The staff was very friendly though.

9.6 Excellent
Cons: The toilet overflowed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing was wonderful!
6.7 Good
Pros: This is not really a B&B, but a modern, small hotel with free breakfast. The room was modern, spacious and clean. There was convenient underground parking with a charger for my electric car and an elevator. The staff was welcoming.
Cons: The room was on the ground floor and we didn't feel secure leaving a window open at night since it would be easy to enter the room from the street. The beach is a block away from the hotel. There was no view of the beach or ocean from the room. Without an open window there was no ventilation, so the room was stuffy and sleep was difficult. We discovered there was little reason to be in Cayucos except it was a convenient stop on the way to our destination.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The attention from staff
10.0 Excellent

Pros: such a great dog vacation... listening to the sound of the ocean while falling asleep is heavenly. Very peaceful and fantastic location.
Cons: Can't say much. Just that the staff could soften up a bit and be a bit more welcoming, seem very focused on rules & task at hand.
7.9 Good
Pros: fresh fruit
Cons: not a variety of fresh fruit
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Literally on the beach. Loved the sliding door. Liked the balcony. Beautiful view of stars and ocean at night.
Cons: I am not an animal lover. I would prefer no dogs at hotels. The beds were weirdly uncomfortable. They were small and akward to move around on. It felt like you were leaning on one side. I didnt like that the bathroom sink was outside of the restroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything: the location, the room, the view, and the staff!
Cons: nope

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very nice, the location is amazing, and the facility is very nice.

Cons: Nothing at all.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The office team were really friendly and explained everything well. The room was nice and big. I loved how the grounds had outdoor lounging space and the location was excellent.
Cons: There were no outlets near the nightstand. The breakfast was pretty weak-sauce.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We were a family of 6, 2 small kids, 2 seniors. We had 2 rooms. The rooms were spacious, the clerk very helpful and friendly. The location is great for beach goers, the beach is a short walking distance. There is a supermarket right next door, and a couple of restaurants in short walking distance. The clerk recommended one to us that was great.
Cons: The price was high for a motel, but comparable to similar properties in the area. All in all we enjoyed our stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk reception was friendly and warm. Room was surprisingly spacious and clean.
Cons: There was no hot breakfast items (scrambled eggs, waffles/pancakes, bacon/sausage) though there were pastries, yogurt, juice and coffee/tea.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: dog friendly!!!! treated our dog like another guest!!!
Cons: this is a basic motel that specializes in being dog friendly...it is superbly run and clean!!! it across the street from an off leash beach!!! we take our dog every year for her vacation and stay at this motel...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Altought the hotel wasn't modern it was extremely clean.
Cons: Breakfast was ok, but not too much to chose from.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to beach. Large rooms.
Cons: My room was fine, but some relatives were staying in two other rooms and were inundated with ants the entire time.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: staff was rude
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I loved that when I got there the staff was very helpful with placing me in a bottom room with a recliner as requested. The place was immaculate and huge. The convenience of where I got to park and where my room was, was totally awesome since I'm handicapped and it made my transition so easy. Housekeeping was superior.
Cons: I'm going to be very truthful. When I checked in NO ONE told me that there would be construction on the breakfast room 2 doors down from my room AND on my last day there I would have to park a block away because they were re-doing the parking lot. (I'M HANDICAPPED) There was a 3 hour period couldn't even get to my room because I did not want to track black tar onto my walker, shoes or car. When I was finally able to WALK all the way back to my room, I had to listen to continual construction and deal with the awesome smell of tar!! (Sarcasm) Our "continental breakfast" (toast, muffins and cereal) the last two days had to be gotten from the office where people check in and then there was no where to sit, so you had to go back to your room with it. I actually expected an apology for the HUGE inconvenience but instead all I got when I checked out was "You're good to go!". They knew it was an inconvenience. The clerk even walked outside with us trying to figure out how we could get to our room, but NOTHING! Not an apology and definitely not any compensation for the trouble. To me, it seemed like... they got they're payment from me... they didn't care one bit about anything else.

Pros: I really liked the view, location, self check-in, layout of the room... It was beautiful
Cons: I didn't like some of the hidden fees that I was unaware of
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff incredibly nice, location is exceptional, great for walking to the beach! There are only a few restaurants and a small grocery store, so if staying a long time, be sure to pick up groceries in bodega bay or Paso Robles.

Cons: I can’t think of anything we didn’t like.
3.3 Mediocre

Cons: The sofa bed was really bad. Beware of that if you expect on using that for someone! Otherwise all was perfect!

Beachwalker Inn Cayucos - Cayucos - Bathroom
7
7.3 Good (543 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Beachwalker Inn and Suites in Cayucos, you'll be near the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Morro Rock and Morro Bay State Park. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, laundry facilities, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good options for breakfast - we went for the yogurt and cereal. Hospitality Room was accessible easily with lots of space to sit. We liked having the usb power at the bedside table.
Cons: The coffee in the hospitality room was weak. In the hotel room, there was a loose toilet seat, and the paint on the door in the bathroom was peeled off and needs to be repainted. It makes it look shabby and run down.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is the best! Quite larger hotel all of the rooms are awesome, I've stayed quite a few times. There are fireplaces in the rooms and large windows, with views.
Cons: Hair on the towels, that weren't ours, under the bed had trash from previous beach goers, tvs need to be updated.
7.9 Good
Pros: Huge room
Cons: Not many options for breakfast
4.6 Okay
Pros: The bathroom and it’s cleanliness was a about the only thing that we liked. Other than the location but all the hotels there are in a good location.
Cons: The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room looked like it needed a little work. Just the whole vibe of the room sucked. My night stand was a microwave. I felt like I was staying in a cheap motel. I’ve actually stayed in a motel 6 for more than half the price in Morro Bay that was better than what we got. For $228, I feel like I was completely ripped off regardless of the location. I just don’t understand how it got a 7.9 rating.
5.8 Okay
Cons: No air, only a stand up fan. Room was very hot.
6.3 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Front staff was friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Plumbing is old. Toilets get backed up, loss of water pressure, and hot water when hotel/motel facility is full. Not to close to beach-pier. Motel/Hotel facilites have been updated but not plumbling or hot water for amount of persons registered.
7.1 Good
Pros: This is very old hotel badly needs renovation, but it is clean and things are working well though tremendously shabby. I liked the best that the floor was not usual dusty carpet, but decent laminated boards so the air in the room is rather fresh.
Cons: Scratches on walls, old furniture, even the toilet seat was chipped
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, price
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay and we love that the hotel was pet friendly. We had everything we needed and the property felt very safe.
Cons: Shower head was broken but we fixed to help the over stray.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to the beach
Cons: A bit pricey
4.0 Okay
Pros: They were installing new vinyl windows Breakfast service was adequate--you get what you pay for Location close to shopping and beach, but no views
Cons: Wifi never worked. The decor was stuck in early thrift shop Parking was barely adequate. One more car and we would have been on the street
1.0 Poor
Pros: Price was the only acceptable part of the experience. The old adage, "you get what you pay for" certainly couldn't apply more for this one.
Cons: Innkeepers with the personality of a cardboard box, very ltd onsite parking, bikers roaring in at all hours, very outdated and in disrepair room. .hard to reach by phone, just a few of the disappointments.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: Needs updating definitely, was not worth the price
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and I felt comfortable after a long day out and about .
Cons: A little out dated for being a beach town I’d think an update would be nice .
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean, just not updated for electricity. Don’t mind old funiture or shower. But fan needs to work and outlets need to look safe.
Cons: Need updating of the utilities. People great, bed comfortable, location about perfect to the town and beach but overpaid on a Saturday for the amenities. Very clean.
7.5 Good
Pros: What eggs,,?? coffee and a roll that was it,,
Cons: Breakfast
5.4 Okay
Cons: "Breakfast" was included, but ... they should not call this breakfast: just some cookies and bad coffee, for hot water you had to go back to your room and heat it up in the microwave ....
7.5 Good
Pros: The property wasn’t as bad as some of the other people make it out to be it was a good location and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night sleep
Cons: Didn’t like that there were no screens on some the windows
6.3 Good
Pros: quiet. comfortable bed
Cons: no breakfast. also, the reception area was closed and locked until well past 8:00, so no coffee (except blah room coffee). When I had a need at 7:00 am, I had to wake/wait for a very grumpy person to help me. The town was much smaller than I had anticipated, so eating and grocery options were limited. bathroom door would not close.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, fresh fluffy towels
Cons: Gurgling noise in fridge
9.2 Excellent
Cons: The room we had was clean and comfortable. The t.v. was in an odd location, but we managed. Staff was friendly and checking in & out was easy.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to the beach, quiet location, very friendly and understanding staff, beds were decently comfortable, they allow dogs for an additional $11 each a night, cable TV and dominos delivers there! Our room was clean and tidy. Also has a mini fridge and microwave.
Cons: The room was really small and there was no tub, only a standing shower. Light curtains so the room was pretty bright all night and very much so in the morning. No AC, just a tall fan, so the room got pretty warm with 4 of us in there.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Price but from now on I will read reviews
Cons: Cold water in bathroom sink was broken Staff was not friendly at all but in there defense maybe they could not speak English I would not recommend this dump!!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Pictures on the site were not like the room at all. Website said check in was at 2:00pm and staff told me I couldn''t check in until 3:00pm. Bed was hard and uncomfortable.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location

4.2 Okay
Pros: The location was good. The staff were kind.
Cons: Dirty. Mattresses were broken down, extremely uncomfortable. Bedding horrible. Towels damp. There was no other motels in the area with a vacancy or we would have gone somewhere else. I will never stay there again. I’d rather pitch a tent.
4.2 Okay
Pros: How close it was to the beach.
Cons: Not clean, stains on everything. They left someone else’s loofah in the shower. The shower didn’t drain and we had to shower in standing water. Linens in bed had stains, carpet was full of stains. You had to use 2 remotes to control the tv. It was an awful experience.
4.6 Okay
Pros: They knocked 50 of the ridiculous price because the key wouldn't work and we had to leave the room
Cons: Dirty ,old, expensive ,free breakfast is a Dixie cup of koolaid and a muffin gross
4.0 Okay
Pros: Close to the beach and everything downtown.
Cons: The bathroom sink was dirty and so were the walls, space heater did not work, the blankets on the beds were full of holes.
7.1 Good
Pros: It's all about the location and price for the area. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. It's an older motel in our favorite beach town. It was clean and quiet. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast.
Cons: Bed, linens, and towels are pretty basic. Floor was uneven but not a trip hazard.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Noise from room next door
7.0 Good
Pros: Large room, plenty of tv channels and overachieving fridge.
Cons: amenities at a minimum, veeery slow hot water
