Location. Full breakfast.
Great location, clean room & enjoyed very much of a free breakfast buffet
Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Parking garage is very awkward and confusing. The parking spaces are small and narrow.
The hotel is in a nice location. It was very easy to get to and from Vancouver via the Skytrain. The hotel was clean and well maintained. No real concerns.
Private entrance parking Price
Quiet at night Room was very stuffy and AC machine was very loud, even in the low setting. We expected complimentary slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush considering the Hilton is a higher end hotel. But no.. And no complimentary water. These small things go a long way and it's ridiculous that we would have to pay $12 to stay at a hotel. Really unimpressed with the Hilton
Price was high for quality
This is by far the best handicapped accessible room I have ever been in . Room very easily navigated with wheelchair . Bathroom is Wonderful ! Raised seat on toilet could be a little higher but works okay as is. Shower is to dream about , bars properly placed , You can walk into the shower without lifting your foot more than an inch. Sink allows wheelchair to fit underneath . All other motels should use this as a template . Staff were pleasant , service excellent , a most enjoyable experience . Oh yes, and the adjoining restaurant had great food , cheerful service. .
The price. The wifi is slow.
in the middle of a heat wave, the A/C was a life saver!, and the free ice didn't like the fact that there was a party outside my room till almost 2am, and hotel security had done nothing to quite them down.
Hotel very clean with all facilities one could want. Location good for skytrain to downtown Vancouver and access to seabus. No complaints at all.
It was very quiet and the room was clean and inviting. TV listings are very slow and you have no information about the shows. Having time between appointments is not a time to waste looking for a news channel.
The beautiful hanging plants outside, and the surprising peace and quiet despite a very busy, urban location. We also appreciated the free shuttle service to and from the Pacific National Exhibition.
Location and easy internet access pop machine not working properly
Room was clean, nothing fancy but fine and exactly what I expected for the money. No problem parking. I'd go there again. Not much close by if you're on foot, but luckily I wasn't. Check out was at 11:00. Went to the attached restaurant at 10:00. Food was good but service was very slow. Took an hour to get out of the restaurant. Got back to my room at 11:02 and found that my key had been deactivated. Had to go downstairs and get the front desk to reactivate my key so I could get my stuff and check out. Basically, breakfast for one and checkout took an hour and a half and put me behind schedule all day.
It was central to all the places we going to.
clean,courteous,efficient.,economical,close to restaurants none
The staff is very accomadating, very friendly. They always go out of their way to make sure the guests are enjoying their stay. I found a room there by chance in the middle of the night many months ago, just another hotel on the highway. Now I choose this inn and will stay there in the future.
Location The place is tired and the staff - well . English is not their first language. The A/C was off most of the time so it was sticky from the time you entered the worn out elevator till you get into your 20 year old room. The 12 year old TV'S are the newest part of your stay.
Comfortable bed, very quiet hotel, no traffic noise that we could hear at night. Overall it is a good place to stay.
Great for a family and the suite they put us in was very great. The sofa bed was separate from the main bedroom and so people who want privacy could stay there. It fit us very well. A little bar sink and full frig was excellent . Staff was highly accommodating and the girl at the front counter multitasked like you wouldn't believe. A great stay.
Bath tub was gross, building was old, no tv in seating area
Rooms were a decent size Not very organized didn't have reservation. Once they found it was ok Overpriced
Made the reservation. One hour later had my meetings changed. They would not allow me to change it by one night. Called the manager and left messages, no one would even return my call.
Clean room Comfortable bed No coffee in room TV remote not working beverage containers left on hallway window sills stairwells were in need of cleaning and painting
Proximity to skytrain Toilet float assembly not working, running too long, wasting water, sink stopper didn't work at all (pulled lever right out of the back when I pulled it up to fill the sink). There has to be minimal, if any, sound deadening between floors, I stayed at this hotel years ago on a fairly regular basis and would not stay there again.
We stayed here for our trip to Mt Seymour. We got in at dinner time and there is a cactus club and Boston pizza right in front of the hotel. Also a tim hortons for our early morning drive to the mouton :) Our room was awsome for the price :)
I like the staff. They are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not included with the price of our room. We have to go out to find our own food. The restaurant inside the hotel was very expensive for the quality and quantity of food ordered. We decided not to go back there for another meal. Slow service too.
We were able to have guests in our room and not have to sit on the bed to visit. Quiet, clean and comfortable. We were NOT told at check in that we could get a $2.00 discount on the breakfast at that time. The waiter told us as we were getting our bill but there was no discount granted then. We found the restaurant to be very expensive.
the complimentary massage VERY difficult to get from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the cruiseline. When we asked for help, the staff did not offer assistance other than to say "I don't know".
The staff goes out of their way to look out for their guest. The on going renovations is a bit of a pain
Very good continental breakfast, very clean, good selection. Great location to shopping, transit and free access to Steve Nash workout centre. Well this is Vancouver, after all, but very busy street ..especially getting out on Kingsway. Not a deal breaker, but you are going to wait to pull coming and going.
Arrogant staff at check in Air conditioning very noisy and hard to adjust. Major construction work with limited access to parkink lot not recommended
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
It was close to friends we were visiting..The breakfast was very good. The second day of our stay the breakfast room seemed to be overwhelmed and temporarily ran out of several items. They did their best to catch up and remained friendly throughout.
super comfy beds clean room awesome pool great breakfast construction, but it didn't matter much.
Wonderfully large rooms with kitchenette in it. Website talks about being pet friendly but no mention of the 15$ cleaning fee. The amount isn't the issue just would have like to have seen it prior to checking in.
The room was small but nicely renovated and well set up. Lots of construction made it difficult to access some of the amenities. Being on the second floor was great noise wise but made hauling luggage up and down the stairs a little less than desirable.
This hotel is under major construction. The walkways are covered in construction materials that you can trip over (sand and tile pieces, wire mesh and temporary plywood safety railings.) Even the stairs were slippery with debris. Many more to list...

Newly remodeled hotel, everything is sparking clean. Still in the construction mode. Construction materials on site created limited parking spaces.
Please let people know if hotel is under construction Under construction ? Wats going on Should told us Mud, sand, and construction material around
Man behind the counter was very cool and patient with us apon entering our room.
The main reason we stayed there was because it was located a block and a half from my sons home.
the carpet was very dirty in the room and also in the hallway aside from that the hotel is very nice
Leaving Vancouver BC size of bathroom, tatered towels, light out in bathroom, had to squeeze through door to enter room.
I was so glad to find a motel within walking distance of the George Derby retirement home so that I could visit my dad. The staff were very kind and upgraded my room to one with a fridge. I truly appreciated that. The breakfast was a nice touch and completely adequate. Sadly the place is quite run down and the hallways are very noisy when people are talking in them. Updating the rooms and hallways would be a good thing.
It was great in comparison to what I paid for it. Tissue paper box and moisturizer were not replaced when they were finished, otherwise nothing was bad.
air conditioning, beds comfortable, fridge, hair dryer, continental breakfast was good no elevator, breakfast served in the lobby rather than in a separate room
This hotel was quiet,..perfect for the nature of my visit. It was clean. Hotel staff friendly. Good location. Only that the 'continental breakfast' was very minimal, and available between say 6am to 10am but I found one morning after 6am the coffee still hadn't been made and one morning the muffins and fruit hadn't been put out right away
The staff was always friendly and informative.
The A/C should have been better. We don't get that hot of days in the lower mainland and the room was hotter than outside and very stuffy! Had trouble sleeping from the heat.
I like that hotel, but I booked 7rooms. They gave me 6rooms first day. You have be careful
We needed maps to get to several places and staff took time to google maps for us and give directions to start out.
Wonderful restaurant and dinner. Casinos nice addition staff professional and efficient towel bar in bathroom at front of sink makes it difficult to shave for him and apply makeup for her reaching over
room key/card difficult to operate in both the elevator and the room
Ease of Location.
The free parking was appreciated, though not advertised. People were friendly throughout the stay. There were no tooth brushes and the airconditioner was very loud and would turn on and off. Understandably because it is an older building that was renovated. It would have been over priced had the full price been charged.
comfortable bed, nice ammenities room key cards problematic, only 3rd card opened the door
Front Desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room nicely appointed. Great value. We would stay there again.
The beds were amazing. Seven foot wide and very comfortable. The breakfast were delicious too & quite reasonable The location meant it was far from a lot of things. At least 30 minute walk from the nearby shopping mall and train stop
The room was very nice and quiet. Restaurant was excellent. I was quoted at $397.00 for 3 nights before tax on booking.com but the hotel originally charged me $147/night. Tthe hotel reduced it to $139/night when I questioned their rate, which was better but still not the quoted price. There was confusion so I have to assume that the rates on booking.com are incorrect or.....
I liked that we could come in late and still have somewhere to unwind or get something to eat
Awesome stay. Great staff and very helpful in every ways. Thanks Keisha/Pauline :)
We like the excellent service and entertainment of the casino Other than the Casino, there was no other entertainment of restaurants within walking distance.
I loved the friendly staff, cleanliness of the whole place, comfortable beds, good food and good price. I would like to see the cost of the internet included in the room cost.
Very helpful front desk staff, easy central location, good breakfasts
The location was good the staff were helpful and polite the room size was ideal for our purpose and any problems were soon resolved. Unfortunately during our stay we were unable to use the pool and exercise facilities advertised when we booked due to construction work being undertaken and this was a big disappointment to us as we were hoping to have a swim and relax after a busy day in the city.We felt that maybe we should have received a reduced rate for our stay as you did not provide a service you had advertised.
Location, size of room/apartment, efficiency and assistnce given by staff, flexibility to respond to specific requests.
Great location! Complimentary breakfast is amazing. The kitchen looks a little outdated but it's such a great space for the price!
Room layout and space Poor shower set-up--shower curtain was a nuisance and let water get all over floor, bath ventilation barely effective
The suite was fantastic for a family of four. Used the facilities to save money by eating in rather than eating out. Very handy having two bathrooms. The breakfast could have been put out better rather than everything being in packets and cling film. The pool area was out of order due to refurbishment.
The peace and quiet The scramble at the buffet breakfast
I loved the location and the size of the suites. The complimentary breakfast is nice, but contains too many carbs for my liking. They don't offer anything besides pastries and bagels in the morning and no protein.
Bright spacious accommodation, friendly staff Minor stuff - fridge very noisy, & extractor in bathroom started up in night & wouldn't shut down - but this seemed to be a ' one-off '
Room was well equiped. Very noisy hotel. Also poor breakfast..
Close to sporting events and concerts, nice place to stay, shopping and eating is close! Skytrain event for adults is great The streets of Vancouver, walk to far before it cleans up, not a kids scene
Room size. The lazy when we were checking in. She wasn't helpful at all.
Hotel Staff very nice, free wifi, free parking, simple but nice breakfast. Most important is the location very near from Metrotown, skytrain and bus.
The room was clean and quiet (which is a must for any hotel) and the free breakfast surprised me for the variety of choices. The window (room 603) needed fixing - it leaked wind on that windy night. The air condicioner (heater) unit was too noisy.
not much the mattress was not comfortable - and I did not sleep well.
The proximity to the mall. Close to the Skytrain station. Breakfast was convenient. I didn't like that the fact I was booking in American dollars wasn't glaringly apparent when I went to book. I paid an extra 35% Canadian $ to stay in a Canadian hotel. It wasn't such a bargain then. The government rate was just as good and I would have paid Canadian.
location is the most! near shopping centers restaurants but also near skytrain and bus station. The bed is very confortable, room very clean.I was in the last floor with free internet. Breakfast was correct. Staff very very nice. price a little bit high.
We had a great time. Thanks to Myra at Front desk for being courteous and very helpful.
One thing i liked about this hotel is that it is close to the Metrotown mall and busloop and skytrain. The staff were awesome! I just didn't like that sometimes keys are not working on the elevator &/or on the door.
The hotel was relatively close to the airport and the room was very spacious. The wifi was nearly unusable.
access from airport and the shuttle service as listed above the cost to access the internet connection
service location restaurant price windows don't open refrigerator worked poorly
the location was close to some exciting restaurants and the canada line which allows you to move quickly to downtown did not like this strange looking building, the feeling that a couple of surrounding buildings were bought out and patch together was not my idea of this place
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even though it was a non-smoking room, we could smell cigarette smoke the moment we entered. Also, the door trim around the door frame was split as if kicked in from the outside hall. We called and reported this immediately and were given a different room that was better, but still only satisfactory. We should not have been given a substandard room just because we booked through a third party site, such as Kayak.
Decent airport hotel with efficient shuttle to and from airport. Built alongside the other usual chains. Ten minutes walk from train downtown. Good choice of restaurants closeby. No WiFi in rooms and pay for internet access.
Overnight transit stop for flight
The room was quiet and well-presented. I liked the fact that there was a fridge in the room but it was ratehr noisy at times. The room rate quoted by booking.com stated that breakfast was included, but when I asked the hotel staff to confirm this, they told me it was an error. They were good enough to give me a reaonable refund to compensate and said they would investigate why this had happened.
Smoking not allowed wrong info on web site
Was impressed with the shuttle service which included drivers that were friendly and helpful. For my one night stay everything went exceptionally well. wished there was free internet access, if only for a limited time
Not great. Only restaurant still open when we arrived was the bar. No free coffee available in the morning. Wanted to charge me $4.00 for a to go cup of black coffee. No way.
cozy, clean, a simple kichen w/sink & microwave, nice location & reasonable price. no scale available in the bathroom...
The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable. I wish I could have shipped the whole lot back to Ontario
A guest has to pay extra for parking
Loved the river view and proximity to good food. The rooms were cozy and well appointed. The staff were amazing! I couldn't have been happier with the Inn at the Quay. I will definitely stay there again! Can't think of a thing!
I really enjoyed the weight room. Relatively well-equipped for a smaller hotel.
I loved the view they gave me of the water, it was just beautiful. At first I was a bit worried since it overlooked part of the pier where there is resturants and more, but when I turned on the AC I didn't hear a thing. The bed was confterble, with down pillows. The room had been remodeled with nice colors and the bathrooms clean and up to date. Parking was very reasonable, and when I forgot I had left my toothbrush at home the provided me with a complimentary toothbrush and tooth paste. The staff was very friendly and helpful, this always makes or brakes my experience, so cheers to that! The patio in my room was very dirty the glass railing and floors, it needed a good cleaning and some new updated paint and patio furniture. Arriving at the hotel was a bit hard as your on a doc / waterfront property with so many people and cars no real area to pull up to, there are some 10 min spots for guest in a parking lot but there where only a few so good luck getting one if it's a busy day. The Rooms and the Hotle need just a bit more updating it looks really nice in the photos online, but it's an older Hotle with still quite a few things that need updating (repurposed furniture in rooms, elevator and elevator entry to parking garage, the AC in the room did not work well felt very humid ( I had to request a fan). The computer system when down at the front desk when I when to check out (but the staff where friendly and quick to fix it).
the room was good the view access,to path & resturantdirection`s to get into parking
Location was excellent to visit with family and friends. Noise - newer windows which filtered out the patio next door and the trains that ran all night is probably a good investment for this hotel.
Stopped over for a night after being on Cruise for 10 days. Very relaxing. Was able to rest and wind down before catching flight out next morning. A good distance from airport with no shuttle
Location was perfect for our visit. But the most impressive to us was that all the housekeeping staff we encountered on the 4th floor were very nice and friendly. They should be commended!
Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the sunrise over the water. Free WiFi. It was a little out of town, but for the price it was unbeatable. There were a variety of good restaurants within walking distance.
Clean the deck. It has spider webs and is dirtty
Very relaxing atmospheire
hotel staff cleanliness
It has full blown entertainment with the cable facility and the most is the unlimited supply of ice for the drink. yes! the secure parking as well. the coffee maker which doesn't work and the fridge wasn't that cold.
Nice place for the amount of money. Was very nice
staff was very nice
The bed was very comfortable. It's very good value for money for the budget conscious.
the staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly. i chose this hotel from a trip advising website and it stated that it was close to downtown. i was a little disappointed when i found out it was 25 min on the sky train which was a 10 min walk away.
The staff was very friendly, I loved my room and the fact that you had a workout room and hot tub/sauna The internet was completely unreliable both nights that I stayed there.
Rooms smelled dirty/dusty and the entire place reeked of Glade to try to suppress the smell. Couldn't open windows to get fresh air and air vent system only worked partially. Blankets were so thin I got cold at night
Flexibility the booking... on arriving it appeared the booking wasn't alright
very best and comfortable
Very helpfull staff, quiet room and hotel, value for money Hotel was fine, internet terminals would have been nice.
Reasonably priced. Friendly helpful staff. Clean
The rooms are clean. There isn't any laundry room in the hotel. When I asked the staff for alternatives, she pointed to a laudromat across the street but added that she wouldn't recommend it. Since she wouldn't recommend it, the hotel should set aside a laundry room. Rooms are too small. Kids find it too constrictive,
Located near two bus lines 20 and the 25. Next to McDonald's. Aaa approved. Buses run late the day pass for buses and sky train is Canadian $9.75. Lots of brochures and the continental breakfast was nice.
It was close to where needed to be. Breakfast was good. There was a great restaurant across the street. Good parking, Room was noisy. Walls need some soundproofing, Bathroom extremely cramped. Room so close to back entrance door
Great price. Clean. Nice staff. Will definitely stay again.
Beds were comfortable. Close to Metro Town. Breakfast could include yogurt.
beds were comfortable and clean not bad value for the money, breakfast was rather sparse and not much protein options available -would have appreciated yogurt as an option internet connection was very slow and the tv was fuzy on most chanels
Clean room, quiet room, hotel staff friendly.but since it low season they up-grade our rooms.if not we will get the room facing the road whick will be noisy. hotel is good for this price will recommed it to friends.
Continental breakfast is always a plus!! The halls were wet a lot while it was raining... a few leaks in the halls
Very good hotel. Convenient place. Fair good for a stay at a reasonable price.
It was very comfortable and clean. I loved the restaurant.
friendly staff, nice continental breakfast, comfortable and huge bed i had discomfort in the fact that there was no one at the front desk 24 hours
This little hotel is a bit of a nice surprise... very reasonable prices, interesting old building that has been well maintained. Very pleasant stay. you need a code to get in as there is no desk clerk at night - a bit of a hassle
Excellent all round with good Bar and Dining. Very convenient for visits to Vancouver. Nothing
We had two very comfortable queen beds in a quite spacious room on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was very basic but acceptable. Staff (all three that we met) was very friendly. Right next to skytrain entrance which means easy access to all of Vancouver and the airport. Next time will probably try to get the top floor as we can hear the upstairs people walking in their rooms. We happened to be facing the street so skytrain noise was not a problem, the freight train locomotives though made a lot of noise (blowing the horns) during sleeping hours. A/C fan's white noise helped to minimize the noise.
I liked the spacious room, desk staff, location and price. The refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and iron are all great features.
Staff: pleasant & helpful Spacious room Location; we didn't do our homework, much further from Vancouver than we expected but Sky Train was closeby.
Clean room Atmosphere outside
The room was clean and spacious. The walls are very thin. You can hear everything going on in the next room...everything...if you know what I mean. Kept me awake half the night. Also, one of the guests had a dog and they played fetch in the hallway...very anoying/
Well I would like to be more service. Also I booked king size bad and when I got there I found queen size which not good and not trust.
The first night I was placed in a room that was far too noisy due to sky train.
Clean rooms, quiet on the front side and friendly staff. Would of been nice to know that the a parking pass could be purchased at the hotel as the one that I purchased from the lot was only good till 6am so I ended up paying double for parking.
The lobby had some cool old touches that could have just as likely come from inside of it as opposed to being bought. Vintage feel through building. Rooms were tiny to say the least, my wife and I barely had room to stand once we had our only suitcase inside. Bar downstairs is great if you're into that, but considering we were only staying to leave early in the morning the noise of people leaving in inebriated states was an annoyance. Will echo other posters as well about the quality of the surrounding neighborhood. Had a real concern that my vehicle wouldn't be intact the next morning. Only recommended as a super cheap option reasonably close to the city center.
Absolutely Nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right in the middle of skid row. Rooms are terrible old run down bathrooms suck since sink is in room with you and no lighting. Expect to be panhandled going or leaving the hotel. Parking is $10 a day in Bar parking lot with a bad element around it. Worry about your car all the time parked there. I can't you how bad this place is. Unless you are coming off the street for a night.
close to city core, clean, and affordable
This is a good budget hotel. The location is just a bit dodgy, with many homeless people on the street just a block away, though I was never approached by any of them.I used city transit and recommend you use the stop just to the east of the hotel and not the one to the west. This will avoid most of the homeless. Wi-fi was iffy in our 4th floor room. Vancouver activities are pretty expensive, so paying less for a hotel room left more money for activities. The pub in the hotel has good food and good jazz. Our two bed (singles) was tiny and the squeezed in mini-bathroom was even tinier. It had a bi-fold door that didn't shut completely. This made certain functions a little too public.
Room had private bathroom, was clean. Friendly staff. Hotel quite close to city center and waterfront. The neighborhood is really terrible. It is very sad to see all these homeless people and junkies on basically the whole of East Hastings street. However I did not feel they were dangerous.
Parking felt safe Bad location. Drug users all around outside
The guy who worked the desk at night, Van, was excellent! He was incredibly welcoming and gave good tips and directions to us as first time visitors to Vancouver. His hospitality is what made me incredibly happy with our stay. The hotel is very old, it was built in 1913, but it is not run down. The rooms are small, but not uncomfortable, and for the price that we paid, worth it! Also, the shower and water pressure are strong and enjoyable. It is a very bare bones hotel, but an excellent deal as the prices are very affordable. The location is not the best, but they do have their own parking lot, parking price not included however.
It was cheap. But they charged me extra.. Still fighting that. It smelled so bad (mold), windows were super old and it was super cold (also no screen in it and it's a big window.. Dangerous), staff was cranky when I asked for another blanket, and I couldn't get wifi in the room (they told me sit by the elevator). Lame
The good: Hot guy working the counter. The brew-pub associated with the hotel is awesome and has live Jazz music. In fact this is a historic Vancouver Jazz spot. Cool old building built in 1913. Very affordable. Close to nightlife. The neighborhood is gnarly. You will have to navigate around very intoxicated people and dirty needles around this hotel.
hotel is very normal considering the 'mixed' surroundings. very good value for the money, staff is exceptionally helpful, have good breakfast and wi-fi. the shower, toilet, and sheets, and the hotel overall are clean. compared to the bunch of weird folks on W Hastings, the hotel guests are perfectly normal people. the small size of the room was not a problem for me, just enough, but wouldn't go there with kids. the carpet is old and even if cleaned, smells, some other things like the sink and bed cover are also old but ok. the bar downstairs is okay, they have some food there, the breakfast is good, but it smells like cigarettes and is dark. the street, W. Hastings is the worst in Vancouver, very depressing, do not walk there, best to take the bus - 14, 16, 20 will take you downtown and back, or a cab - only about 6-7 bucks one way. if u walk, pick a different street
This hotel is used as a brothel/whorehouse. When we arrived, multiple prostitutes were engaged in negotiations with a large number of older, unclean men. None of the rooms had door locks. The entire place smelled of smoke. I travel for a living: this was the worst travel experience of my life. We ended up calling more than 50 places in Vancouver immediately find an alternative. The on-line help was no help. This is a drug-house/whorehouse.
Nothing It is a hooker/gang hotel - not safe. We ran out of there
wifi was ok. basic and cheap. at first they gave us a room with heating full on, whereas it was summer, and it was broken so couldn't be turned off. so we didn't sleep well. when we complained they gave us another room it was okay. why didn't they give it to us in the first place, if it was available? and why not fix the broken heating? also, the rooms close to the front are much noisier than the ones in the back...
Not a great stay. Room service was extremely poor - took over an hour to receive the food...miuntes after receiving it the fire alarm bell went off and we had to vacate the building...
Great value. Very well maintained facility. Comfortable rooms. The best was the staff (particularly the concierge Gerardo L.). We would be delighted to stay there again. Nothing.
Pinnacle Hotel was a refreshing change for me. Enjoyed my stay and I would go back there for sure.
I liked the pin cards for the elevators and doors. I felt very safe. The rooms were very luxurious and well laid out. Very comfortable and clean. There was nothing not to like.
Toller Blick auf die Skyline, nettes Personal, schöne Zimmer, 25m Pool, gut ausgestatteter (moderner!) Fitnessbereich
Great location and reasonably priced.
The rooms are very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The location is excellent with easy access to everything. Parking is a fair price compared to other hotels however it is not well marked and difficult to get out of if you do not have a very compact car. The details on the room are nice (umbrella, robe, etc..). The restaurant was excellent and had a very good selection. The lobby feels very cold and not warm and inviting, however this is probably related to the unfriendly front desk staff which is sad because although I loved the hotel, the snooty front desk staff I experienced would prevent me from staying here again. The parking is difficult to locate and not well marked from the street.
So many things going on and nice shopping in area Construction
Very comfortable hotel to stay. Highly recommended.
The view was spectacular and the room was immaculate and the staff were supberb
Rooms were amazingly comfortable and the view of the harbour and city were spectacular. In my particular room, the WiFi connection was rather unreliable. Hotel staff was somewhat lacking personality but generally speaking were efficient and informative.
It was close to everything - especially Lions Gate Hospital - also there were a couplel of excellent restaurants close by. Didn't like the fact that there was an extra charge for parking.
Great location when you are in town without a vehicle. Friendly staff, right above Lonsdale Market, Sea-bus and bus transfer station. Hotel is looking a little dated, needs new plumbing fixtures and decoration updates.
A nice hotel in a great and convenient location. Good front desk staff, always very pleasant and helpful. Numerous and interesting eating and shopping opportunities in the area. Wonderful waterfront location.
I was close to the elevator so thought it might be noisy, but it was very quiet. Nice being close to shops and restaurants downstairs. It was good to see a security guard in the underground parking.
We really enjoyed our stay beautiful room, wonderful view of the water front and the shops below were lovely
Although this hotel is in North Vancouver, I found better value at this hotel compared to any one I have stayed in downtown. It is on top of Lonsdale Quay, which provides a number of great public transit options. Most importantly, you are a 5-10 minute SeaBus ride away from downtown. So you can go from your hotel room door to a bar in GasTown in less than 15 minutes. On weekends, the market below the hotel is bustling, so lots to do in the mornings.
Location is very convenient Heard that parking garage has had break in peoblems
Very convenient location and well priced; we will stay again.
Location Facilities Price Should be 2 stars
Partial water view. Balcony. Lots of local produce stands, close by coffee, and hundreds of mall shops, if you like that next to your hotel. Nice pier out to the bay with a view of (south) Vancouver. Remote location. Hard to find, especially at night. Parking garage is vast and confusing requiring a walk thru the mall. Carpets and bed spreads need cleaning. Decor was bad late 90's Chinese black lacquer furniture with maroon bed spread and gold lame wall paper. Bed was mushy. Overal not very friendly.
Near to downtown yet its steps away from the mountains Noise the showers made
location, value, good accommodation Nothing
