Pros: The rooms were great, staff was super courteous and helpful, love the feel and look of the place overall. Hope to be back often. They helped make our wedding incredible.
Cons: Now this is nitpicking, but there was a few Rollie Pollies in our room...I know we are out in rural country so critters and bugs are inevitable.
Additionally, there were some inconsistencies and issues with room rates and reservations prior to arrival.
Cons: Way over priced for the condition of the rooms. Should have been extremely pampered for the priced we paid.
Pros: Hiking trails, breakfast, service
Cons: Room was dated and small for the price

Cons: Air conditioner was noisy.
Bathroom small and cold
No TV at room, and very poor wifi
Aesthetics of outside shabby and ugly
Parking lot quite muddy, good news now for CA
Outrageous price. I guess it's Big Sur!
Pros: Great place to stay! Quiet, clean, great restaurant and the river is perfect to sit and relax next to.
The only bad things I have to say are the gas price was outrageous at the gas station there, and there are no phones in the rooms. If there was a phone, I would have been able to make reservations to go horseback riding.

Cons: The establishment was far more dilapidated than we were led to believe based on the advertised photons. It simply is a very mediocre place. The front desk rarely answers the phone calls. It is more fitting as camp ground lodge than moderately expensive resort. Do not recommend it, especially given its price range. We should have paid more attention to negative comments on the website.
Pros: The room was great! The balcony view was very enjoyable.
Cons: The communication with the lodge was difficult at best. There were fires in the area and we tried for 2 days at all hours of the day to call them to see if we were still OK to come only to get no one picking up the phone. We had two one night reservations and so we didn'the check out after the first night only to get a rude call from the front office and then put on hold for 30 minutes and then a hang up. They eventually called back and rudely explained that they were very busy and they had to move around some people in order for us to stay in our same room. Then told us we would not have housekeeping that day so I asked for extra towels which we never got until we asked the night staff for them.
