The lack of parking space was a major disadvantage
Oddly the hotel displayed no name other than 'Hotel' outside. Clean and moderately priced, it was good value for money and well located for visiting the Royal Palace. The breakfast was pretty unexciting. For the money, it provided a good experience. The staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast, included in the room rate, was not specially good.
The staff was most excellent. The hotel facilities are all very recent and good. The breakfast was very nice! The lack of proper parking. The bathroom could be improved.
Friendly helpful service. Good shower and bathroom. Great position in town, near shops, attractive square, right by the Reggia (the big palace and tourist reason for being in town). All staff were very nice - breakfast staff went out of their way to give us great service and choice. The reception staff gave a great restaurant recommendation and drew a nice walk on the map. And great price. Signs suggested there was a gym but it wasn't open and showed no likelihood of being open soon (the designated space was just a storage room).
internet pay,it would be very good to use free internet in your hotel. This would be a big plus to your hotel.
The hotel was contemporary and clean. The staff was very receptive and helpful as soon as you walked in the door. The complimentary breakfast was good. Shopping district one block away. The thermostat was small and difficult to see and operate. It would be helpful to have a brief instruction pamphlet in the room for reference. A few dials on the thermostat not knowing their function. I booked 2 rooms and one room did not have a safe.
Clean and Good Value Food was mediocre.
confortable for business-man locate in a strategic location to visit that area but you must have the car. In max 30min you can reac Naples, Vesuvio parck, Ercolano or Pompei and in 1hr you get Costiera Amalfitana Breackfast ends at 9.30, maybe too early
Nice room at good price, pet friendly, friendly staff even very late check-in.
Very modern hotel just off the motorway. We used it 3 times to break our journey from Sicily to France. Good value for money.
Good attention to customer The hotel requires renovation! The shower hinges were rusty, the door rubber seal was hanging, the "do not disturb" sign and safe were not functioning. The hotels needs to make small repairs before theay become major.
The staff at the hotel went beyond what I expected to accomodate us, including assisting with the car rental. Also, while some of the guide books called the decor at the hotel non-decript or plain, actually the hotel is undergoing renovation, the room we had was all wired with the hi-tech capabilities, lighting, etc and had a understated, great modern decor. We really liked it.
Nice new room. Close to palace and shops. Uninterested staff. Not service minded!
Nice Hotel good location. Noisy, very noisy, pay wi-fi, I stayed for six nights and they were unable to replace a light bulb in the shower even though I notified them on the first day.
Raffael in the bar and dining room - warmly friendly and welcoming - fun. Breakfast was very good. There was no information in our room about air-conditioning, hot water, dining room menu, the city and palace, television - especially English channels
you have to use public carpark, access is difficult, the staff were not very helpful
position the room was too small
The rooms were renovated and nicely appointed. I had a double for single use and it was fine. The hotel, on your web site, offered a two bedroom suite. They do not have any two bedroom suites, they only have junior suites which are certainly not the same.
Being so close to the Royal Palace and gardens. view from our window of the grounds!
Easy to find with car parking close by. The restaurant was open until 22:30 giving us a chance to get a meal even though we checked in late. The room was quite and the beds spacious. I can't think of anything!
cleanliness, service, comfortable, spacious rooms close to reggia di Caserta
Good staff. Good location. Actually this hotel is not 4*. May be 2*. The photos on the site is much more better than reality. Could not advise this hotel to stay. Breakfast was poor. Actually it's hard to find quite good hotel with the good price in the cities of southern Italy, so if you have not any other ways, you could stay there for one night.
The rooms were pretty much suites, consisting of a living area and a bedroom. All was very nice, new, clean. Both rooms had its own AC unit. Free parking not far from the hotel was a plus, and free wi-fi also helped. Hotel staff spoke very little English, which is not to be held against them, just if you don't have a phrase book, it may be hard to communicate.
The room was excellent. Shower was stopped up and no hot water in the evening. Shower was quickly fixed and plently of hot water next morning
Good location and friendly staff. Good value for money.
Having a living room was wonderful extra space at this price!
Very close to the station and the staff were extremely helpful. Room was of a very good size and good value for money.
This 4-star hotel, nevertheless it is not very expensive. Rooms are very large, most of them are two-room. Wi-fi internet in rooms is very fast. Breakfast is very good. Hotel is very nice. Walls between rooms are very thin, so everyone can hear what in other rooms happens.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful. There were roadworks happening nearby and they offered to come and help us locate their offsite park.We stayed in Caserta to visit the nearby Palace and the location of the hotel was perfect for that. The rooms were generously proportioned with a sofa as well as a bed and the little extras like slippers and a robe to use were appreciated. Breakfast was quite ample. Difficult to access but that was more due to the roadworks than the location.
The nicest and most helpful staff on our entire tour of Italy
Excellent facilities in spacious rooms. Quite inside the building. Very good breakfast included. Value for money. Good for one night stop over to visit Caserta Palace. Very noisy outside (for example by the pool) as it's located on the junction of 2 extremely busy roads. Not child friendly.
lovely room and terrace with our room. Hotel looked very nice. only one retaurant open, staff in the retaurant were terrible, i complained to the manager as the service was shocking and the food not much better. Hotel did not charge us for dinner. very close to the motorway so no way you could have a window open at night.
Room, nice and large.
The aesthetics of the hotel. Nice rooms and halls. Great breakfast. Room equipment (e.g. shaving set, ). The hotel is a real museum! Too far from city center. Shuttle to city center not included (charged: 8 euros). No in room internet services (e.g. wifi). No bathtub. Shower too high. Bathroom was cold with respect to the room temperature.
The frendliness of the staff particulalry at the bar and reception The room access card did not work on a number of occasions. The hotel was aware of this and stated that it will be resolved at the end of this year but was somtimes a minor inconvenience.
Rooms were a good size and reasonably comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was fine for a 2 night stopover, would not really like to stay any longer. Hotel was quite empty lacked atmosphere. Probably better suited as a conference hotel
Ease of use n/a
This 4 star hotel feels like a 5 star at a 3 star price.
The hall is a spectacular excercise in tastlessly showy design, complete with a flashy neon reproduction of Botticelli's primavera. I immagine this may appeal to some but to europeans it looks frankly outrageous. If you like trash tho... First of all this hotel is not in Caserta.Neighborhood is dreadful and dangerous. Getting there from Caserta Nord means you'll be forced to make a UTurn on the main street. Once there we couldn't find parking. We got to the reception, waited 10 minutes for a receptionist to show up only to find out our room was not ready. We were asked to leave our luggage there and take a walk (this translates into loytering in the main street among flamboyant day/night workers). Later on we got back and they gave us the wrong key so that we entered a room already occupied by somebody else (with all related security issues). We finally reached our small room. Broken air-cond.Overall design is dreadfully kitch, complete with fake neon-botticelli in the hall.
Very clean. Would probably be good for families with children. Nice pool area. The location was very far from Caserta and not that easy to find. The town is remote and has only a few pizza restaurants for dining. The halls were poorly insulated for sound. Hard beds and few pillows. Breakfast was minimal.
Location. Room balcony.
Close to old town, relatively quiet surroundings. Occasionally there was just one young woman on duty who did not seem to understand the word 'explain' (what items on the menu were etc) in either English or Italian and so sevice was very slow.
Good location, walking distance from the medieval town, good base to visit the Caserta Palace we had a room at last floor which was small and low and with not much air. Probably comfort is better in proper rooms.
The hotel is located in a small mountain resort some distance from Caserta close to bars and restaurants busy in the evening. The room was comfortable and adequate for a short stay and the price was reasonable. Reception staff seemed a little disinterested but efficient. The choice for breakfast was limited but adequate.
good location, helpfull staff, good amentities, especially the pool
Quiet position and delightful staff. Good value. Swimming pool water was a bit sore for eyes
Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make us welcome and share their knowledge of the locality Nothing really, although it would be very nice to have access to a small lounge area near the bar.
We planned to stay two nights and stayed for four. The location next to Cassertaanitca was walking distance. This is a typical Italian family run hotel so if you know Italy you will understand. Also dont expect English to be spoken however take your phrase book and try, they are very helpful and welcoming. We had some problems during our stay not associated with the hotel and they could not have been more helpful. It was nice to sightsee during the day then sunbathe round the pool to rest although the recent winds and rain had blown debris into the pool it was apparrent that the whole place is clean. The restaurant is used by locals at lunch time that says a lot about the quality of the food.
Lovely place, little dificult to find, great welcome, dinner of antipasta was excellent,by candle light and pool, lovely pool, children delighted that swimming pool had a diving board
The booking process was very easy. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, although the guy at breakfast was surprised when we asked for a second cup of coffee! None
convenient for Naples Airport early morning start. Friendly, efficient staff. Good value and clean. local pizzeria 200m away. quite noisy being next to a dual carraigeway
Clean and comfortable room with all basic facilities. Owners very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks menus a little limited
I did not enjoy the nights in europa. Bathroom was not really clean
The personal attention of the staff
Very far from airport
The only thing which I like is location of the hotel - near the railway station. Big rooms. Needs reparation. No hotel's parking - only 5minutes walking and expensive(18 Euro). Generally not cousy.
Room was clean and airconditioned, Internet was charged per hour and did not work properly, kept cutting out. Waste of money
Good location, helpful staff and overall value for money
Booking system worked well. Hotel rooms and corridors were very, very dirty, walls were painted long time ago, for breacfast was served worm Juice and not fresh foodstuff.
Hotel staff is nice and helpful, bus and train station just a few steps distance. By the way it's not realy centre, but walk along a shopping street easy to get there. Caffe is not that Typical Italien Espresso, but not so bad. Brekfast is nice: croassoint, ham, cheese, cereals, more kind of juice, fruits, tea, caffe. Around the hotel many african people are selling things, in the evening prostituts, full of rubbish the whole area. Could be dangerous, anyway we never had any problem with them, better to be careful and don't have with you all of your money.
Walks to the city center, traint trip to pompei
Nice and helpful danish speaking italian man at the front desk. Central location near main railway station and bus station and close the old city centre. Ideal location for trips to vesuvius and pompei.
Yes, good service with car parkering, with internet service, and the breckfast... and the place i Napoli, near the autostrata... no, ...only a little problem with the elevator.... out of order... little of the time
first of all ,the breakfast is buona! and the location is very close to the station and spacca napoli ,which you should go see first . the hotel staffs have very gentle feeling and helpful, napolitani veri!.
No free internet access
We wanted a view of the bay so got a room upgrade without having to pay extra. The famous AC Milan football team also stayed while we were here and Liverpool stayed the week before! The service in the restaurant was very poor. We waited over 30 mins for our drinks and over an hour for our meal which was ok but not worth the wait. The prices for the food and drinks in the bar and restaurant were ridiculously expensive. This also applies to the mini bar in the rooms.
the location was grade because there are restaurants and bus station near by. The view from the high floors is breathtaken !!!!!!! the breakfast eas poor for 4 stars hotel . and the difficulty of aproaching the parking which doesnot belong to the hotel!!!
Hotel location, restaurant staff Front desk was very impatient, the rooms from 21st floor and above are refurbished, so make sure you ask for these rooms because the rest of the rooms are really worn out and are not pleasant to stay in, breakfast was very basic and included very few vegetables
trough the window we can see all naples very beautiful panorama... stains on the wall in the room, broken bathroom glass, rusted bathroom tubes.
Efficient and well organized, clean rooms. I would expect in a hotel to have a map of the city to be offered to the clients. Also, more care to have english in every leaflet and post.
The selection for breakfast was extremely poor. For a buffet breakfast I would expect a greater choice. I certainly in the past have found a better selection at lower rated hotels.
Friendliness of Hotel Staff Amenities need updated Air Conditioning did not function very well if at all, room was very uncomfortable temperature wise.
The location In napoli is very good. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff. On the edge of being rude. We stayed 3 days and everyday, 1 lift was out of order. Considering this hotel receives a lot of tourist bus, imagine when you are trying to take a lift. For the same reasons of tourist bus, It was difficult to take breakfast, no table available or no food available. We had 3 rooms and in each room, the safety box was "out of order". The reception sent somebody to fix it but could not find the problem. The free internet service in the lobby was also "out of order". The lift to the garage was "out of order". Finally, except for the location, we cannot recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was great. Room was nice. All italian channels (no variety) + impossible to order movies
The public areas were clean and atractive and the staff were pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the linen and towels were crisp and clean I requested a room near to a friend who was on floor no.25 but when I received my key I was on floor 17 when I pointed out my request I was confronted by a kirt "it is not possible". I aslo requested a non smoking room but was put on a smoking floor. They advertise a safe in every room I never found one in mine. The enamel on the bath was badly damaged. The razor socket in the bathroom was broken so much so that water could enter the mechanism. There was a smell in the bahroom. The air conditioning didn't appear to be working. It would appear that at sometime the room had been broken into because the inside door frame was damaged. The day before we were due to leave, our room was stripped as if we were vacating it that day, this was promptly resolved by a receptionist.Every time we wanted service from the bar we had to find the barman who appeared to double up in the dining room. You may wonder why I didn't complain but I was there to support a friend who had been mugged and badly beaten and was in hospital I therefore had more important things on my mind and spent very little time in the room. I may have to return but will consider a different hotel. The room was 1727
Spacious room, good bed and quiet and safe location, close to shops, harbour and leisure district. Breakfast was reasonable (for Italian standards) but glasses instead of plastic cups would make breakfast decent!
Attentio was good and breakfast and everything else was fair... TV and Air Conditioning didn't work and no one was able to repair it before we were left...
The staying there was absolutely comfortable and friendly.
Very very good value of money! We booked a supreme double room, overlooking Via Tolido street. The room is very spacious and good design. The windows and doors could block the noise from the streets. breakfast is also very good. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. It certainly exceeded my expectations. The walls could be more soundproof. And their instruction of how to find it is a bit confusing.
Fair enough service
It was difficult to find - instructions and directions sent when booking would be of great asisitance
We were able to book 4 rooms for all the party Early breakfast was difficult - we were travelling to our daughter's wedding so needed to leave the hotel at 0700 hrs
Central Location This hotel was more of an hostel than a 4 star hotel. Was clean but not quite what we had expected.
location the toilet seat was broken and they did not fix it though kindly asked several times
The hotel is conveniently located, close to the old town. The staff were very rude. They were particularly unwelcoming due to the fact that we were travelling with a child. The hotel is on the third floor and does not have an elevator. The hotel is located in a very rough alleyway off the old town. Despite claiming to be a bed and breakfast, the hotel only gives a token for a cafe around the corner for a brioche and a coffee. That's a 2 Euro breakfast! This is the worst B+B I have staryed in for a long time!
Breakfast and location, room facilities Non English speaking staffs.
all a very very good, compliments..
good location in the middle of the city no heating
Walking up 96 steps with luggage after a long air flight as well as each time we had to leave for the day. Breakfast 3 blocks away from the rooms. A 4 square foot shower.
I was very close to real life of city... It's not a hotel....It's Bed&Breakfast spot.
The location of the hotel is very bad, not really safe and in a building with families. There is no one there when you need something. For example when your room does not close and people enter in it in the middle of the night........ And to do everything perfect they also give you a ticket to have a breakfast in a place which is close..... We really did not have a good time there!
Very nice location & accomodation, friendly staff, and kind helpfull neighbours, Nobody at the location, with help of neigbours we reached the owner, this could be solved by putting recent gsm number on the door. (must say, we made a late reservation.) Unfortunaly very hard matresses and only cold water, but for one night ok!.
A good location in the centre of historical center. For Naples the location was quite quiet. Difficult to find the hotel - especially during the night. Although you see the odd numbers on the right side of the street, the hotel is on the top of the street on its left side, a third house from the crossroad.
The rooms are excellent. The location is excellent, in the middle of the mediaeval city centre on a typical narrow street, amidst original Napolitan family life. You get your typical Italian (one piece of pastry and a cup of coffee) in the famous pasticceria of Angelo Carbone (directly round the corner). Some excellent (and really non-expensive restaurants and trattorie are directly around (pizzeria Gino Sorbillo, trattoria da Carmine, ristorante al Grifo). The reception is always closed, you need to telephone in order to make contact (bring your mobile phone!) and the staff do not keep their promises. Rooms are cleaned at irregular intervals as is the renewal of towels and the quality of cleaning varies also. You need to climb stairs to get to your room and the reception, as the elevator is strictly private (for he staff).
The hotel is close to the railway station and not far from the historical center. very dangerous location! Familiarity and rudeness of the staff. One night the receptionist rushed into the room without any warning or knocking about 5am! it's outrageous! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to stay at this hotel! If only for one night to take the train to another place
Near Stazione Centrale Hotel is not 300 metres from the train station as stated, closer to 1km. Reception was rude and unprofessional, room was dirty as was the bathroom. Very ugly decor. Breakfast was terrible, waiter was possibly mentally retarded, more concerned about getting people's room number than remembering their coffee orders. The only friendly staff at the hotel is the cleaners. Avoid at all costs.
Nice, renovated hotel. Very unpleasant surroundings.
Very nice room at a reasonable price. Staff very helpful and friendly It is located in a horrible area!
Staff was very friendly The hotel is in a bad location
Well equipped and clean room, good service and a kind and helpful staf. Breakfast buffet not sufficient to our standard.
The feature i liked best was the informal atmosphere. There was nothing to dislike.
Very good location, between railway station and old streets. The hotel is in a small street, rather quiet in spite of the central location. The internal decoration is handsome, service is good in general. Naples is an inexpensive city, with fantastic cultural heritage (the old streets, Vesuvio, Pompei, Herculanum -- and the National Archeological Museum, don't miss the wonderful Roman frescoes!). The washbasin (water draining) in the bathroom was a little bit blocked. Breakfest is rather miserable (a very common thing in Italy). But above all, Napoli's streets are nowadays full of rubbish heaps (problem with the Mafia). But this is not a problem of this hotel in particular.
The hotel provided an excellent buffet breakfast which was included in the price. The view of the Bay of Naples was magnificent, particularly from the dining room. I also had dinner there and the service was excellent and friendly.
Sorry, not much. Breakfast overlooking the sea but inside away from the traffic is the best I can come up with. Hard lumpy bed. Pool closed on arrival. Refusal to provide iron/ironing board to tidy my dress before going out, curt to point of rude reception staff but most important no one smiled - not even once.
I love the location and room. However, the breakfast was the only poor parts. Their coffee is a shame of Italy. If the tourist comes to Italy at the first time and drank that coffee, they will all think that Italian coffee is horrible,,but the truth is one of the best. They should really change that coffee and stop serving conserved fruits, Naples has wonderful fresh fruits!!!
Beautiful view of the castle, the sea and the mountains.
The room was cleaned every day and the sheets changed daily. The decor was lovely but there was a lot of unfinished work in this area. For example a fixing had been put on the wall and the plaster had broken away and no one prepaired the damage.
Staff were lovely. We had a problem with our room when we checked in initially and we were moved without any hesitation. Also, when we were leaving we asked for a recommendation for a hotel in sorrento and Monica, a fabulous lady helped us to secure a hotel for 8 days. This was completely above and beyond and we very much appreciated it. She had also recommended a beautiful place for dinner near the hotel. Good helpful staff working in a hotel in a new city for visitors are worth their weight in gold, this lady in particular was exceptional! No complaints about the hotel and the location was good. Naples is abit nuts though, 2 days is plenty!
The hotel staff were great and the room was terrific. There was a great balcony and the view was incredible. The shower was awful. There was only a partial "door", and water got everywhere when you took a shower. We had to cover the floor in every towel we had in preparation for the swamp that followed. The pool also required swim caps which was weird and a big bummer because who wants to wear a swim cap?
The view was fantastic and the room was ok. Pool area was fabulous We were charged for items from the minibar which we never had. Were woken at 12 midnight on the first night of our honeymoon and told we had to change room. Told it was our honeymoon but got no welcome basket for it.
View is spectacular and the walk along the beach is great. Breakfast is good. Carpets and walls looking a little tired, but certainly everything is clean!
The balcony and the seaview The room The central location.
Nice room, proffessional and very kind personal
Helpfulness of desk styaff (reopended car park late at night) \LOcation!
air conditioning was not good... rooms were hot
We only stayed one night as we were in sorrento and we had an early flight home so it was convienient for us to stay here. It was close to the train station and Alibus to the airport which we used. The breakfast could have been better, no fresh fruit only tinned, the bread in the basket was hard and we had to wait until it was filled again, the machine for coffee was very slow and people had to queue to use it. Overall the hotel was nice and clean, our room was nice but bathroom very small. Because our room was at the front of hotel we could not open the window as the noise from the traffic was unbearable ( not the hotel's fault) so it was good that there was air con. If we had to do an overnight stay in Naples again we would stay here . Not a good selection at the breakfast, very noisy hotel as a lot of traffic outside.
It is very close the railway station. You can have a good dinner in the restaurant in this hotel. The stuff are not very friendly.
Big room, nice and clean, breakfast was ok, staff was helpful, computer with free internet access on the lobby, all advertised facilities were available, very good location if you want to travel around Naples - close to Circumvesuviana main station, close to the trains station, relatively close to port, bus stop for airport just around the corner, buses that take you to the city center have the main station very close to the hotel The neighborhood looks a little frightening (although we got used to it after the first too days, and there was no danger after all...:-))), rooms with windows on Corso Meridionale are very noisy, we had some trouble sleeping.
Very close to the Naples Central Railway Station (within walking distance)
location: close to main station, historic center and bus stop for the airport. Cleanliness of the room: excellent! towels: changed everyday! Breakfast: good to excellent for an '' italian breakfast '' ...
the location was excellent, close to train/transport station, very useful if you intend to do a lot of travelling to see all the Roman sights. some of the reception staff could have been a bit more friendly, but apart from that everything was ok.
The good ambience n excellant service The lack of internationa tv channel as all were italian, they shud cater to internatinal guest
The Romeo is an upscale, eclectic hotel, near the waterfront in Naples. The service is generally excellent, and the rooftop pool is unusual and not to be missed. The rooms are high tech, perhaps too much so. The overnight shift at the front desk could use some retraining - indifference seems to be the primary attitude. Naples itself seems safe and is a vibrant city, but it sure is dirty and needs routine litter pick up and infrastructure maintenance.
Modern exciting design, very good staff Noise air-conditioner, controversial location
Very modern hotel. state of the arts room such as auto-lighting, glass made wall, desk and toilet door representing 21st century in this old city. friendly hotel staffs except 1 woman in the restrant . expensive breakfast. inconvenient to/from station & downtown center
Everything was amazing! When leaving we told them that everyone across the world would do well to take after their lead of impeccable service! Where do I begin... As soon as we entered the door we were swarmed with people to take our bags and take them directly to our room! Then we were escorted to our room where we were then orientated- very modern, so you need a little briefing...LOL! THey have a mini bar that calculates what you took out and automatically puts it on your bill. There were also the most delectable strawberry cream appetizers awaiting our arrival along with apples and water. THe decor was gorgeous! We wanted to stay the whole time and not go to Capri it was so nice! We ate dinner at the restaurant- top of the line 5 star plus service! They even brought me a table for my purse! The lady did not get a menu with the prices which I though was amazing- they also gave us a water menu...who would have thought? As soon as our candle lost its flame on our table it was replaced within 5 seconds...no joke! We went to workout the next day and the windows were not working, but before we new it they had called the contractor to come fix them temporarily so we were comfortable. I can not say enough about this hotel- I have told all of my co-workers and friends about this hotel and we will definately be staying again! ??? Are you kidding??? What is there not to like? Unless you don't like helpful, friendly people!
Hotel was nice- Modern and up to date The neighborhood was terrible= Naples looked like it was rundown with crime from where this hotel was situated. The room was small and somehow, the shower opened directly to the bed. The lights in the room were on a sensor- so if you are showering and not moving, the lights shut off within 60 seconds. on my high standard, the hotel was essentially built to try and be a 5star, but failed to get there. the beds were terrible as well- 5 star hotel, i expect a queen or a king bed that is not a stiff European bed on a board. If you want a 5star luxury hotel, its not that. But it was nice.
Good location, luxury hotel the spa was not ready... :-)
Quality of room
The service and presentation was impeccable, the bed one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.Top marks in all areas!
The ambience and execellant service from staff, they when out of thier way to render assistance when i need to go to Sorrento and the Hydrofoil was grounded. The hotet entertaintment like the TV channels must cater for tourist who dont speak italian ,i.e more english channels
Excellent food and drinks. The staff was very helpful and professional except for one waiter. Very nice pool / SPA and hotel atmosphere / interior. The housekeeping was rather like 3 or 4 star hotel. The opening hours of bar, restaurant etc. was typically Italian instead of international, which leads to not getting something to eat or drink between specific hours.
Nice contemporary rooms. The "Japanese" theme did not match the Italian atmosphere. The hotel is situated in the wrong area; it should have been placed in the suburban area of Naples to match its lush atmosphere. I did not like the fact that every item (water, internet service, breakfast, local telephone call, etc.) was a la carte. The prices in the restaurants were also extremely expensive. This hotel seems to benefit the businessman as opposed to the average vacationer.
Fabulous, character filled, old world style but with up to the minute luxury. The most beautiful hotel bedroom overlooking the Bay of Naples. If our holiday had finished after our stay at Grand Hotel Parkers, I would have still been happy! We got directions from the car hire company at Naples airport, which were pretty direct, however we later followed the hotels own sign posting which took us through hair-raising narrow side streets! Next day we drove the easiest route away from the hotel and down to Pompeii, so just get good directions!
The locations was very good and the buffet breakfast was also very good. The other hotel amenities were mediocre and the hotel was understaffed. The decor in the rooms needs updating. There were stains on the bedspread and the chair was broken.
almost nothing) 3 star in realitty- small rooms, old looking, bad location
the reception was wonderful there was mould in the bathroom and the bed had springs poking from it. the room service cost was 54 euro for a salad and sandwich...ridiculous
Enjoyable stay, away from the busy part of the city. Great view over the bay
Great decor, location, and friendly service. The whole place feels grand and otherworldly. Very tasteful.
old fashioned and charming.
We arrived at the hotel around lunch time and found a very warm welcome with a simple check in and were shown to our room to find a lovely bottle of wine and some cakes awaiting. During our stay we found all the staff very helpful. We visited the hotel resturant on our last evening and had a very enjoyable meal.
Great location with panoramic views of the city. I believe it is trading on a great name but needs a little over hall. Dinner was great Bit of a walk / taxi ride to other places. Dreadful bathroom manager needs to stay in the room to see that there is no light available while in the shower. Shower dated could be turned around and there would be a fine shower space
The views from the restaurant, bar and roof terrace, looking over the Bay of Naples, is quite superb. Our own room, situated at the side of the hotel, had no view. However, those rooms with a frontal position all have excellent views.
Service & Location
