The hotel was very dirty with mediocre amenities. The carpet was very dingy and dirty, and the bathroom tile was very dirty as well. The towels were thin and some had tears and stains. However, the staff was nice and helpful.
Pros. I needed a basic room that would accept my dog and had a mattress hopefully comfortable enough to sleep on. My only regret was that I couldn't check in until midnight because of the weather, so I didn't get more time to relax and enjoy the room. Great staff, clean room, microwave and mini fridge. The water pressure in the shower could be better, but the hot water didn't run out and it was a very nice stay for such a low price.
Pros. The service by staff was excellent and they included breakfast with our stay.
Cons. The quality of the bed was not up to par with the price for the room. I paid $450 for a two night, weekend stay during the Va Tech spring game weekend. The mattress felt like I was sleeping on springs with a cardboard pillow top. Also, the bathroom tub had the pipes sticking out from against the wall and when I shut the shower off, the pipe moved.
Pros. Nothing fancy...clean, quiet, safe. Can't ask for much more than that.

Cons. Mattress was uncomfortable , towels a little sparse but no worst then other hotel for the price point. Heat good but loud snd clanked at times
