When looking for a car rental in Cheyenne, keep the number of people you carry in mind. If you plan on doing a lot of solo traveling, you may find that renting a vehicle is more cost-effective than purchasing one. However, a minivan rental is essential if you are on a journey with more than two people. When choosing a vehicle rental, you must consider where you are going. Renting a midsize SUV is a sensible option to go to places that cannot be reached by any other means.
High-tech video cameras have been put along several of Cheyenne's routes, so motorists should be extra cautious and drive at a safe pace. Know that the speed limit varies from one section of Cheyenne to the next. Most cities have a speed restriction of 50 mph on the roads; however, as you go outside of the town, the limit drops to 40 mph.
There is no need to worry about where to park your vehicle in Cheyenne since there are many parking garages and lots accessible to the general public. So, you can stop worrying about running out of room in your closet or basement. The Cheyenne Municipal Parking Garage is one of many nearby garages. These garages provide competitive rates compared to other parking options and maintain a safe and secure facility.

Pros:
Car ran well.Cons:
Took FOREVER To get the car rented at the airport in Cheyenne, WY. System would not process my credit card. Had to run it again. There was only one person at the airport and there was a fella in front of me who had similar credit card issues. It took an hour from the time I got there and when I drove out with the car. Get your system fixed. The attendant was very polite and tried is best to get things moving faster. He must have to enter a lot of stuff or his side had system issues too.9.6 Wonderful

Pros:
I arrived at the rental counter at Cheyenne airport to find a sign with a number to call for help. I called the number and spoke to a woman who was actually in a room behind the counter. The woman said someone would be there shortly then she came out of the room and told us she couldn't help us we hCons:
I don't recommend renting the Toyota Carolla. I am under 6 ft and the mirror is below eye level, so I spent my whole trip ducking under the mirror to see anything on the right side of the car5.2 Fair

Pros:
I got a Toyota Sienna instead of the Nissan Quest. Picking up the van was quick and easy.Cons:
Cleanliness; when I picked up the van, it had a strange odor. After looking around and moving the seats, I found some uneaten chicken nuggets and ketchup under the seats. I took the van home and clean out the inside before going to pick up my visiting family from the airport.9.2 Wonderful

Pros:
The service that I received during the pick up of the rental could not have been better. The assistant manager at this location went above and beyond and because of this our vacation was improved 10 fold. I could not be happier.Cons:
During the drop off I had to get a ride that was on a time table. The return took considerably longer than the pickup due to the staffing of the office. (Only one person working at the time) With that being said they did what they could and I left a happy customer. They will do whatever they can to earn your return business and I recommend them without hesitation.7.2 Good

I think the car has a 12 gallon tank and we made it 400plus miles on one tank. Good stock stereo system, which is important to me on a long trip.10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
Dakota Watts called us the morning of our rental pick up to tell us they did not have our truck. I told him they need to get us 2 vehicles that would get us to Steamboat that would fit 8 with ski gear. He gave us 2 vans- instead of the car and truck we reserved and made arrangements to trade in van for truck at Steamboat. And then when our flight in Laramie was delayed on the return he made arrangements for truck drop off in Denver at no cost and we got home on time nothn10.0 Wonderful

There wasn't a person at the pickup location, so I had to call another uber to drive me to another location, where they did not accept my debit card. I spent more on uber rides there and home than the rental would have cost. Complete waste of money. I suggest calling in advance to get these kinds of details.2.0 Poor

Staff was friendly and helpful on both endsCons:
Car was not ready to be driven. Oil change was past due kept getting messages the entire trip that it was past due. The air in the tires was 27, 30, 45 and 39 which is ridiculous obviously NO ONE did a review of the car before I picked it up. I had to pull over twice to get the tire pressure correct and from the time I left the oil change light was on. In addition the windows on the inside were not cleaned and therefore caused issued with night vision. I give you an F on preparation, worst condition of any rental car I have ever driven2.0 Poor

Pros:
They wouldn’t rent me a car after booking and providing my card info, because my license is out of state. I was stuck 4 hours away from home for the whole night.Cons:

Sep 2018
Pros:
The size of the car was nice and the price was good. I like most of the bells and whistles that the car comes with. I like the avg. MPG display the most.Cons:
There was some trash that wasn't mine I found when cleaning it (I was the only one ever in it). The radar detector was a hazard for me personally, although I think it may have been malfunctioning. The loud beep when I'm changing lanes on a freeway made me hesitate longer before transitioning completely and increased the danger to me. The "replace oil and oil filter" prompt came on the screen from the first time I turned the key and every time after.4.0 Mediocre

Pros:
Quick, easy, and painless pickup an drop-off of rental car.Cons:
Rental car was not vacuumed or cleaned out prior to our pickup. The check oil light came on consistently and was extremely distracting. The satellite radio ended 3/4 of the way through the trip and when we called, we were told we would have an additional $79 charge for the satellite radio service for remainder of the trip. When trying to call the local office, not once did they pick up the phone - it always rang and rang until the national line picked it up.One location in Cheyenne
