I reserved an economy car and the only options available to me were an SUV and a pick up truck. I took the SUV and immediately regretted it - it smelled like smoke, but at this point my only options were to return it and try to cram my family into a pick up truck or wait around until something else became available. Also, most rental car places now have options for paying for tolls when you are traveling across state lines. Not so at this Enterprise.9.6 Wonderful

The ability to buy gas in advance (not just a full tank - or nothing) but approximately what I would use on the trip ( in this case just a half tank) - and at a very close to market price - made the drop off experience really quick and easy!Hertz

Kayak lied about the total cost of the rental and I was charged triple the amount my confirmation stated I would be charged. I am fighting the charge but so far Kayak has said they do not initiate charges - which is odd as I entered my card information into their website. I certainly will not be paying the amount charged nor will I EVER use Kayak again for anything. I thought is was odd that I could not use my AMEX to pay for my transaction, as AMEX has excellent fraud protection for its customers, which lead me to believe the transaction would be shady.
