Not clear system
Cons: was very hard to find desk, because we arrive in domestic flight terminal. there is also Budget desk but guy said that we need to go in international arrival terminal.
Also, we ordered car in KAYAK website, and there selected insurance, but guy from budged didn't saw it and suggested to us chose insurance again with huuuuuge price. why??
Dropoff car In Lima airport terminal is big issue to find gates.
Also, in KAYAK website price was ~60USD for 3d, but Budget added some airport taxes and etc... +25USD...

Bad costumer service
Cons: When pickup they try to force you to buy insurance claiming is mandatory but is just optional. Cars are full of scratches and when you return the car they will try to find one not marked at the pickup to ask you for a tip. Be careful.

Hope all car rentals in Peru aren't this bad!
Pros: The car worked!
Cons: Clutch was set too low (had to push it down to the floor to engage) and breaks were too touchy. Made for a very uncomfortable ride. Felt ignored for nearly half an hour when trying to find someone to give us the car.

Renting from Budget Miraflores is outstanding
Pros: The agents were super helpful and friendly. The office was clean. They processed my rental quickly. The car was clean and in good state. It was a great experience.
Cons: I cannot say anything that I did not like.

Didn Honor Reservation
Cons: A day before the pick up, checked with agency and, surprise, didnt figure on reservation list. Worst customer service, dont even tried to solve situation.
Cons: The services is very bad they tried to make me pay more money

Very friendly staff, difficult to find drop-off
Pros: Friendly and honest staff
Cons: I had serious difficulty finding the location to drop off the car. In fact, it was closed although Alamo claims to be opened 24 hours. I managed to leave the car at the designated place and have the clerk at the desk arrange for the checkup.
I did make my flight, but it was a stressful experience.
The staff was really friendly.
Pros: Economy and maneuverability. Car handled well for driving in Lima

Worth the money
Pros: The car was comfortable, was relatively new and was somewhat economical.
Cons: It takes the rep too long to do the paper work upon arrival to check in. Upon check out it takes them even longer to get to the car to receive it and then you have to go to the terminal to finish the whole process. It's too much of running around just for the process.

Overall great expirience
Pros: The car was in almost perfect condition. With one small downside.
Cons: We've booked the cheapest car but for it you should leave 5000$ frozen if you're not 26. We did not find that info on the web site.
So we end up on more expensive rental.
The car that we rented was very sensitive to noise. If the noise was really loud the alarm enabled. Otherwise car was perfect.

Good company. Good value.
Pros: The staff was friendly and courteous. The car performed well with no problems.
Cons: Pick up took an Hour! Although this was due to their not being able to process American Express that day - not really their fault - it was their banks's. At least the representative provided options. The car was advertised on kayak as a manual transmission but I received an automatic ... which was a little disappointing as a was looking forward to driving a stick shift ... but probably it was more practical in the end. If you are thinking of driving in Lima ... the guidebooks are Right! DON'T DO IT! Craziest drivers Ever!... at least get the insurance. Thankfully nothing happened to us.
