Cons (-) Room was tiny, only had a bed - no chair, no desk - nothing. Really, only a bed. Oh, and a TV stuck to the wall. 16th floor (room 1612) so view was great but I came to work so no place to put a PC and to write on was a disaster. And I paid $460 for 2 nights. Cons (-) I ordered/paid for a double room in advance. Showed up to the hotel and they put us in a single. After disputing at the front desk the hotel said we did not order a double. I showed them the print out showing what I ordered and they said the order they received (I assume from Kayak) did not state that we paid for a double. Pros (+) There was friendly staff and it is very close to some great food and shopping.
Cons (-) Our room smelled like smoke and during the night of you turned up the fan it smelled a lot stronger, almost as if the last person had smoked a lot. Also we had a very small room. I get that we booked through a travel website and not straight from the hotel so somewhat smaller rooms are expected, but this room was tiny, especially for what we paid.
Pros (+) I thought the hotel was great, very friendly staff and rooms were clean. I needed to be close to the Water Tower area for my conference and it was the closest in my price range. I would definitely stay again.
