Pros: Conveniently located near the Main Street area of Cooperstown and very clean.
Cons: Great experience. Free breakfast.
Pros: This is a very nice hotel in a great location. It's very clean and the rooms are well appointed. The breakfast was very good for a 'free hotel breakfast.' There was always eggs, meats, coffee, juices, muffins, etc.
Pros: Clean, well maintained
Cons: Coarse bed sheets.
Pros: Far beyond my expectations with regard to comfort, cleanliness and service. The staff were very helpful, the pillows perfect and I slept so soundly and peacefully! I will definitely stay here again!
Cons: The eggs may have been cooked with some bacon fat, don't know for sure so I had to skip them despite really hoping for eggs for breakfast. Plenty other choices this is extremely minor, but a vegetarian might want to ask first.
Staff were attentive.
Pros: Room was nice size & clean. Bed was good.
Cons: Pillows are awful, breakfast was less than average. Coffee was not available until just before breakfast time.
Great location. 5 minutes from town.
Pros: The breakfast was terrific!
Rooms very nice good public areas helpful staff free breakfast is always good for a bowl of cereal if nothing else.
Pros: Nice newer hotel with big clean rooms. Nice public areas.
Cons: Its a few miles drive from town. There is a grocery store and Pizza hut etc close to the hotel. If you want to be close enough to walk to old Cooperstown and HOF its too far for that. Out in the countryside if you prefer that.
I did not realize it was outside Cooperstown by 4 miles. The motel could have told me more about what to expect about the Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum.
Pros: The room was spacious and the bathroom was large. The breakfast was good and had many choices.
Cons: The person who checked me in was unfriendly, but the rest of the staff were friendly.
Nice location to Baseball Hall of Fame. Great brewpub nearby!
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. Nicely decorated.
Cons: Staff wasn't very friendly, but not overly rude.
Pros: Great Location, Friendly Staff,Loved the Fitness Center and Pool,
Pros: Convenient location. All amenities I would expect. Front desk staff was EXTREMELY helpful with dining suggestions. Continental breakfast was better than most hotels I stay in.
Cons: Doors were noisy & you could hear them late at night. Interior appeared to be under construction making common eating area very small. Carpets had a lot of construction stains on them. Just observations. These are not necessarily bad

Pros: My fiancé and I stayed at Bayside Inn & Marina for 1 night. It was a lovely stay. The room was ready for us when we arrived, check in was simple. The room was immaculate in terms of cleanliness which was huge for me. We walked down to their beach/picnic area and it was beautiful. The views of the lake and the lake water itself - gorgeous. We just sat outside for most of the evening. When it was time to get dinner, we asked for a recommendation of light fare and got a great one, came back to the hotel and ate by the lake. The next day we were able to get up and borrow one of the hotel kayaks for free and take it out on the lake for an hour, so beautiful! When it was time to leave, we asked for a recommendation for brunch and were sent to the Double Day cafe in Cooperstown and had a wonderful meal. Overall a great experience, I would definitely go back!
Cons: The hotel isn't within a reasonable walking distance to Cooperstown center but it's an easy price to pay for the gorgeous lake views and access.
Pros: Extremely friendly staff, well kept grounds, clean rooms, quiet, beautiful lake view, will stay every time i go to this area!! Had a fire in the firepit out by lake at night and met new friends. Took their kayak out in the morning at sunrise. Beautiful!

Pros: Reasonably close to Cooperstown village and Dreams Park baseball fields. Across the street from fishing docks and swimming in the lake. Very reasonable prices during peak season. Strong AC window unit. Nice staff.
Cons: Musty smelling room due to lack of bathroom ventilation so all of the humidity is stuck in the room. Old tube style TV (some rooms have flat LCDs). Beds are terrible....lumpy, squeaky and old. Wifi was very sporadic and slow. Parking can be tight for certain units next to the entrance.

Cons: Only issue I had is my girlfriend and I drove 4.5 hours and arrived a little early and my girl had to use the bathroom. We asked the front desk and were told they dont have a public bathroom. After explaining we were guests and that we pre paid for our room we were denied. We were told too drive one mile up the road and see if we could use there bathroom. We went to a small country store and got to use the rest room. Told the owner of our situation and she was shocked and said we could use her bathroom any time.

Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Good continental breakfast. Only five minutes from downtown Cooperstown. We have stayed here twice and both times we were satisfied.
Pros: Service was prompt and friendly. Room accommodated all our needs and little niceties a bench and chair to sit and converse and a decent size fridge for beverages.
Cons: TV was washed out an blurry. However, it's like this in every hotel. HDTVs broadcasting standard picture look just plain horrible! Not a biggie though.
Pros: Quick check-in and friendly staff. Room was clean and nice continental breakfast for the kids.

Pros: Wonderful location, right in the middle of everything. Never used the car for 3 days. Rode the trolley to other locations. Enjoyed the provided breakfast buffet. Hotel and room were very unique. Town of Cooperstown was a treat.
Cons: Window air conditioner drove us nuts at night. Bathroom was a little tight.

Pros: We had a medical appointment in Cooperstown. The Red Carpet Hotel was very convenient and more reasonable than others of equal quality. We will use your hotel again.
Pros: The location was ideal.
Cons: They claimed to have free wi-fi and breakfast, but there were neither. The rooms were decently clean, but I found some dirty socks on the floor and a hole in the wall when I arrived. Shower didn't drain properly. It was way too expensive for what I received. And there were only double beds, no queen beds!
Pros: They had rooms available less than $200/night.
Cons: Outside of town, small beds, no breakfast, wifi was totally unusable, way too much money for what you got.
Red Carpet Inn & Suites Cooperstown is a great choice for a stay in Cooperstown. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 10 AM. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Location was beautiful on a lake. This two story hotel is withing walking distance of Main St. in Cooperstown so the location is perfect in every way. There is a restaurant on the property and the breakfast was very nice. There is ample parking. The room we stayed in was very, very clean and tastefully decorated.
Cons: The room was simple and on the small side. There was no microwave and no coffee maker.
The bathroom was small but adequate. The fan in the bathroom went on when you turned on the light and was very loud. I would recommend that if you stay there, you bring a night light as turning on the light( and the very noisy fan) is disruptive if you are sharing the room with anyone.
Pros: Visited this hotel in Winter and the heat was not controllable in the rooms as the regular heating system was malfunctioning requiring heat to be pumped through the central AC. The result - some very high temperatures and major discomfort in the rooms. The staff was great and very apologetic and the rooms were otherwise very clean.
It would've been nice to receive a discount of some kind (not sure if it was already baked into the price online) to account for the heating issue. Overall, the location, staff, and cleanliness of the hotel balanced out the heating issue.
Pros: Beautiful lakeside, downtown location.
Pros: The location is ideal - less than two blocks from the Hall of Fame - and it is right on the edge of the lake.
Cons: It was dark, uncomfortable, the bathroom fan sounded like an air raid warning, the walls were bare, and the sofa rock hard. At $150 a night this might have been okay - at $300 pretty much unacceptable.
Pros: The location
Cons: It was way too expensive for what the hotel offered. The only rooms left were ones listed as "lake view" which means a 4'x10' concrete area facing a cove with two lawn chairs. You can hear the people who dock their boat there at night and the morning. It's a fairly decent motel room that is priced at least twice as much as you would pay anywhere else. With taxes and fees the two nights cost about $600, quite a surprise for upstate NY. Only choose here if it's one of the last places available, which we did.
Cons: Great place and walking distance to museum
Pros: Wonderful staff, perfect location
Cons: Rooms a bit too cozy but not terrible
Pros: My trip was just an overnight stay - with my 22 year old son. I chose this venue because of its location to the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum. It did not disappoint - it was within a few blocks walking distance. Our room was right on the lake - very nice setting, as was the dining area outside the hotel restaurant. Complimentary breakfast, and boat tour on the lake was included. Very clean, but smallish (queen size) room. Free parking was nice (not much parking in Cooperstown). I would definitely stay again.
Pros: The hotel is right on Lake Otsego and it is a beautiful setting. The entire facility is updated and very clean. The proximity to town and other local attractions is very convenient.
Cons: The room was a litlle cramped. There was an exhaust fan in the bathroom that sounded like a jet engine. It didn't have a seperate switch so it went on every time you turned the light on. VERY annoying. Be aware there are NO cancellations. We were going to leave one night early to visit old friends we hadn't seen in 30 years, and they would not refund the one night. The woman at the front desk was not very personable, however the other staff members we met were all friendly.
The Lake Front Hotel is located at the foot of the Otsego Lake, on the Blackbird Bay side. Main Street and National Baseball Hall of Fame are 1,057 feet from the property. Free parking is provided. Pros: Not my first time at this Super 8. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful and their response is rapid! They aim to please.
Cons: I have been here five times. On one occasion there was no fridge/microwave. On the other occasion TV not working, however, on both occasions staff rectified the issues IMMEDIATELY!
Pros: Friendly staff, room was fine and spacious
Pros: I will only stay here when I visit Cobleskill. Te manager, is a very friendly and helpful individual
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: That no eggs available for breakfast
Pros: The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was a decent and fast option.
Cons: The staff was a little slow at refilling the breakfast buffet, they were out of coffee for about 10minutes and all of the juices were empty at 9:30 am. They seemed overwhelmed with the amount of guests.
Pros: Staff was friendly and courteous, and efficient.
Cons: The trains go by at night, and if you are a light sleeper, it may wake you up. Location problem, not a hotel facility or staff problem.
Pros: the cleanliness
Cons: the price, tv's in either room i was put into did not work, the 'continental breakfast' was a joke. Had some cups of yogurt on ice (which weren't that bad), cups of fruit (which were warm and disgusting), watered down OJ. Just went to McD's instead.
Pros: Convenient location and cleanliness.
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, convenient
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. The refrigerator was very useful to have. It was a great shower.
Cons: The mattress was too hard. It caused major back pain for me and my daughter.
Pros: The hotel was clean and neat and bright and quiet. The room was fresh and clean and well appointed - and the staff was freindly and helpful. The price was economical and in relation to prices in the area.
Pros: Wasn't loud at night.
Cons: Free breakfast in morning was terrible. No fresh fruit, stale cereal, empty juice containers an hour prior to breakfast ending. One kind of store bought loaf bread. Come on throw on some bananas/apples at least and bagels, English muffins, SOMETHING!!

Cons: Next to a bar but was surprisingly quiet. We are told Cooperstown is dead after Labor Day - which was OK for us.
Cons: There were no options when it came to relaxing. You had 2 choices laying on bed or sitting on wooden rocking chairs. We feel that there should of been at least a couch to sit on after a long day.
