Driving a medium-sized car in the city is better because some streets are narrow and others are wider. This way, you can navigate the vehicle easily on curvy roads. However, consider choosing a 4x4 vehicle because some parts of the city have gravel roads and potholes, requiring a vehicle with better performance. In addition, consider the number of people and items you need on your trip and choose a spacious vehicle for a comfortable journey.
Speed limits in the city depend on the street. When driving on state and county highways, the maximum speed is 70 mph. On unpaved roads, maintain a speed of 55 mph. If driving in business districts and residential areas, the required speed is 30 mph. When approaching playgrounds or school zones, lower your speed to 20 mph to ensure the safety of school children. Violating traffic rules could have dire consequences on a driver, such as paying hefty fines or license suspension. Hence, consider maintaining speeds posted on speed limit signs in various zones of the city to promote road safety.
When choosing a space to park Rock Springs car rentals, ensure it’s secure. Also, consider the rates, parking time limits, and parking permits (if needed). Do not park in front of driveways and road signs to avoid fines. When looking for parking, consider the White Mountain Mall, which offers 2 hours of free parking. Best Western Outlaw Inn offers 2 hours of free parking; however, it is limited to customers and visitors. There are several cheap garages and parking lots in the city. The average hourly parking rate in Rock Springs is $22.49. Also, you can find several parking lots outside the city, especially if you want to avoid congestion. If preferred, you can park outside of the city and get into the city by bus.

Cons:
I changed my pickup time via the National call enter but that was not relayed to the rental location. When I arrived, I had to wait for two hours because the personnel at that location were getting a car fixed and manning a second location. When someone finally arrived to get me my car, they indicated the car I had reserved had been given to another customer as they had not received my new pick-up time from the National customer service call center. So I ended up driving a much smaller vehicle than I had reserved, which I received only after waiting two hours at the rental location, during which time the National customer service reps were of little help. Last time I rent from National if there is another option. One location in Rock Springs
