Quiet at night Room was very stuffy and AC machine was very loud, even in the low setting. We expected complimentary slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush considering the Hilton is a higher end hotel. But no.. And no complimentary water. These small things go a long way and it's ridiculous that we would have to pay $12 to stay at a hotel. Really unimpressed with the Hilton
Kayak messed up my booking, they booked me in a fully booked hotel
The hotel is in a nice location. It was very easy to get to and from Vancouver via the Skytrain. The hotel was clean and well maintained. No real concerns.
Location. Full breakfast.
Private entrance parking Price
Great location, clean room & enjoyed very much of a free breakfast buffet
Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Parking garage is very awkward and confusing. The parking spaces are small and narrow.
i don't have to stay here again? The Address we were given was wrong, as a result spent a good 30 min driving around the block looking for it. it isn't a dedicated hotel instead it shares a building with residence. lack of parking was a major issue the bathroom shower curtain was too short by about 2 feet as a result we had water into the room.
Loved the Element, so nice-great view, friendly staff, clean, and relaxing! Perfect. The location was not my favorite but it was not a bad area, I just prefer further North or West, but for Metro Vancouver it was very nice.
Excellent customer service...very clean rooms with great amenities. The continental breakfast are great. Pancakes are delicious. They even put out a water dish for dogs by the entrance. The white sangria from the bar was the best I've every had. Everything was great.
The beds were amazing. Seven foot wide and very comfortable. The breakfast were delicious too & quite reasonable The location meant it was far from a lot of things. At least 30 minute walk from the nearby shopping mall and train stop
I loved the friendly staff, cleanliness of the whole place, comfortable beds, good food and good price. I would like to see the cost of the internet included in the room cost.
The room was very nice and quiet. Restaurant was excellent. I was quoted at $397.00 for 3 nights before tax on booking.com but the hotel originally charged me $147/night. Tthe hotel reduced it to $139/night when I questioned their rate, which was better but still not the quoted price. There was confusion so I have to assume that the rates on booking.com are incorrect or.....
The free parking was appreciated, though not advertised. People were friendly throughout the stay. There were no tooth brushes and the airconditioner was very loud and would turn on and off. Understandably because it is an older building that was renovated. It would have been over priced had the full price been charged.
Pleasantly soft bed. They are obsessed with water it seamed. Almost got a six pack of bottled water at check in and looking around they offered infused chilled water at water stations. I have nothing bad to say, I really enjoyed my stay
comfortable bed, nice ammenities room key cards problematic, only 3rd card opened the door
Wonderful restaurant and dinner. Casinos nice addition staff professional and efficient towel bar in bathroom at front of sink makes it difficult to shave for him and apply makeup for her reaching over
Awesome stay. Great staff and very helpful in every ways. Thanks Keisha/Pauline :)
room key/card difficult to operate in both the elevator and the room
Ease of Location.
We like the excellent service and entertainment of the casino Other than the Casino, there was no other entertainment of restaurants within walking distance.
Front Desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room nicely appointed. Great value. We would stay there again.
Beautiful place to stay for my first time in Vancouver. Close to everything downtown.
great location for prior to a cruise! restaurant has excellent menu! delicious and healthyh!
the curteous staff, efficient, friendly, helpful and obliging we had bad weather
Beautiful location and elegant decor. Room and bedding very comfortable and spacious. All service was friendly and prompt. Bellman was especially helpful with information and very courteous. Very enjoyable.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Very comfortable, stunning views. Spending a lot of money on a 5 star hotel is OK but to be charged extra to use WIFI seems greedy. In 5 weeks in Canada this is the only hotel we stayed in which charged. It was also the most expensive.
Good location - upmarket service You have to go through the parking garage to get to the gym - and it was cold!
Proximity to the cruise ship terminal. Easy to get anywhere in the city by walking, bus or subway (Sky Rail). Extremely courteous staff, very helpful. Will definitely stay there in the future. Nothing
Location was most suitable to our needs Freindly staff
convenience location Extra charge for everything. food is very expensive
This is the perfect hotel to be close to the cruise terminal as well as for sightseeing, right next to Gastown, Chinatown, and the Skytrain. Had my reservation for a king sized bed, and when I entered the room, it was 2 doubles. Went down to get it changed, and the staff member (Elena?) said the rooms were fully booked and said that "the king sized was just a request". I persisted that I reserved a king and paid the price for a king, which was clearly printed on my reservation confirmation. She went to the back room to check with her manager, and finally came back out to change my room to a king size bed. It was a little troubling to have to put up a fight to get what I had reserved.
Staff we're very helpful and accommodating Room was super clean and surprisingly quiet considering how busy the hotel was Super convenient location Internet charge was a little outrageous
Very comfortable bed and pillows - Everything I needed was in the room. Check in and out were very fast. It was an enjoyable stay and the location was perfect.
good location and great confort. Could do with wi-fi No wi-fi
Loved being in the middle of the action on Robson street & walking to all of the shops. I did not like the tiny bathrooms.
The staff was very friendly. The location was very nice. The view was amazing. Lots of noise. We could hear neighbors just talking and laughing until 2:30 in the morning. You can hear all the traffic and business noises. No information on simple things like ice machines or vending machines.
The vibe and location is awesome! Nothing. All was great!
The front desk was very helpful. Being on one of the upper floors was great for the limited view of the water.
the view, the location, overpriced, hotel just generally need an update and some attention to detail if they're going to charge those rates.
Great upgrade, the view of the City was great.
I'll come back to this hotel . Everything is
Everything was delightful, except for figuring out the parking, which was also expensive, as all downtown parking is. Perfect location, lovely staff, extremely comfortable rooms. And to think we almost stayed at the Four Seasons! That we didn't get to stay longer!
Outstanding customer service from staff at all access points. I also appreciated that while they do have an award-winning fine dining restaurant, there was also a more cost-effective cafe within the hotel for more simple breakfast and lunch options. The location is a plus; we have stayed at other hotels closer to the water but we wanted to be further in the heart of downtown to be closer to art gallery & shopping; Rosewood Hotel Georgia was perfect. Thank you Kayak for making luxury a little more affordable!
Rooms. Service. Location.
Service was impeccable. Facilities were well kept, rooms were beautiful. A bit pricey without a discount, but absolutely amazing.
Excellent furnishings. Nothing.
The location is 2 blocks from the harbor, easy walk to convention center attractions as well as harbor walk to nearby Stanley park. The hotel, though very nice is showing its age, mostly in exterior architecture & room hallways. The pool/spa was a bit dirty and not very well lit. The lobby makes a great first impression but diminishes with interaction with the rest of the spaces...
Excellent access to the cruise terminal. A very comfy environment. We walked and used public transportation to make our way about the city, staying 3 days and two nights. We had no negative experiences or observations.
We stayed here while attending the Sea Wheeze festivities. We loved how close the location was to the convention center and the Stanley Park since that was where most of our weekend was spent. It was very nice stay. Would definitely stay here again.
Pinnacle is clearly an older hotel that has had a high style interior makeover. The lobby, cafe/bar and the guest rooms are all very stylish. For quite reasonable rates our room had harbor and convention center views. The room and bath were nicely appointed. Quality coffe was offered for the morning The exterior is lack luster and the elevators have not been upgraded and feel a bit rickety. Our room was a hallway away from the core and we could hear them on and off all night. All in all it out performed expectations.
Very nice and helpful staff. Awesome location. Nice lobby, restaurant/bar I booked a king but got a room with two twins (or two EXTREMELY small queens), bathroom wasn't very clean and bed and pillows were not very comfortable.
Great location, worth the extra money for the harbor view. Lots of great amenities, including use of the bikes because you are so close to the seawall and Stanley Park. Nice and friendly staff. TV often didn't work and had to restart it many times.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful .the accommodations were only so so and paying $300 USD for a $100 room was a downer.
1/ Location 2/ Friendly, helpful staff 3/ Great view from the breakfast room. 1/ Parking was a joke: expensive, very poorly laid out, difficult to find the way out and the way in. 2/ I found that $20 for a continental breakfast left me inclined to eat more than normal in an attempt to get my money's worth.
location Restauarnt tawdry: all furniture worn/torn, seriously in need of refurbishment. Security panels on doors and high-pressure door closers give impression of ongoing issues re security - perhaps unwarranted, but questionable.
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and great location! Pet friendly, they even included a special bed and bowls for my dog. They also provided treats to the dog every time we came back from walks.
The view was great, location was great and these made our stay perfect. The room was clean and maintained during our stay, the staff was courteous. All in all happy at the end.
Requested to change room due to the noise, The stuff found us a different room at 2 in the morning. Stayed a night on the 17th floor, the elevator sound was very loud through out the day and night. I couldn't fall asleep at all.
The air of sophistication and luxury. The ambience at the Fairmont Pacific Rim is hard to match. I liked the knowledgeable staff and their willingness to be of service to guests. House keeping can still improve in their cleanliness.
Personal service! Every need is met. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. For instance, Chef Nathan, who we met upstairs while looking over the menu, offered to make us special dinners in preparation for our marathon the next day. He led us to the casual restaurant and custom created pasta dishes for us! What a treat! It was delicious! Also, every encounter was greeted with such politeness! The live music was awesome. We were on the street side and it was quiet, unlike another report. I LOVE THIS HOTEL! Loved everything about it. Will be back!
Good location near Canada Place and the waterfront. Walking distance to Gaslamp. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with noise due to some late-night partiers and management upgraded and moved us the next day after quieting the offending room. Couldn't be happier with the quality and cleanliness all throughout. The cafes and restaurants were very convenient as well. We traveled with our three young children and everyone was very nice and respectful the entire time, we never felt out of place. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but could see that it was being used by kids on both days we were there. Room service was fantastic and the service was great as well. Not much we didn't like. It was a bit pricey but we felt we got great value considering it is a luxury property.
Room was clean, nothing fancy but fine and exactly what I expected for the money. No problem parking. I'd go there again. Not much close by if you're on foot, but luckily I wasn't. Check out was at 11:00. Went to the attached restaurant at 10:00. Food was good but service was very slow. Took an hour to get out of the restaurant. Got back to my room at 11:02 and found that my key had been deactivated. Had to go downstairs and get the front desk to reactivate my key so I could get my stuff and check out. Basically, breakfast for one and checkout took an hour and a half and put me behind schedule all day.
This is by far the best handicapped accessible room I have ever been in . Room very easily navigated with wheelchair . Bathroom is Wonderful ! Raised seat on toilet could be a little higher but works okay as is. Shower is to dream about , bars properly placed , You can walk into the shower without lifting your foot more than an inch. Sink allows wheelchair to fit underneath . All other motels should use this as a template . Staff were pleasant , service excellent , a most enjoyable experience . Oh yes, and the adjoining restaurant had great food , cheerful service. .
Hotel very clean with all facilities one could want. Location good for skytrain to downtown Vancouver and access to seabus. No complaints at all.
in the middle of a heat wave, the A/C was a life saver!, and the free ice didn't like the fact that there was a party outside my room till almost 2am, and hotel security had done nothing to quite them down.
The staff is very accomadating, very friendly. They always go out of their way to make sure the guests are enjoying their stay. I found a room there by chance in the middle of the night many months ago, just another hotel on the highway. Now I choose this inn and will stay there in the future.
The beautiful hanging plants outside, and the surprising peace and quiet despite a very busy, urban location. We also appreciated the free shuttle service to and from the Pacific National Exhibition.
It was very quiet and the room was clean and inviting. TV listings are very slow and you have no information about the shows. Having time between appointments is not a time to waste looking for a news channel.
clean,courteous,efficient.,economical,close to restaurants none
The price. The wifi is slow.
It was central to all the places we going to.
Location and easy internet access pop machine not working properly
Price was high for quality
Service Concierge, especially Miguel! night desk staff, Zach, Jennifer, & Wing! TV remote was too hard to read, & sometimes didn't work! However, the electrician was quick to arrive!
The staff were all friendly, courteous, and professional. The decor was elegant and comfortable without being ostentatious. Location was walking distance to many of our destinations during our visit. Street noise was virtually nil (fifth floor). Room service breakfast was delivered on-time, well presented, and tasty. Wifi should be included at no extra charge.
It's in a fairly convenient location, with a pretty lobby, clean rooms and a nice pool and hot tub area. There is 24 hour room service and the food is pretty good. They charge extra for wifi, they charge extra for using the business center (but you can ask the concierge to print and they will not charge you). I did not find the front desk to be friendly or accommodating. The double room is essentially two twin beds. The rooms are rather small.
The hotel was beautiful and luxurious, including all of the amenities. Loved the restaurant and the oyster bar. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Would definitely come back again.
Great hotel everything was so nice. The staff were so helpful. The rooms very comfortable and bedding was great!
Rooms, Staff, location and amenities made this a delightful stay overall. I'd stay here again for sure.
The hotel is centrally located in downtown Vancouver and is close to everything. The staff at the hotel, particularly those that work as the concierge, are amazing! I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Vancouver. They charge extra for WiFi, but you can access it for free in the lobby.
Great location. Great hotel.
Beautiful hotel. Great Location. Friendly Staff.
comfy bed. $20 wifi? it's 2014!!!
Location is great for Robson st shopping and eating. Parking and the Internet is expensive.
Hyatt was (again) an excellent choice. There was nothing to be desired. We were treated very well and the view from the room was fantastic! Friends traveling with us choose a different hotel in close proximity and it was nowhere close to Hyatt quality and comfort! They paid parking over $40 a day and our parking fees were much lower during the holiday weekend! We were very pleased during this stay!
Accessible to everything , nice staff , The Grain Bar is awesome , Starbucks on site . Fantastic , would highly Recomend it to everyone I know and will definetly Come Back and Stay None
Great location, great facilities, starbucks in the lobby, super efficient elevators so getting up and down from high floors is easy even during the busiest periods, comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms, excellent service from staff at all levels. An outstanding experience.
Breakfast was great! Rooms were clean and spacious.
Staff were excellent. From the front desk, bellman, housekeeping and concierge, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay extremely pleasant.
I accidentally left my wallet with my drivers license and credit cards and money in the room. The housekeeping staff was excellent in their professional conduct. The maid took the stuff to the housekeeping department. The lady there was very helpful. The entre contents were returned to me. I truly appreciate their honesty, integrity and helpfulness. I always expect to have a great stay at the Hyatt hotels, This made it even better.
Everything was generally good except for the wifi and thermostat in the room The "free" internet service in the room was unusable. I could connect, but the connection would drop after a minute or so. Could not reconnect without rebooting my laptop. The process would then repeat itself. Called tech support, who wanted to make configuration changes to my computer. Given this property is the only place where I've ever had a problem, I declined -- and went down to the lobby to use Starbucks' wifi. Also, could not get the room cool enough. Woke up in the middle of the night perspiring. A find this is a common issue in hotels these days with the occupancy sensing thermostats, but at this property the issue extended even to active periods in the room -- even with the temperature set to 65.
They refused to honor elite status or give Hyatt points for the stay. I am old Diamond member which is now called Globalist. But no privileges are extended for those booking through Kayak.
Great service and high quality rooms. Rooms need more plug ins, especially since one were found near the desk.
Size of room and amenities
A lovely hotel - great location and fabulous staff
The staff was incredibly professional with wonderful attitudes.
Super comfy bed. Great location. Room service was great but pricey. Tried to checkin at 240 when guaranteed is 3pm. Didn't have our room ready till 4pm. I had to inquire 3 times with 3 different people whom all assured us they would call or text me and inform guest services manager. Didn't happen. Bags took another 40 mins longer to come up as they insisted on delivering. Executive suite was nice but only 7th floor. Bad view of pool/buildings. Outdated inside suite. Mismatched door hardware and odd bath/shower setup. No soaker tubs. Won't be back in future. Considering Hotel Georgia or Westin or Pan Pacific.
I arrived at 2.0 pm and asked for my room, but it wasn't ready until 4.0pm. I reserved a deluxe suite with downtown view, but I got one with a swimming pool view. It was a bit challenging to get my room.
Aside from being everything I look for in a hotel—quiet, great views, luxuriously comfortable bed, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful architecture and decor throughout—its location really makes it special when it comes to exploring the city. It's perfectly situated along major bus and train routes, and you'll never spend more than a minute or so hailing a cab on the street (which is great, as there's currently no Uber or Lyft). Vancouver's already a super walkable city, but this makes it incredibly easy to get around without a car. Even then, you're never more than a few blocks from great food, art (the Vancouver Art Gallery is across the street), landmarks, parks, entertainment and shopping. It also smells phenomenal. Stay there.
The staff at this facility were very, very kind; and very, very helpful. The best I've ever encountered. Top marks.
This hotel was nice We had a good time there our negative has to be that we came back with bedbugs. This were found two days later. My wife killed one and had been bitten on her arms and neck area
Staff were very helpful Expensive.
Called 3 times to try to stop and retrieve a phone charger. Put on hold for too long, name, phone number and email taken. Promises to get back. no follow through 3 times. finally just bought a new charger before my next stop. You would think that a 5 stare $400/night would have a system for collecting, marking and storing items left in rooms.
The restaurant at Four Seasons had a delicious breakfast and the bed was super comfortable! The hotel feels a little old and worn down rather than luxurious, the gym is small, hot-tub was luke warm with no jet power, pool looks nice but it's small and shallow and there were silverfish in the sauna. On top of this I had some thing happen to me personally that didn't make it a great experience overall (things like the cleaning staff didn't come any day I was there).
Hotel is walking distance from Granville Island, Stanley Park, and the Aquarium. Close to great restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant is excellent.
Unbelievably attentive staff and attention to detail.
Fantastic customer service, staff friendly but professional. Bed incredibly cozy, just what I needed after a long flight from France. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
it's very clean. There's a full kitchen to use. Often there are not a lot of useful kitchen appliances, but I didn't cook so I can't remember if there were a lot of useful cooking tools. It's a quiet area in the neighbourhood. The people that communicate well, which seams like it means clear text messages, but there isn't much or any face to face contact. Like most B&B's in Vancouver, the breakfast isn't included. Tea and coffee doesn't meet my standards, but I have high standards. Personally, B&B's aren't for me. I prefer ones that feel homey, offer great food, more personable. If someone is going just to stay over night for bustiness reasons and needs a good sleep, it's perfect. If you're expecting an 'experience', I guess that's not what they are.
Good value and location. Modern home. No hand towels. Coffee filters didn't match machine, so it wouldn't drip, big mess. Cheap folding chairs in kitchen. Ash tray/table dirty and close to AC unit and entry doors. No notice of no breakfast on Kayak posting. I kept smelling mold in bathroom...looked clean though. "Whistler room".
Staff was incredible - arrived after major delay in trip and they were very welcoming and accommodating! Nothing to not like!
No complimentary WIFI -- it charges $15/day Expensive parking -- it charges $30/hr
Location - convenient for flights. Appalling lack of maintenance including: An electrical junction box with an extemporized, ill-fitting metal cover through which exposed wires could be seen, Shattered tiles in bathroom, Peeling wallpaper, Cracked sink, Stained carpets, Beat up furniture - scraped, scratched, chipped. For such an expensive hotel, this room was unacceptable but it was really late and we had a 6:00am flight next morning so we slept in it. I informed the clerk upon check out and got "So sorry, thanks for staying with us, bye". My advice: take the shuttle to an off-site hotel.
We just stepped off the plane and into our hotel. The bathroom doors didn't allow for complete privacy.
This is a very nice new hotel. What sets it apart though is its location. It is right in the airport steps from international terminal. Though more expensive than typical layover hotels, the convenience to us was more than worth it. No shuttle buses or taxis!
Watching the planes landing and taking off; being able to walk the concourse of YVR and people watching. We could hear the neighbours talking at night while we were trying to some sleep before an early morning flight ... not very sound-proof.
Proximity as well as view from our room. Breathtaking. Even with the view of the planes taking off we heard nothing because of the great soundproof windows. That our stay was too short to enjoy everything.
Very polite staff n efficiency in dealing with luggage. I had a bag full of smoked salmon that needed to be kept in the freezer overnight. Done.... Nothing.
Being inside the airport and being very quiet. For the amount of $$ the room was, I find it insulting for the hotel to charge over the Internet usage. Its an old business model that has to b changed. Absolutely not acceptable.
At the airport so very convenient Food in restaurant a bit expensive
It's very nice to be able to walk from your gate to the hotel and vice versa. The staff is polite and efficient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only real drawback is the price of everything. Vancouver is an expensive city, and airport property is expensive, even in more affordable cities, so you can imagine how expensive YVR ends up being.
We liked the proximity to the airport, the staff, size and cleanliness of the rooms. The sliding, louvred doors on the bathrooms.
The staff was amazing the rooms were impeccable the views in our corner suite were amazing !! Although the features of this hotel are truly amazing..... We were not able to stream music via Bluetooth into the stero system from our devices. My girlfriend had made a mix for my birthday celebration we had to listen to it from the iPad
Staff I have stayed at hotels that cost 2/3 the cost of this place in Vancouver and were just as nice if not better. I am very confused why I paid $600 a night to stay here.
Beautiful hotel and location Restaurant is excellent Try to do a breakfast package. Well worth it.
The location was good -- pretty central to downtown and only a short walk to the Skylink train. The living room was extremely small -- much smaller than the pictures on the website. It's not a room one would want to hang out in. So for the price, it didn't strike me as a good value. The check-in process occurs in a dark, run-down room in the hotel garage. I'd recommend the place for business travel. I'm not sure I'd recommend it for leisure travel.
The staff are amazing warm friendly and genuinely helpful. Beautiful hotel and good location. A calm oasis in a busy world
I really didn't like the attitude of the employees(specially the front desk) ..and the quality of the service doesn't high to a 5 or 4 stars hotel service..comparing to other shangri-la hotels world wide
The service was outstanding. We had two suites during the day of our wedding for both wedding parties to get ready in. All of our requests were completed in a timely and gracious manner. The staff was incredibly nice and overly helpful. Thank you for making our day that much easier. Nothing, it was a perfect stay for what we needed.
Modern, clean, quiet and efficient
Well appointed, modern, spacious. Construction noise. The hotel failed to warn us about this. We would avoided it.
It was a beautiful hotel and was reasonably priced.
cleanliness, modern, practical, amenities the after shampoo conditioner is impossible to get out of that bottle. please change your container!
Loved it all but found the staff to be extreemly friendly and helpful
Comfortable room and quiet floor. Nice to come back to a lovely room after a day of exploring Vancouver.
The room and the food. The hotel offered a free breakfast, but there was confusion with the on line booking. The offer system should be clarified. With other hotels offering a free breakfast i.e. Opus Hotel, the on line booking for the coupon was much simpler. The Hotel did honour the free breakfast.
Our room was very comfortable &the hotel location was ideal for getting around Vancouver. Meals in dining room were v expensive, especially breakfast & frankly I've had better hash browns at MacDonalds. We had a comparable breakfast at a similar hotel in Seattle that was 25% cheaper & and of better quality by far. I just hate to be taken advantage of in that way. The box of chocolates I received for staying didn't make up for poor food at an outrageous price - even if this is a luxury hotel.
excellent service with large rooms, and a very good location in the middle of the city rooms are bit old, but do have large flat screens TV
Superb location, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Elegant setting. The 2 of the restaurant staff could be a little on the snooty side!
Best hotel for service and ambiance in Vancouver nothing
Friendly professional staff Delightful breakfast in the beautiful Bacchus lounge Spacious room with quality linens and L'Occitaine products Great value Excellent location
Everything. From the most helpful and friendly staff, all of them, to the attention of waiters, bartenders, up to the Manager who stopped to chat while having breakfast. The room was large and well furnished. Not Applicable.
A truly great boutique hotel in an excellent downtown location. We usually prefer to dine out at night, but could not resist the lure of the wonderful atmosphere & superb food in house.I suspect all staff are highly trained in delivering excellent customer care & certainly they deliver it.The Wedgewood was a wonderful experience over the four nights we spent there. We would be cranks if we did !
The location is excellent. The service was first class. The restaurant 'Bacchus' was also excellent. I would definitely stay there again.
Amazing staff, clean, beautiful room with deck. And the most comfortable beds and bedding.
Great bar and restaurant. friendly staff. very comfortable / luxurious rooms. windows are older not well insulated for sound. A bit noisy as it is downtown
Staff and room, very accommodating for acccessability early and late checkout. Breakfast selection was good and staff in breakfast very pleasant and helpful Will definitely stay there for my upcoming stays. All was good, no concerns.
Location was alright Hair in bed (the hair was not mine. This means the room was not sufficiently cleaned)

Newly remodeled hotel, everything is sparking clean. Still in the construction mode. Construction materials on site created limited parking spaces.
Very good continental breakfast, very clean, good selection. Great location to shopping, transit and free access to Steve Nash workout centre. Well this is Vancouver, after all, but very busy street ..especially getting out on Kingsway. Not a deal breaker, but you are going to wait to pull coming and going.
Good location, nice rooms, excellent breakfast.

It's always clean and it's in a good location. The skytrain is just down the street at metrotown and it is easy to get to the transcanada hwy and The lougheed hwy
The front desk staff were cheerful and helpful.Breakfast was nice but not as nice as the breakfast at the BW we stayed at in the Abbotsford area. Our room was very poorly designed. The door to the tub and toilet room opened onto the sink area and so did the only closet door. There was hardly any room to move even with only two people in the room. The exterior stairs are run down.
The room was small but nicely renovated and well set up. Lots of construction made it difficult to access some of the amenities. Being on the second floor was great noise wise but made hauling luggage up and down the stairs a little less than desirable.
Arrogant staff at check in Air conditioning very noisy and hard to adjust. Major construction work with limited access to parkink lot not recommended
The location was convenient, staff was welcoming and helpful, breakfast on site for $18 for two, 20% off dinner in Irish pub on site, computer and printer in lobby for orintg our boarding passes, room was quiet at back, jacuzzi tub. Elevator broken so half off, great value at $67 plus tax. Walk up, but we didn't mind. Front rooms on Granville may be a bit noisier, not sure. We asked for at the back.
The lady that checked me in. That's about it. Started with no early check ins, we were a few hours early. We ended up having to walk around downtown Vancouver for four hours before we could get in our room; which is understandable...but they didn't offer luggage storage, and they didn't suggest any things that we could do in the hours we waited, (in fact we wre pretty much ignored until check in time). We had to pack our entire car in the trunk and keep checking back on it. When we did finally get checked in, there was a fight that broke out in the lobby between a man and who I believe was the manager of the hotel. Our bed was uncomfortable, it sunk like a hammock. The lamp was broken & there was little to no light. I was charged for four people but ended up with only three, and they couldn't give me a refund for the one person that wasnt there. Also, they failed to mention that we get 20% off at the pub downstairs until we already ate & paid.
The rooms were clean and the location was great. Very central. The room was way smaller than described in pictures, they really should have a better description.
Staff was great, very helpful and kind.
Liked Irish Pub on the first floor, clean room and convenient beds Noise from outside after party crowds, air conditioner vent faces one of the beds too directly, no refrigerator
The hotel room was very nice and clean. We could tell that it had been recently renovated. Free coffee in the lobby all day was a nice touch. KAYAKs site clearly stated that the parking was free but when we checked in, the hotel staff said that the parking is never free. I am currently going back and forth trying to get reimbursed for the parking that I had to pay for. Had I known that I would have had to pay for parking, I would have stayed elsewhere. Especially since the parking lot was not covered and the hotel is located in an extremely active nightclub area. I worried about my car the whole time and the management was rude to me when I tried to explain my issue.
Bed comfort, bathroom, wifi. Too much noise from the street - needs triple glazing.
Convenient location for concert goers Rooms are extremely small and cramped, bed was lumpy. If you get a room facing Granville, expect really loud noises all night long as it's the party district. Ear plugs didn't help. Didn't know this when we booked.
Very good location and good deal for the money. It might not be a good place for families being above a bar and night club and on the busiest party street in Vancouver.
Staff curteous/friendly Handicapped had to enter hotel thru noisy pub
Professional, helpful staff Clean room, no odours Too much noise in the small hours from Granville Street partiers Bed was too soft Small room, tight quarters
Clean room Comfortable bed No coffee in room TV remote not working beverage containers left on hallway window sills stairwells were in need of cleaning and painting
Great for a family and the suite they put us in was very great. The sofa bed was separate from the main bedroom and so people who want privacy could stay there. It fit us very well. A little bar sink and full frig was excellent . Staff was highly accommodating and the girl at the front counter multitasked like you wouldn't believe. A great stay.
Bath tub was gross, building was old, no tv in seating area
Comfortable bed, very quiet hotel, no traffic noise that we could hear at night. Overall it is a good place to stay.
I like the staff. They are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not included with the price of our room. We have to go out to find our own food. The restaurant inside the hotel was very expensive for the quality and quantity of food ordered. We decided not to go back there for another meal. Slow service too.
Location The place is tired and the staff - well . English is not their first language. The A/C was off most of the time so it was sticky from the time you entered the worn out elevator till you get into your 20 year old room. The 12 year old TV'S are the newest part of your stay.
Made the reservation. One hour later had my meetings changed. They would not allow me to change it by one night. Called the manager and left messages, no one would even return my call.
Proximity to skytrain Toilet float assembly not working, running too long, wasting water, sink stopper didn't work at all (pulled lever right out of the back when I pulled it up to fill the sink). There has to be minimal, if any, sound deadening between floors, I stayed at this hotel years ago on a fairly regular basis and would not stay there again.
Rooms were a decent size Not very organized didn't have reservation. Once they found it was ok Overpriced
We stayed here for our trip to Mt Seymour. We got in at dinner time and there is a cactus club and Boston pizza right in front of the hotel. Also a tim hortons for our early morning drive to the mouton :) Our room was awsome for the price :)
We were able to have guests in our room and not have to sit on the bed to visit. Quiet, clean and comfortable. We were NOT told at check in that we could get a $2.00 discount on the breakfast at that time. The waiter told us as we were getting our bill but there was no discount granted then. We found the restaurant to be very expensive.
the complimentary massage VERY difficult to get from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the cruiseline. When we asked for help, the staff did not offer assistance other than to say "I don't know".
Location re: airport. Difficult finding when returning from city (from north).
The room was clean. Check in/out was easy. Good restaurant next door. The television didn't work and the Internet was so bad that it may as well have not existed.
Close to the airport Room was stuffy and cramped. Trash under the bed. Did not have a clean feel to it. Check in staff never smiled. Think I will try air b&b next time
Bed and pillows were comfortable. TV was nice. Also, having a frig was handy. Too much furniture crammed into small room. Our microwave did not work.
Hotel was awesome we loved the pool but wished there was changrooms in the pool area overall five starts for sure
Great location enabled us to get to the airport quickly. Quiet on the floor.
Not much. Continental breakfast was the worst I've seen. TV didn't work Wifi was really slow. Bed was uncomfortable. Heater just blew cold air very loudly and constantly all night. Had a very poor sleep, at best only an hour or so.
This hotel is not far from the airport. Staff are friendly. The facilities are enough for short stay, such as an indoor swimming pool and a table pool. Restaurants such as Tim Horton are nearby. Shuttle bus is provided to and from the airport. As we only stayed for a night for layover, it is good enough. The hotel looks outdated. There is only one elevator for all floors. One ice machine is located on the lobby for all floors.
There is a free shuttle to the airport however the first driver was a speed demon and made me a little nervous. The driver in the morning was much calmer. The room was in desperate need of renovation. It was dark, the window was so dirty and I could only open it a few inches. The "air recirculator" didn't work and it was very stuffy. There was old dingy carpeting on the floor, drapery that didn't completely close and mold in the grout in the bathroom. I did not feel comfortable staying there although the bed was satisfactory.
Located near the Vancouver airport, shuttle. First (non smoking) room smelled like an ashtray. second room had stains in various areas of the rug. We found bits of food in the bed linen. The hotel is aging and needs a refresh. And it needs to polish itscleaning procedure.
Room was a good size and well equipped. Shower was great. Food in the attached restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced. Very convenient location - easy access to the freeway into Vancouver. Parts of the hotel are showing it's age, but as long as you can live with that it's a good option,.
I liked the free shuttle from the airport but the shuttle broke down & we had to drag our luggage about a mile. Nobody's fault. The room was nice for a one night stay. We had no problems. Hotel personnel were very friendly. I don't really have any negatives to mention
