Guests have praised the hotel's location as a major plus, being close to attractions like Michigan Ave, Millennium Park, and Navy Pier. However, many reviews highlight significant issues regarding service and cleanliness, with rude staff, maintenance problems, and unkempt facilities being frequent complaints. Pros (+) The location is easy to walk to a lot of things and also the hotel is very well maintained and restored, they kept the historic feel while adding current decor
Cons (-) This is minor but I had decaf coffee in the morning in the breakfast area. The waiter on duty was kind enough to make it just for me but it tasted like the inside of a diesel engine, like the pot hadn't been cleaned in years. I don't know if anyone reads these things but if you do, good coffee is a general expectation and great coffee thrills people.
