain about hotels but this is by far the worst one I have Stayed at. It doesn't matter how horrible hotel and should never walk into a hotel and tell yourself you need to wear shoes or flip-flops everywhere you go you should feel comfortable enough to be barefoot or just wear socks in there and this was one of those places that I did not and I wish I could get a full refund back for refund in general but seeing as they do not talk to you and you can really get a hold of then it was horrible.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Cob webs everywhere. Patio door broke and wouldn't lock. Furniture nasty and broke. Would have rather stayed in car
