10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner Katia, her mother and Anna make this wonderful place to a paradice. Fantastiskt house in a very nice location. The breakfast is a meal to die for! Nice and very clean rooms. We will be back next time We go to Italy.
Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Delicious breakfast, spotlessly clean, beautiful and an incredibly hospitable host. We will definitely be back for a third visit!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic! Rooms are big and beautiful with air conditioning. The terrasse gives a superb view over the ocean. The beautiful sandy beach is litterally 10 meters from the doorstep. The ladies running the place are extremely friendly and happy to help in any way. The room is cleaned twice a day which feels like in luxury hotel. There are alway drinks available (beer/wine etc) to enjoy the terrasse even more.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view and the hospitality and professionalism of the hosts, it felt like home. The beach is just one minute, perfect location for a stress free holiday!

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Villa Martini in Rosignano Marittimo, you'll be just steps from Pasquini Castle and Centro per l'Arte Diego Martelli. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and an elevator (lift).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Family atmosphere, very clean, close to the beach, nice pool, excellent dinner
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach Staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Castiglioncello is a lovely small town just 35 minutes from Pisa Centrale on the train so makes a great stay for both a short break or longer stays. The Villa Martini is superbly located with attentive and helpful staff. I would certainly stay again. The pool area was clean and tidy with lots of sun loungers in fact the hotel had lots of seating both inside and out.
Cons: For the time of year it was excellent in every aspect. Saying that I believe that in the summer the lack of air conditioning would be an issue.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a nice continental, with a good selection. Good location that was easily walkable to most of the attractions in Castiglioncello. Bonus of having free on-site parking, but the parking is limited during busy periods. The room was nice and clean and the balcony was a great addition. The area around the pool was a nice play to sit outside and the staff were all very friendly. Would stay again.
Cons: The lift was a bit small (but typical for the area) for most modern prams (as we travelled with a small 4 month old child). We only just squeezed in, otherwise it would be the stairs. So if have children try and request a room closer to the ground floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Staff helped us book restaurants as very busy town on the weekend. Clean room, good size for three people (not large per se). Highlight was lounging by the pool after a day at the beach.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Room a little bit small
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very personlised stay. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very charming family run hotel with friendly staff and spacious facilities. Quiet and clean hotel. Lovely sun deck with various pools.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loooved our room (junior suite) and the view - the best! Central but still relatively quiet location (apart from the Italian mofas). Very close to the beach. Castiglioncello is a cute little town with pine trees and a few shops/restaurants right around the corner. No problem if you require a glutenfree breakfast. They even made a glutenfree birthday cake for my boyfriend. Would go back again!
Cons: Their 3 pools were too cold for me (in June).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly
Cons: I liked everything but we could have done with tea/coffee making facilities in rooms ( but we are British and we need that ! :)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment of our arrival, to that when we let, a really good experience. The hotel is well placed in the town with excellent proximity to the sea, the staff are most welcoming, and the accommodation comfortable and immaculately clean.
Cons: The fact I had to go home!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Room was execellent and very tidy. Loved it here. We will definetely come back!
7.0 Good
Pros: Evrything, without the bed
Cons: The bed!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and it’s a beautiful house.
Cons: The Air condition was controlled front the main desk and was set very high. The temperatures were in the 90s and the rooms were very hot, uncomfortable and so was the entire house.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Very small room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast and nice terrace to eat it on. Good clean room, well serviced, and hotel. Pleasant staff.
Cons: There was no information on the local area available in the hotel. Food and drink options would have been especially useful and was a particular problem to us as early May was very much off peak for the area and lots of the restaurants were closed.
7.0 Good
Pros: Quality hotel in good position. Adequate rooms. Balcony rooms worth the extra cost.
Cons: The hot water system failed totally our first day. Although the cold water was actually tepid, my lady was unable to complete her natural wish to wash the sea salt out of her hair and had an uncomfortable night. To complicate matters, the staff gave contradictory advice. First, it was just our room; then the hotel. Then it would be fixed before dinner; then not. All questions were referred to the owner who was not on duty and really had no better idea than the staff. I suggested (in passable italian) that we should receive a discount for that night. The suggestion was met with incomprehension bordering on hostility.
7.0 Good
Pros: A hotel with a very good design. But, the room went out and it was noisy. The air conditioner was also buzzing. The room was well cleaned. The location is fine, the exit directly to the large beautiful park. The sea is five minutes away. We stayed here a second time. But this time we did not like the food in the restaurant. Find a close-good restaurant could not, some fast food.
Cons: the air conditioning and food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner are very loud.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: location is simply perfect. The hotel is in an amazing turn of the century liberty villa with a great garden. Very quiet and close to all amenities. breakfast is good
Cons: Rooms are a bit basic but the rest is good
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely decoration of he property
Cons: No real bar, inside or outside, as such. Evening meal poor, with little choice.

6.8 Good
Pros: Very friendly and helpful service. Really nice people who knows their job. Location is very good - only 10 minutes from sea coast. Actually there is a small beach just in one minute but it is not good.
Cons: Hotel is very shabby. Room designed in very tasteless style. Breakfast ? There is none. Well, there is breakfast .. But it looks so not fresh..
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Can only recommend.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff all very friendly and extremely helpful. Convenient location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location close to the beach and the main street, and very quiet at the same time. Free parking! Parking in Castiglioncello is a nightmare, so this option was really important for us. Clean room and bathroom, good bed. Tasty croissants, fruit salad and coffee for breakfast. Roberto was amazingly helpful and welcoming. Make sure to check the "Veneto" gelateria out, it's outstanding!
Cons: "Economy" room was very small. No balcony. No place to dry wet towels and swimwear. Strange decoration of rooms and halls (artificial flowers, drapery on tables and chairs etc). And, frankly speaking, Tuscany is not about beach holidays after all, it is much more than that :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel provided parking and the staff were very helpful. Very clean, well managed hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I felt lucky to stay here... it is an old time family owned albergo that has personality with an excellent location in Castiglioncello. My room was large with beautiful old tile floors (please never change these!) It had an updated clean clean bathroom and window. It was easy to walk down the stairs to the small but excellent beach nearby. There are other surprises in this town, too... I took a walk in the beautiful oceanside pinoli forest... that had a little cinema, putt putt golf, secondhand book kiosks, cafes, and garden... spread out under the large trees. I was late to breakfast... and they were kind enough to let me enjoy it anyways. There were homemade treats, cheese and meat... and cappuccino. The town was delightful and I tried to stay another night but no rooms were available on a Saturday night! Will go back!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, just 2 min walk from the beach, close to everything. There's a small decent breakfast included in the price as well. The place has a very charming vibe with cozy common areas for just sitting and chilling. The atmosphere is very relaxed, quite and calm. It is super for a couple of days to relax in Castiglioncello.
Cons: Not having an A/C during the boiling summer months is a bit of a pain - even during the nights with open windows the air moves little. The room we were given was actually a different one from the photos attached to our booking.com confirmation: it did not have the "sea view" which the booking said it would.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I’m glad I’ve discovered this hidden gem! The location is great and the staff so friendly and welcoming! It felt like home and brought back lots of childhood memories of Castiglioncello! The room is good sized and comfortable. Very close to the seaside and pineta and walking distance from the station! I will definitely go back there again!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Views from our window
Cons: Like most the beds are not the most comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A comfortable bed, a nice view, a friendly staff. A hotel is cosy and traditional) Castiglioncello is an amazing place for staying for a couple of days to swim and walk around among the pine trees.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location. Friendly staff.
Cons: Small room. We missed the air conditioning and small accessories eg. hairdrier.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in a wonderful little town. Warm welcome from the staff. Lots of character in the interior but spotless. Welcoming to children.
Cons: Not much. There was a loud techno party across the bay that was very loud on a Saturday night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice owners and personnel. Perfect location, beautiful rooms, house and neighbourhood. Delicious breakfasts with homemade cakes :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our bedroom was stunning.
Cons: Just advise ppl to use mosquitoe repellent. I incorrectly assumed we’d be OK by the coast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was perfect!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, the ham & cheese was delicious with cooked to order omelettes that were just fab. All the fresh pastries, cakes and breads were lovely and the restaurant was beautiful. The swimming pool was lovely and refreshing and it was delightful that it was an indoor pool out of the sun. The staff were amazing, very friendly and approachable and always willing to cater to our needs. Will certainly stay again in the future.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfecto!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast spread and the elderly lady and staff in-charge were fabulous and courteous- greeted us everyday! Some rooms have a very old air con but when we told the staff that we could not manage with that, they changed our room with a better and newer air con. Rooms had good decor.
Cons: We were asked to pay a fee when leaving which the lady at the reception changed (increased) 3 times, so we had no clue whether she was right or wrong.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The hotel was right in the center of Castiglioncello. We only needed to walk for 5-10 minutes to the beach, different restaurants and the supermarket. Our room was situated in the second building of the hotel. The pool and the garden there was very nice.
Cons: The room was very, very small. We didn´t have enough room to lay down our suitcases. Furhtermore, there was no space to hang up our beach towels for drying. Around the pool there were not enough sunbeds for most of the day. But there would be more then enough place for more sunbeds. When we entered the room for the first time, the floor was completely dirty of dust, and on our second day, there was also no cleaning. We had no warm water in the shower two times. Therefour on our second day, we went to the lobby to talk the receptionist about the cleaning and the warm water. However, he only said, that it can´t happen that there is no warm water and that they didn´t clean our room because we had the "do not disturb" sign on our door, and after 12am the cleaning ladies are gone. However, we had that sign hanging for about 10 minutes, when we were changing for the beach, around 11 o´clock and not until 12. But the guy at the reception didn´t care for what we were saying. But for all that, what angered us the most, was the breakfast. There was nearly only sweet cakes for breakfast. Everyday only one sort of fruit or vegetables, one sort of cheese, only hard boiled eggs... I´m clear, that a cornetto and a coffee is the typical Italien breakfast, but for more than a 100€ a night I´m expecting a bit more, than a sweet dish and a coffee. Also after 9:00 they didn´t refill the dishes that were empty anymore. Though, the highlight was the orange juice. Every guest was only allowed to drink one glass of fresh orange juice per day!!! And that glass was exactly the juice of one orange. However, after two days we didn´t had to bother ourselfs about that, because from that day on they had no oranges for the last three days of our trip. I would recommend everyone to avoid this hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are nice, location is great! Parking. Everything were perfect.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: This was a nightmare. Nothing was as advertised, they didn’t give us a room in the Hotel itself, but a room in a different facility what they called their “Second Structure” which was 3 blocks away from the so called “Hotel”. The room was on 3rd floor and was more like a Motel (without a Elevator). The AC wasn’t working, after telling them that the AC isn’t working a gentleman came clean the filter but it still wasn’t working and he kindly said he can’t do more...So, we initially booked for 7 days but we decided to change our plan and just leave the next day. We stayed one night but paid for two. This hotel was a nightmare gone wild. I do not recommend it to any one and especially families with Children
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool with jets and waterfall was lovely to relax in after a day on the beach. The room had a large terrace which caught the evening sun

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, couldn’t be better. They have successfully managed to maintain the old world grandeur and combine it with contemporary ie the bathrooms are modern. The history is everywhere and draws you in. Staff are super and very friendly.
7.5 Good
Pros: The reception staff were unbelievably helpful. Probably the best I’be ever come across.
Cons: Beds could have been more comfortable. A lot of climbing involved and no direct access to the beach even though it’s very close. No bar or food available during the day. Also a grudge in the room would be nice given that water etc has to be brought in.
7.0 Good
Pros: the breakfast was good, with lovely sea view
Cons: could have provided some ant spray, a tea/coffee tray would have been nice. More electric socket in the room also
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is fantastic with great history, very well preserved, good breakfast. Tuscany is magnificent!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Fantastic location, great view toward the sea, extremely friendly and cooperative receptionist. We're already planning to go back!
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like! Well, we didn't like that we had only one night to spend there.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff - really nice people, good service, nice historic building, and good location at the sea (but no sand, rocky - not very good for swimming) sunbeds and lunch/bar easily available
Cons: No air condition(!!) how could I forget to check that...my mistake...but no air condition means I cannot recommend summertime. With aircond would be a nice place for a couple of relaxing days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is fantastic. The interiors date the opening of the hotel in 1912 and they are beautiful.
Cons: Beds were uncomfortable, and you could hear noise from nearby rooms. The breakfast wasn’t as expected either.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A blast from Castiglioncello’s iconic past, this hotel is excellently located and full of other worldly details that are fab. I hope this place never changes.

6.3 Good
Pros: Location great overlooking sandy beach and bay. Short walk to superb pizzeria which played 80’s music
Cons: Hotel is quite dated. Shower cubicle held together with sticky tape. Shower head broken. Old plastic seats on balcony.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very supportive management: I asked to change a blocked reservation and they accepted. The location is beautiful, especially in summer: a direct access to the stone beach is granted by the hotel. The rooms are quite simple, with standard furniture, but there is everything that is necessary. There is parking available for guests. A full three star hotel for very reasonable price.
Cons: There are minor restrictions on breakfast (available only after 07:30), but this does not affect most of guests
6.8 Good
Pros: Sea views
Cons: To move walking you have to walk on car road, there were humidities on bathroom and the room was not the one from photos. It had sea view and balcony but had a roof from lower floor so you cannot see the whole see. I paid more for the ones on photos. It was a pity, site has a lot of potential.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: View, location
Cons: No internet in the room, bathroom needed updating
5.5 Okay
Pros: The view was exceptional and we asked for a room with a balcony, which made the whole stay worthwhile!
Cons: A very tired shabby hotel. I’m sure in its heyday, it was superb ! Not good quality breakfast.
4.3 Okay
Pros: the hotel has nice landscapes over the sea
Cons: Facilities were very poor , old furniture and shabby overall equipment . The hotel is not worth of 3 stars !
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Great view Nice little town within walking distance Very quiet
Cons: The place needs to be fully upgraded from the sixties The breakfeast is not eatable We will surely not return
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a beautiful building from another era, very charming. It holds a lovely position above the beaches with nice views
Cons: Walking down to the town was a little tricky as there are no footpaths but it is only a short walk
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The stunning view from our room from the heritage building on the beach cliff. Loved being able to walk down the cliff stairs to the sandy beach. Went for a beach walk and swim too. Able to stroll to town. Able to park the car safely on site. Dinner and breakfast was delicious.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, only the view.
Cons: Trashy, tiny, lousy and dangerous bathroom lousy breakfast, horrible manager, terrible parking. Lot's of stairs. Only thing was good view. Would not recommend it at all.

A stay at Fattoria nel Parco places you in the heart of Rosignano Marittimo, within a 15-minute walk of Galleria Granelli and Pasquini Castle. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I think the rating is understated, because being in the city, bypassed him completely, and apartments with such a pool and a huge area - it is difficult to find-a very good location, it is easy to descend to the sea, close to the park with swings, for the rest of the children-what you need, the water in the pool - sea What was uncomfortable for me- siesta, so if you would like to swim in the pool- it would be closed from 2hr-4hr In order to swim in the sea, it is better to have special shoes, because the nearest beaches are stony, in 20 minutes , going right along the coast, there is a sandy beach, we rested and there, and there .. it was nice and easy to walk around the city or seashore Regarding the cleanliness , it is better to take the lips and washing, and to clean up you like, and in most of Italy all this, so you do not have to be surprised ...What about appartments- doesnt matter whether the apartment with a sea view, as for me, because it is very close, and here there are two levels of terraces in the area where you can sit at the table or lie on the deckchair without going to the beach, but seeing the sea.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is near the beach (1-2 minutes), while you should be aware that mainly it is rocks and pebbles. Also keep in mind that the beach is not free, expect to pay 20-25 euros for 2 sunbeds and umbrella. The road to the beach is stairs with a couple of green terraces. You may use chairs and sunbeds here for free, but it means you should walk to the sea, and find a way to open the gates (either keep the key while swimming or ask somebody to open the door at a certain time). Promenade along the sea is quite nice. If you go to the right, at some point you will have to climb to the hill (town park with pines and good view) , but then you can return to the walking trail along the sea. Also by crossing the park and 5-10 minutes walk via nice residential area you can reach sandy beach Quercetano. There is also stairs to access the beach, and most of the beach is occupied by different beach clubs. Ground-floor studio has kitchenette (small refrigerator, gas hob, kitchen sink, crockery, cookware), dining table, patio with table and chairs, TV and sofa, double bed, built-in wardrobe, bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, bidet, wash-machine). Basically you have all what you need. Sounds from neighbors can be annoying but in most cases people try to be reasonable with loud talks/activities. You may use free parking: 1 parking slot per apartment. Plus, railway station is 10 minutes away (on foot). You can easily reach Pisa (Pisa Airport by adding PisaMover), Livorno, Florence, or Follonica.
Cons: Personally I prefer sandy beaches, while it's great to have the sea in a couple of minutes from your bed :)

Cons: pillows were not that comfy, also no fridge and elevator.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was great, although it isn't a beach front location. Staff were superb and really friendly. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good.
Cons: Dated rooms, broken air-conditioning unit, air conditioning unit took up most of the small balcony, bathroom dated, no glasses, coffee making facilities in room. Not worth the 107 euros per night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location very close to the sea. Nice room, small but had everything we needed. Super friendly staff and very tasty breakfast.
Cons: The bathroom is very small so bigger people might have problems taking a shower. It wasn’t a problem for us though.
