We welcome our homestays as part of our family and ensure they feel comfortable with above average, clean, and modern accommodation, well balanced meals (if requested), and an easy going, calm living environment. SHARED & PRIVATE LIVING OPTIONS AVAILABLE SHARED LIVING (upper floor): 2 furnished rooms for rent on our upper floor with private washroom. Common space shared with host. PRIVATE LIVING (1000SF 2-BED SUITE): 2 furnished rooms for rent on our lower level, in a fully private and newly renovated 1000SF suite w/kitchen (stainless appliances), dining, living, in-suite laundry, private entry. Host does not utilize or access this space. ABOUT THE HOST: We are a young couple, currently with no children, but a small and friendly fur baby, Pearl. We have been hosting students for 6 years and enjoy the company, cultures, and relationships we make and maintain even beyond the stay! We are active, working professionals, with flexible schedules. NEIGHBORHOOD & AMENITIES: We live in an active, quiet and safe neighborhood on Capital Hill in North Burnaby with the top rated views in the entire lower mainland. - 10 minutes to SFU, 10 mins to BCIT, 25-30mins to downtown Vancouver (catch the R5 two blocks down street - 2 min. walk), and a 5 min walk to Confederation Park & Community Centre with a new and modern library, indoor pool & fitness, track & fields, tennis, ping pong, picnic areas and more (see photo gallery). Included in all homestay bookings: - bed, fresh linens - desk, lamp - bedside table - closet w/organizer - clothes dresser - Wifi - private bathroom (upper level rooms) - tub/shower w/modern fixtures and finishes - weekly laundry service - meals (contact landlord for plans and pricing) - $500 refundable deposit required for longer than 1 month bookings.
