Overview

The Wrigley Hostel offers a variety of hostel-style accommodations and private guest rooms in Chicago, just steps from Wrigley Field and close to Lake Michigan. This hostel is close to plenty of local shopping and dining, as well as other area attractions. Guests can visit the Magnificent Mile for plenty of great shopping, or explore attractions like the Lincoln Park Zoo and Navy Pier. The hotel is also just minutes from the Addison red line stop and the Clark Street bus stop.

The Wrigley Hostel offers complimentary breakfast for all guests as well as free WiFi throughout the property. There are lockers on site for guest use and there is an agenda of weekly events that guests can get involved with during their stay. The hostel offers a computer room with multiple laptops, a free library, and a common room. The common room includes a TV, a bar where you can BYOB, a ping-pong table, foosball, and a pool table. Guests also have access to the shared kitchen and dining area, as well as an outdoor lounge with a grill for guest use.

This hostel offers female-only dorms, as well as four-bed and eight-bed dorms and a limited selection of completely private guest rooms. The private rooms all include private baths, while the shared dorm spaces are available to book as private group bookings provided that there are enough guests. This is an adults-only accommodation. Pros (+) The facility is extremely welcoming. The staff are very helpful and nice. Much is provided at a low cost. I went to Chicago on a whim and ended up staying for three nights at Wrigley Hostel. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and would gladly stay there again.
Cons (-) The only down side, if one can call it such, is the location. The hostel resides in a very nice neighborhood. I was not concerned about safety. However, this nice neighborhood is about fifteen minutes from the city center. You will end up riding the subway a lot.
