Great hotel if you're just interested in having a place to store your stuff and lay your head at night. The room was clean and the staff was courteous. A short ten minute drive to downtown. Would gladly stay here again.
Me and my boyfriend come to continental all the time just to get away and be alone together. Everytime we come at least 4 times a month the staff is great. We always get a good and clean room. We never have to worry about anything being dirty or smelly. The bed is comfortable. And did i mention how great and helpful the staff are? As much as I come I get a free night lol. But seriously we never have any complaints about the hotel. And its worth your money.
rooms small but adequate, beds were not comfortable, breakfast choices ok/ very convenient to all parts of the city, close to many fast food restaurants, can not use triple a discount if booked thru online link
I was in town for the World Finals at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the hotel was very clean & comfortable. The staff was also very friendly throughout our stay.
The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet even it was close to the freeway. It was convenient to have several fast food restaurants on the same street. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again.
We needed a reasonably priced hotel near a concert we were going to and the continental Inn fit the bill. Staff was friendly, the room was avg or slightlly below, and the location, although close to the concert we were attending, was a bit seedy and noisy. The room had a musty smell and the bathroom needed some attention(leaky faucets, noisy fan). As we were on the ground floor the noise seemed a bit excessive. As it was New Years Eve I guess i would give it a pass on the noise though. The neighborhood definitely gave me the creeps though, to many people just hanging out,and a warning from our cab driver that this area was not safe. Anyway the price was right, we had a good continentaly B-fast, and survived unscathed!
The room was clean, but cramped and dark. We had 2 beds and there wasn't room for much else. The bed was comfortable. Everything worked fine. It's very close to the freeway and not far from campus, uptown or the big mall. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall a good value if you don't plan to spend much time there.
This is a good, clean inexpensive hotel that's good for a short stay.
Front desk guy had issues with English and was rude. The breakfast is barely edible. Room was clean and comfortable. No extras. Thin walls, wear earplugs if you want to sleep. Like I said you get what you pay for. That being said, the place is good.
I thought it was a good clean room with a friendly staff.
I love it here! Very friendly staff! This is my place to stay when in Charlotte, NC.
The service was wonderful. Owners were very very helpful, kind and courteous@ Would definitely recommend a stay with this hotel.
The hotel is an older building, which was probably renovated many years ago, and is not very pretty. The rooms are small, but clean, and the staff was very friendly. The cost was reasonable, but not cheap for the quality.
