Pros: Views from room terrace and the pool are beautiful, pool isn’t crowded and is a really great feature, very tranquil. Location is great to visit different places around Amalfi, Pompei and Capri. Regina is very helpful and bakes lovely cakes in the morning!
Cons: Would recommend car rental, as villa is close to centre but is up a steep hill. Walls can be a little thin, depending on respectfulness of neighbours.

Pros: The property was clean, the town was very Italian and we felt safe. The host, was amazing! He was very kind and helpful, our train was delayed and we missed the last train from Salerno on our first night and he phoned me to say he would come and pick us up from the station when I messaged to say we would be late for checking in. He told us where we should visit, and was always just a message away if we had any questions throughout our stay. Cannot say enough nice things about him! My husband and I had a wonderful, much needed, holiday thank you!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, WiFi, accommodating staff, excellent access to city
Cons: No fault with hotel and staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, clean and confortable. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of choices. The position of the hotel is right in the centre of cava de tirreni, thus is nice having the car park in the hotel so you don't need to worry finding a place for the car.
Cons: The bathroom was a bit small
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The updated, but well preserved Victorian charm and antique furnishing really appealed to me. The staff was marvelous—very courteous and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good, the patio lovely. We had a two room, two bathroom junior suite with a lovely covered outdoor balcony. The floor was tiled, both in the room and patio. Lovely antiques throughout the room. Very comfortable chairs. Location was perfect: right at the beginning of the main pedestrian area, close to Paetum, Pompeii and tha Amalfi Coast.
Cons: The air conditioning was weak. The bed was very hard and the pillows a bit to thin for my needs.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was awesome. Help us in everything we needed. The hotel is close to all the tourist spots in the Naples area and the Amalfi Coast. However, bus, train or a car would be needed. The hotel building is beautiful but it could use some renovation.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: hospitality of staff. Breakfast ok, not excellent
Cons: Is outdated. Needs a renovation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and hotel was very clean. In a great location.
Cons: I didn't like the towels too much. Were not absorbent as they were cotton/linen blend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, making our stay very pleasant. They are passionate and personal. Breakfast is nice, same is dinner if you choose to spend the evening in the hotel. Great chill out spaces, both indoors and outdoors!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff are generous and very polite. Breakfast was the best and most complete we had in Italy. Aside from the usual Italian sweets they served hearty breakfast food as well. The underground parking is very handy and safe. The town centre is nice and well kept compared to other towns we stayed in Italy.
Cons: The room could do with some updating: the mattresses are a bit too hard for my taste, the bathroom is very old school and you couldn't really open the window.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vintage style, very tasty breakfast, location near walking street ,many restaurants, bars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the centre of a cosy town, on the central pedestrian street. There was a safe and spacious garage. We got an upgraded room, which was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of food, plus there is a selection of hot meals that are made within minutes. The staff was superb: we were offered coffee and snacks on our arrival, we received good recommendations what we should visit and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. We would definitely choose the same hotel next time!
Cons: Check the map and street from which you enter the garage before arrival! Pedestrian and one-way streets around the hotel.

Cons: Bed was firm (but not uncomfortable for us)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice house and room
Cons: We had a bigger car and driving there and parking was a pain, fortunately we were able to park in a hotel's parking down the street, with the host's help.
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit awkward - it was only for our use, but one had to walk a some distance in common area to get to it. The room itself was OK, but it was in a cellar with a small window and no view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have lived in Italy for 3 years and this was one of those special places that you remember to go back to. Just a wonderful atmosphere, warm caring, kid friendly in a cute little town and a host that made our experience that extra special. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old palace in a historic old village in the mountains. Charming Hostess Antonella did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast in the Very charming garden!
7.5 Good
Pros: Very helpful hostess. Good breakfast. Family friendly location.
Cons: Access street to and parking at this location was difficult because of narrow roads. Since the rooms were below basement, they were cold and humid.
6.3 Good
Pros: Large room. Although we were the only ones there, I think the main room to the place was shared. The owner was wonderful and very accommodating, gave us beer and water for free. Breakfast was good.
Cons: The town was completely deserted and a little scary. The only restaurant was a long walk up dark streets. We were there in November so maybe better in summer.

4.5 Okay
Pros: The beds were comfortable. If you're young and don't mind the noise, the accommodation is near the centre of town.
Cons: The hostess Annetta was disinterested in the comfort and wellbeing of her guests and careless about details. She gave the impression that she's only in the accommodation business for the money. We came by car and paid 20 euros up front for 2 days' parking at a nearby public car park. Unfortunately she forgot to tell us that she'd asked for the wrong dates and we nearly ended up having to pay a 100 euro fine if I hadn't noticed her mistake. The rooms and bathrooms are tiny although funkily decorated. The shower doors were stuck and the radiator was leaking all over the bathroom floor which I noticed hadn't been cleaned for a while. The first floor bedrooms are on the corner between a pedestrian area and the main drag - Corso Umberto I - so it was very noisy till the early hours despite the double glazing. Also the walls are paper thin so you can hear every sound going on in the whole building. None of us got much sleep during our 2-day stay. There is no breakfast included in the price of the rooms which we all thought far exceeded their value. All in all, by far the worst accommodation during our month-long visit round the whole of Italy, including beautiful Sicily.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hosts are delightful however the room was small and very noisy (Friday and Saturday night). It is in a good location but overpriced for what it offers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, very flexible with check in times, and the place was cute, in a great location. HIGHLY SUGGEST you check it out! Theres a beautiful courtyard and a true at home feel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, perfect accomodation! Next time again there!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, nice Host with some insider tipps and safe parking with a closed gate.
Cons: You don't get the keys for the apartment, only for your rooms. So you have to ring every time and the host opens the door. There was always someone at home but you feel not as flexible as with a key also to the house. Besides it's sometimes weird if the host is at home all the time.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was superb. Set in the hills above Cava de Tirreni. The gardens were lovely and the pool was great. We did not use a car so we’re reliant on the local bus service to and from ‘Cava’ which was reliable. Also train service from Naples was good and inexpensive and services into Salerno and to Pompei/Vesuvius were also regular and relatively quick. The breakfasts were very good
Cons: The lunch/dinner menu didn’t change at all during our stay, so it would have been good to see some variation or some ‘specials of the day’ available
5.0 Okay
Pros: The villa itself if beautiful, amazing gardens, great for wedding photo shooting. Pool area very nice.
Cons: We arrived and there were bugs/worms coming out from the closet in our room. We asked to change the room, there were no other rooms available. A cleaning lady came but the next day all the bugs were back. We told at the reception about the problem, they offered us a different room for the second night, but it was too small. We asked for someone to come and clean one more time the bugs. It was 9am and the cleaning lady came only at 1pm. Design of the room wasn’t nice, it looked like an old apartment of a grandma. We stayed in the apartment with annex - we would not recommend it. The other small room which we saw in the main hotel was much nicer but very small. Also for the price you could definitely get something better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views were absolutely stunning, the pool was well looked after, hotel was spotless, breakfast was fabulous with good choices.
Cons: The evening menu was a little disappointing in that it was the same every night, could have changed a little over the week.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool and view.
Cons: Dog barking continuensly at late night and sawmill was working at early morning (somewhere close to hotel)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was absolutely wonderful. The views, food, stuff, room! 10/10
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel far exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived at 2 in the morning! The place was so obviously cared for by the staff and it showed in every way possible. When we went out in the evening it was a haven to come back to. There were so many beautiful shady places to sit, have a drink or simply soak up the wonderful views. This has to be my favourite hotel of all time.
Cons: Nothing could have been better!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful old villa with lots of charm and character, lovely grounds around, perfect wedding venue. Beautiful surrounding area. We had a very comfortable overnight stay with a lovely breakfast, with lots of choice next morning
Cons: Could perhaps do with a little TLC, but very charming.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous little hotel in the mountains. The location is stunning. The rooms a little tired, but overall our stay was great. Staff were lovely and the continental breakfast delicious. Best part was the gorgeous local restaurant up the hill called La Foce Restaurant and Pizzeria. Cheap, fab location and one of the best meals we had in Italy.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Beautiful views from the terrace.
Cons: We felt like intruders in this hotel, we were not made to feel welcome. It was impossible to find staff to order a drink or food. Nothing was explained to us about the hotel or it’s facilities. We had no hot water in our shower, the hob stopped working and the fridge leaked water all over the floor. We did let staff know about this and things were eventually put right but only on the last day of our stay. We ate in the hotel restaurant once and the food was ok but the staff were unfriendly and made us feel we were an annoyance. I read reviews that the breakfast was great but we did not find this to be the case. The staff, when you see them, put out only a little bread, meat and cheese at a time and there is always a queue for the coffee machine - all in all it was an awkward experience. We did hear from other guests that they will make you eggs at breakfast but this was never offered. We asked for help with trips but this was also reluctantly carried out and never followed up on. All in all we were very disappointed with our stay. Our room was spacious but dark with many things not working. There was a wedding on one of the days of our stay and that makes the feeling you are intruding even more. The layout of the hotel is all wrong and you have to walk through the wedding venues to use the hotel facilities. The pool was small and the area for sun beds around it very small - not sure why they don’t use some of the terrace. On one day we had to ask for the children to use the pool as it had not been opened by its advertised opening time of 9am. More disapproving looks. The main hotel bar was not open once during our stay which meant going to the very front of the hotel, outside to the takeaway shop to order a drink on the rear terrace. The road to get into the hotel courtyard and car parks is so narrow we had to pull in our wing mirrors to get through. We were glad when it was time to leave.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. As well as the Hotel there were three restaurants in walking distance.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Especially the location itself is very nice though the rooms are a bit outdated. The dinner was okay and the breakfast sufficiënt though more wholemeal bread would have been better.
