Customer service needs a lot of improvement. The rental provided had brakes that were shot. Every stop or slow movement you could hear the brakes screech. This was the only vehicle available for me to rent.

I cancelled reservation due to the staff at the Nashua, NH branchThe one person working that day had a friend hoping to get a rental - he then told me I could not get the car I reserved and said I had to show proof of insurance to cover a rental car. I have insurance but he said it had to be coverage for a rental car. I walked out because that is not legitimate. I contacted my insurance agent and this does not exist. The driver is insured, not the car.

Vehicle was a newer model with nice features for an economy option.Extra options were added to my rental agreement without any discussion. This almost doubled the price of my reservation. I understand it's on me to be careful when signing for anything but changing our agreement without alerting the customer is deceptive. The staff were unwilling to make adjustments even when showing them my original reservation receipt.

If I didn't call the day before to confirm my rental I wouldn't have had a car rental since they didn't have my information. I had my email reservation that I showed them and they had to get a minivan for me.They didn't clean the car inside or out before giving to me and they had a temporary plate on the car that blew off on my way back home after our getaway

Review Budge Nashua NH - Ford transitThe van was comfortable to drive.They did not clean the van or the windows. They did not have the type of mini-van we requested but the one we chose was ok. They did not accept the insurance I paid for on they Kayak website, they required a $300 deposit. They charged us for mileage even though the rental was unlimited and also charged a concession fee of $24.71. I will never use budget again.

They Charged me crazy amounts for insurance. $173.00. picked up Monday at 10:00 and returned it Tuesday at 615pm. That is a crazy amount for a crappy car! Will go back to using Enterprise! @ weeks prior rented from them and got a beautiful Nissan Maxima for only 85.00 with insurance for a day! Will never use Budget again!!

pick up was good in milfordthe office for the drop off in providance was closed and did not have a key return - I had a train leaving 15 minutes before the office opened. I ended up leaving the key with the building security guard who gave it to the staff when the office upened. It made me uncomfortable and I was disapointed

ScamThe price at firstThe customer service. The manager checked us out and accused us of “multiple” dents in the roof. We went to North Carolina and used the trunk and two front seats, never touched the roof. They were so minor and the car was white anyone could’ve missed that. It’s clearly from previous renters and now we are responsible for the damage. This was my 5th time using enterprise and I will NEVER go through them again.

Staff was very friendly, and car was exactly as expected.The car was exactly what I asked for, and the staff were all very friendly and quickly got me on my way.I rented a minivan to visit several colleges. I have given up credit cards, and expected to be able to use my debit card at pick-up. But I was informed that since I didn't have a round trip ticket, credit card-only was required...my debit card would not be accepted. We go to Orlando once a year, and I never had a problem using my debit card before, but I guess that was because I had a round trip ticket. I was lucky to have a credit card to use...but I would have been left high and dry if I didn't. So I would suggest a checkbox to acknowledge credit vs debit card requirement be added to the reservation page.

The van was comfortable, the pick-up and drop-off uneventful (which is good). Staff was very nice.The mini-van was not 100% clean, some food under the seats when they were moved around.

I waited an hour and a half to pick up the rental car. Hertz appeared to be understaffed as demonstrated by the other people waiting who stated they also had been waiting for over an hour. I missed a wedding rehearsal due to waiting for the rental car for so long. Another person waiting said they were very late for work. The employee who helped me was friendly. Hertz, please make sure you staff enough employees on a Friday afternoon so folks are not waiting over an hour for their rental car.

the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the car was newish and well maintainedthe car was not ready even tho I arrived 2 hours late to pickup. a jeep compass is not a mid sized suv, its a crossover... much closer to the Nissan Rogue than the Pathfinder it has been driven on dirt roads and was very dirty on the exterior
