Pros: Staff was super friendly. Will definitely rent again!

Nice little carPros: The vw is a dependable little car but very low to the ground, with any load in trunk it would scrape going over topes. Not Europcar fault but the insurance rates due to no foreign insurance being accepted are insanely high.

Scratched and poorly maintained carsPros: Car was ready on time. Car was swapped out when we came back for a problem.Cons: Our first car had several scratches, to the point where I felt europcar doesn't maintain their cars and simply charges customers for scratches which they never repair. Secondly, our first car needed an oil change after we had only driven it 30km. The staff did provide us with a new car, but on this car the staff failed to put on a front license plate and didn't tell us this was a problem nor did they note this in the contract. Upon returning the car we were blamed for the missing front license plate until we produced photos showing it was gone already upon picking up the vehicle. Bad experience!!
Hidden chargesPros: When I booked the car, the charge was $24.00 per day. At the time of pickup I was notified of the $27.00 per day MANDATORY insurance. More than the cost of the rental. Some hidden charge!!!!

Pros: The car was clean and pick up was easy.Cons: There were about 5 options for insurance that I had to have the agent explain in English to me. One of the damage waiver insurance options was so much that it equaled the cost of $43 a day to rent the car, making the total to $86.

Pros: the car worked, it got me from point A to B.Cons: No walk-around was performed prior to taking off, which i should have done anyways because there were plenty of dents and scratches. when i returned the car, damages was charged to me that were previously there.
Pros: Staff in Cabo drop off were excellent- quick, professional and explained the bill completely.Cons: Addressed the problem we had with the car by fixing the loose wheel well piece instead of removing it!
Pros: Car was clean and in very good condition. Had a Kia Sorrento.Cons: Every thing was fine until the return. Then the scam started. They fined us 1000 pesos because there was sand in the car. You cannot rent a car in LaPaz Mexico and not get sand in the car. That led to a heated argument with the return guy insulting my wife. She got so angry she walked to the airport from the drop off location. It got worse. After clearing security and sitting there waiting for our plane to Phoenix for almost 2 hours my wife was singled out for enhanced screening. She was the only passenger this happened to. They went thru her purse swabbing lipstick. Went thru her carryon in detail. Swabbed her fingers and even had her pull up her shirt and swabbed her abdomen for chemical residue. All of this in front of the entire boarding area. I am totally convinced the Payless guy was the reason. LaPaz airport is tiny and I am certain he had friends in security. It was very frightening and left a bad taste on what had been a great vacation. I would walk and hitchhike before renting from them again.

Cons: - They don't provide mats and don't want you to have sand in the car when returning it, that makes it difficult. - The cost of insurance is so high, much more than renting the car itself

Pros: Nothing. Read below.Cons: When I arrived with my 5 family members, the full size SUV we had reserved was not there. The rental agency had no SUVs, vans, or any car that had room for 6 people. They suggested that I instead rent two cars. I had to go to a different rental agency and rent a van that was three times the cost of my original reservation with you.

Pros: Nobody showed up,no agent there,I rented from AlamoCons: Someone to check if they have clients with reservations

Pros: Nothing.Cons: It would have been better if they had a car for me when I reserved a car. I showed up and was told that no cars were available. They acknowledged that I had a reservation, but could not provide a car. They did not apologize, and could not say what went wrong or when a car would be available. Never again for Payless or Budget.

Pros: No one was there to help.Cons: A phone call to representative would have been much better. The chat with whomever was on the other was going around in circles. How difficult is it to understand that there is no one there to hand me a car or speak to me...

Pros: Customer serviceCons: There was only one employee handling paperwork and pick up/drop offs. Slowed down the process
7.2 GoodJul 1 2019
Pros: The staff figured out how to resolve an unfortunate inconvenience they were left to dealt with.Cons: The vehicle I reserved being available and ready for pick up as scheduled/reserved.
Pros: NO one was thereCons: The Jeep should have been there and a representative.

Cons: I did not get the car i originally rented online via your website (jeep wrangler 4x4) and instead they wanted to give me renault duster for the same price. Was not happy about this and canceled the rental with budget

Cons: Bait and switch- half the size car we paid for for twice the money. Forced to “buy” extra insurance or have a credit charge hold for the value of the car- Don’t be scammed

Pros: The staff were really helpful. He even started early on a Sunday so that we could drop our car off before our flight out

Cons: When we got to the rental office, we were told all of their vehicles were sold out. The disconnect between Kayak and the merchant needs to be fixed.

Much more expensive than advertised.Pros: Easy to arrange and deal with.Cons: Price was way too high and vastly more than originally advertised. Vehicle was advertised at $15/day. Our 8 day rental cost $844 total by the time all the additions of insurance, fees, exchange rates etc. were tacked on.

Pros: Terrific staff, helpful, courteous and friendlyCons: nothing to dislike
Warning!!! They all try to steal your money!Pros: Nothing!Cons: We got there at 3pm and it took the lady workin there one hour to help one customer that was as ahead of us. Our reservation was for a small suv that was going to be $100 for 4 days. They wanted to charge us $330 for insurance!!! Price Paine had the insurance at $40 for silk covage and they did not except that price. They also did the same thing to the cuspmter in front of us. We ended up renting with hertz for $120 for the same car with full insurance.

Pros: Price quoted on your site wildly misleading. I was quoted as 58 dollars turned out to be 350' I'll never ever trust your site hideous insurance of @ 50 a day not mentioned. Car and staff at LAP was fine but false quote is a scam. Furious really

Cons: we reserved a car for 2 days in La Paz BCS, Mexico. when we checked in at ACE rentals there was no car available due to high demand during the Holy Week. We tried to get our money back but did not succeed. Calling Europe from mexico is not so simple with restricted cell phones.
