10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole B&B was beautifully put together and the service was excellent and very friendly. The furnishings and bathrooms all look brand new and are tasteful and completely spotless. Nice tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. We had a very comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious and great value considering it was included in the price of our room. The owners' homemade jams and bread are particularly recommended! The Old Manor House is also really well located for Cheddar Gorge, which is a 5-10 minute drive to Axbridge, and local pubs and walks.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was the most welcoming place in a beautiful setting. The owner also had huge surprise in store for us. A real treat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast, location, staff and room were superb. Nothing was to much problem.
Cons: The drive, to the property, was full of loose gravel so bikers be ware!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views. The combination of B&B with a campsite and holiday lodges created plenty of space and a sense of informality that was very relaxing. Good seating areas both inside and out, with ensuite rooms, provided hotel-type facilities, but without the restrictions that often apply once full board catering is provided. I would certainly use it again.
Cons: My only reservation is that options over a longer stay would feel rather restricted if a guest did not have their own transport. Car, or bike would be enough.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really nice having it cooked to order, and the location in the middle of Cheddar was ideal
7.9 Good
Pros: Warm welcome and very friendly hosts at breakfast which was excellent, plenty of choice, lovely dining area. I was not in main building but in a room to the side at back of b&b, for me it was dull, cold and very basic, not like the rooms pictured at point of booking in main house, so although the room was spotless clean, very small area to hang clothes if you are staying more than a few nights. Kettle and choice of the usual tea, coffee sugar & wee pots of milk although no choice of decaff, sweetener of alternative like green tea, I dare say if you asked they would have provided but only staying one night and usually take my own with me just encase. Lovely fresh towels and toiletries, electric shower was compact but worked well. Parking is free onsite however if busy you may have to park across road which is chargeable during the day. Would stay again when in area but would request a different room, room and breakfast rate very keenly priced.

Pros: Pleasant room with good amenities, owners friendly and helpful.
Cons: Our room was not en-suite, but the bathroom was not shared. The shower was over the bath which made stepping in and out awkward for both my wife and myself. I also found it very awkward to adjust the blinds in the bedroom, needed to be about six foot tall to reach.

Pros: We had a king room and it was really spacious, including a large bathroom with separate bath and rain shower. As a bonus it also had a small patio area at the back, which my son loved as he played with the owners dogs on the garden opposite. Breakfast was excellent and the whole place was very well presented. Cheddar is within walking distance (about 15mins)

Pros: Gorgeous converted pigsty, roomy, cool in the baking sun, nice breakfast, comfy bed.
Cons: You had to go through the owners back garden to access the property.
7.9 Good
Pros: Cosy, quite a good location (a 10 minute walk to local pubs and 15-20 to walk to the Gorge). The host is very accommodating. The shower is huge!
Cons: A bigger kettle would be nice - the little one just about makes one cup at a time and we drink a lot of tea! New dishware as well... the glasses are very scratched up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property is ideal for visiting the area and with free access to come and go as you please it was very convenient. Off road parking was available which was important for us and it is located at the rear of the owners property in a small residential area so very quiet. Lots of little extra touches have been thought of including a fridge which was handy for our Cheddar Cheese to be stored in overnight :-). A TV is now included which I don't think would have bothered us if it hadn't but it was nice to catch up on the news whilst having breakfast. The owners were very responsive to messages sent and overall a great little property.

The staff were excellent, everyone was so friendly and welcoming and they could not do enough for us to make our stay pleasurable. First class service all-round! The food was excellent from the cooked breakfast to the evening meals. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back again. The location was perfect for a trip to the gorge and Longleat was less than an hour away. Clarks village is only 30 mins up the road if you fancy some retail therapy!
Cons: The only thing for us was the beds were far too soft for our taste but then we have a firm at home so prefer a harder mattress and appreciate they have to accommodate for all preferences

Pros: We particularly liked the peanuts and jelly beans in our room. Having a bath and a shower was very welcome too. The breakfast was superb plus we also had coffees and real ales at different times during our stay.
Cons: The pillows were a little soft as was the mattress. I prefer harder versions of both.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was a friendly well situated pub, the staff were great, the room was good, snacks were refilled daily to my delight, 2 types of nuts in glass jars and jelly babies. Cheddar Gorge was a 15 minute stroll away, we came for some R&R a d some fun, we had both. We came to the hotel on a Motorcycle,, some places do not like having bikers around but this wasn't the case here, they welcomed bikers.
Cons: The bed was not as comfortable as it could have been, but saying that it wasn't a show stopper at all - we stayed 3 nights

Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Swan at Wedmore has a wonderful location and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed spending a night there. The atmosphere the food and Wedmore was great.
Cons: Nothing ! We enjoyed the fact that it was a busy pub and although we were in a room at the front of the property over some seating and tables outside, it was great to hear the noise - never got rowdy. We were also entertained (night of Friday 6th Sept) by a brilliant guitarist in the bar - sorry don't have his name but although we had an early night listening to his playing from upstairs was magical. I must also state that Wedmore was also special - the shops and the people were brilliant, just like the staff at the Swan. Every one of staff we met had time to be pleasant and provide excellent service. Must mention again the food it was outstanding. One of the best places we have ever stayed at.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, service, breakfast and staff helpful and friendly. Would recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing, very well decorated and clean (as was the entire building). Children had a lovely bunk bed room to themselves with their own TV. Bed extremely comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating, and the breakfast was magnificent. There was plenty of parking and the wifi was spot on
Cons: The payment system is weird. £140 was held on Friday from my bank (we were staying Saturday). When I arrived I was told that I needed to pay £140 despite a payment showing pending in my bank, and that the pending would be cancelled immediately. It is now Monday, and I still have 2x pending transactions for £140 each. It wasnt a massive issue for us, but for somebody low on funds it could be disastrous! Also the shower head is too big for the cubicle, there was nowhere for me to hide to lather my hair!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely,cosy little place.
Cons: Couldn`t use the shower as the shower head was so big and water splashed everywhere. It was a sign though saying to use a shower curtain but it wasn`t there. The spiders hanging above the dressing table indicated that the housekeeper is not paying much attention.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good pub area and good evening meal and helpful bar staff. Good breakfast staff as well.
Cons: I was told I couldn’t book for a table in the evening as there was a big party in. However the great bar staff sorted this out.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing. It was fabulous
5.4 Okay
Pros: Staff and food lovely
Cons: Bed uncomfortable and bedding, pillows flats and lumpy, duvet in need of replacement as Staines showing through cover and not very warm.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: Crowded pub on a main intersection. Bedrooms needed updating - very tired.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Breakfast was spot on and plenty of it (I couldn't eat it all unfortunately) The staff were friendly and I have already recommended to friends and colleagues if they need to stay in the area. The bed was so comfy and bonus of hot chocolate in the room :-) (no I'm not a pensioner but always love a hot chocolate)
