Housed in an historic Victorian-era home, this Center Harbor B&B features an outdoor pool overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. Upon entering, guests can marvel at the mural in the foyer depicting Center Harbor circa 1865. A quilt design, ceiling fan and fireplace are featured in each room at the Center Harbor Sutton House B&B. Guests are also provided with a cable TV. Private bathrooms are stocked with a hairdryer and extra towels and toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Sutton House B&B Center Harbor. A free full hot breakfast is served each morning. Guests are welcome to use the BBQ facilities and outdoor dining facilities, or relax on the wraparound porch with a view of Lake Winnipesaukee. Excellent hospitality. There is a nice outdoor swimming pool with plenty of clean towels, althought the pool is accessible from the main building by climbing several flights of outdoor stairs. My "Teal Torquoise Suite" was an ideal venue for a solo guest that was not part of another group occupying the main lodge. My suite had a spacious bedroom, roomy bathroom, and private outdoor porch. The room was somewhat noisy due to street traffic; the window air-conditioner muted the sound. I preferred to have breakfast in the small sun room rather than having it served on the outdoor porch. Parking was available with both a street level front entrance parking lot and a separate parking lot near the pool. Sutton House is walkable along the side of a busy road to the main area of Center Harbor where there are several restaurants, a grocery store, ACE Hardware store, and NH State Store. I appreciated the welcoming friendliness of the proprietor during my four night stay.
