My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I was on a business trip so I spent relatively little time in the room, but it was clean and the bed was comfy, which is really all I needed. There are nearby food options and easy access to I-77, which was a plus for me having a long class after driving for hours the first day of my stay.
The only negative experience I had was the power going out the last night of my stay and the hotel being evacuated. However, that wasn't a fault of the hotel so I didn't factor it into my rating. They had a staff member escort me to my room to get my things and set me up at another nearby hotel. Minor inconvenience at best and I'm impressed that I didn't experience any unnecessary or prolonged delays getting it sorted.
Smelled awful, housecleaning had obviously not been to my room when I checked in, poor service
It was weird
Nice, large banquet hall with overlooking rooms, but in need of cleaning and fine tuning. Location is on busy road with a 5 minute walk to some fast food chains and a couple full service restaurants. Room size average, but in need up updating. Room was mostly clean.
Gift shop was outdated. Hotel has lots of potential, but surrounding businesses and environment hinder the atmosphere. Surrounding plaza is set up awkwardly and in need of attention to curb appeal.
Quiet, comfortable, and convenient. Plush king size bed
Staff could have directed me to park around back, steps from an elevator and the room. But instead they directed me to park out front, and schlep my bag quite a distance to the elevator and room.
this hotel was much nicer inside the rooms than it was on the outside. It was kind of like the hotel that time forgot. It kind of made me feel like I was in that hotel from the shining. The rooms are clean though and the staff was very friendly.
Dirty with litter throughout the hallways. Very long distance from the front desk to the rooms with only one luggage cart available. Poor communication between staff.
Smelled stale. Bed was lower end of comfortable. Hotel was nothing like website showed. Was supposed to have a king and gave us a double but did not let us know, went to room and found out ourselves and had to walk all the way back to front desk from the back of the building which takes about 12 minutes and it was 1:30 am. Not a good thing when all you want to do is go to sleep.
The airport shuttle and free long term parking on the hotel grounds provided exactly what we needed.
The room was old and the bathroom ugly. On a night when very few guests were at the hotel, they placed us directy beside the elevators.
Near the airport
A real pain getting the shuttle to pick me up. No way to contact them because they are incorrectly listed on the hotel directory at the airport . . . had to go to the airport's info desk for assistance.
Closeness to Charlotte Airport, but as we arrived on a Sunday did not think all outlets etc. would be closed. However on reflection it is Billy Graham country........
Our bedroom window looked out on an internal restaurant area. No external view at all
Staff was very polite and helpful, we enjoyed the stay and plan to stay there again when we travel.
there needed to be more vending machines
Good hotel with nearby restaurants if you did not want to eat in.
I was there very short time
I was there very short time
I liked the cleanliness of the room.
